      Mannn there are soooo many sharks out there right now it’s crazy! As much as it irritated me that I was catching them in a tournament I still wouldn’t of had it any other way 😂

Yea man shoulda said what’s up! I didn’t stay for long though, I was so tired I passed out as soon as I got home. Got a lot of vids planning out right now so it will be tough to plan a trip soon but we can definitely go eventually man. What's up Austin, it's Jeff spoke to at the tournament right when you were docking. Maybe we can do some fishing if you need a partner, like I said I've been the flounder Slayer lately. Filling the boat with door mats just about every time

      What up man thanks for the comment!!! Sorry man I’m usually a bit more energetic and friendly but that day I was feeling a little rough and tired.
      I definitely would love to do some fishing with you man!! Just might be a bit . Work has been kicking my butt and forcing me to work extra days so I’m having a hard time finding time to do anything at all. Hoping thing slow down a little so that I can keep up with the channel and go fishing with others. I definitely could learn a thing or 2 with flounder. I know how to fish for them but havnt spent a lot of time looking for them, I typically find them while fishing for other species and don’t target them directly but I would like to. As soon as I get some time on my schedule I’ll let yah know man!! Thanks man!!!

    You need to enter a shark tournament 😂. Me and my son walked docks for flounder Saturday morning, and he caught his PB, flounder. Probably 7 pounds or so. Was 25 inches long. It was awesome him catching a good one like that. Right before leaving for boot camp. Caught it on a vudoo. Enjoy your videos.

      @@saltymoonfishing don't feel to bad. I have hooked about 3 like that this year and I have managed to lose every one of them. I lost my fishing partner to the Navy. Now who's going to catch the doormats for me. Hehe. Cheers.

    What size reels are you using in this video?

    • @saltymoonfishing
      @saltymoonfishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      3000 to 4000 series reels, one being a diawa bg 3000 (my favorite). A shimano stradic 4000. And a pflueger president 4000.

    What line is that ?

    • @saltymoonfishing
      @saltymoonfishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      All of these reels are actually spoiled with 20lb braid that I got on amazon called reaction tackle. You get 1500 yard for 40 dollars. I’m kinda trying it out to see if I can find and differences from the big brands. Because if there isn’t any difference you get a lot more for your money and can respool your reels way more often keeping fresh strong line. Been using it for 6-8 month now and it has been great, I can’t say there is any major con to using it so far.

      Thanks man I really appreciate it. And yea man I definitely recommend it at this point. I have always been a power pro guy but had never really tried anything else and glad that I did because it’s a fraction of the cost!
