I'm also 27 and Mexican haha! It's crazy watching you truck because watching you is like seeing what could have been with my life if I went into trucking haha. I returned to school 2 years ago to finish up my bachelors and I'm finally graduating in December at 28 years old. My goal this year is to finally get my foot in the door in the tech industry after years of dreaming a white collar job. What made you choose trucking? Do you plan on trucking for a long time?

CDL won’t pay a lot at the start but a lot of people that want to get in it are struggling and starting to improve their lives. So that reality check. Really isn’t nothing when you coming from getting paid 500-800 a week. Loves the vids man. I will soon be getting my CDL and be able to provide for my family. And that’s what a lot of people want to do.

Good entertaining video work!One tip re forgetting to clean the air fryer... Have printed check lists, item by item for each task that needs completing. Have a Departure checklist for items to be done pre-trip. And an Arrival check list for items that need to be done post trip, like cleaning the air fryer. Also, I have duplicate charge cords, toiletries, razor, briefs socks casual wear -- all thst is always ready, in travel suitcases and all seperate from my home gear. ... Just some organizational tips, lol.

Today I joined my dad on one of his runs. We pulled up to this tiny little yard where he was going to exchange some pallets. As I’m sitting there I couldn’t help but think that the yard looks really familiar. Turns out we pulled up to your uncles yard. Cool little experience. Lol

I wonder why Truckers don't install a reverse camera these days with technology being easy to install. If I was a trucker I would put cameras all around my rig to for safety and security reasons.

Got my CDL in April 2024, got hired on May 2024 hauling AG commodities local in E Oregon. I didn’t come anywhere near to fully grasping what this job would be like. My previous job was interstate parts delivery hauling a 14 ft trailer and I knew I loved to drive and travel so I figured that’s exactly what it would be like but wholly crap was I in for a surprise. My beard grew a lot of white hairs pretty damn quick 😂 but I stuck with it even though the pay was lower than I wanted. I figured I’d take advantage of being local my first two years, get comfortable behind the wheel a bit. I’m grateful to have started with a 2025 kenworth T880 as my very first truck but I’m sure the time will come when I’ve got to get in the cab of some beast I nothing about. Either way, the trucking world has really grown on me and I take pride in my job, and this years goal is to stay loaded, stay sane & stay healthy.
I really dig your content not only because you’ve got a great outlook on life & work but I lived in Fresno and made deliveries up and down CA so I can relate to a ton of your travels. Stay safe brother

I know not all trucking jobs are the same. From what I've found, most pay by the mile. Usually they're not anything like what you do. The OTR, coast to coast, truckers... Pick-ups and deliveries are (much) more smoother. Then there are such companies as Pepsi where they always deliver the same thing from where it's made to stores. Walmart truckers are 'probably' the same, always delivering to Walmart stores.
It's definitely not safe to 'camp' at the side of on/off ramps.
