Funny that you mention baseball bat. One time I got a flat and had to pull into a rest stop. The sun was going down, so I decided to sleep. My girlfriend was in the passenger seat, and I was in the back laying down. Anyway, I got a weird feeling and got up, decided to look around and I see this older guy just staring at my girl. She had no clue. I retrieved a baseball bat from my truck, and went outside. I looked directly at the guy, and he drove off. I thought it was over, but I see him pull back into the rest stop and park right back in the same place! I got a feeling he was waiting for the sun to go completely down, so I called roadside service, and they arrived right before dark, and changed my tire. I should've had a spare, but I didn't. You’re a much better driver than nearly 99% of the drivers we get delivering to our store.Problem is we mainly get greenhorns behind the wheel and the other morning a man took 2 and a half hours to back a western express trailer into a wide open loading bay. He was dropping off a fresh rdc to our store and picking up the empty trailer from the day prior. So he hooked up to the empty and removed it from bay 2 with bays 1 and 3 both empty. He positioned the trailer at an angle halfway between bay 1 and 2. The new trailer needed to go into bay two and he was forced to come in at a tougher angle to avoid the empty he had placed in his own way. Needless to say he then proceeded to leave with the empty trailer and never even returned inside to grab his signed paperwork!

The added effort for all the angles while talking about the stressful timing of the DEF adds to your production value. You got your eye on the visual storytelling and it is appreciated
Man, you make it look kinda awesome to be a trucker. I like my own space, I like a good little get away as long as I have TH-cam, hydration, snacks, games ... I'm good. I'm bad with my left and right and occasionally get flustered squeezing into tight spots but I think I'd get used to it. Still, you also showed the downside ... Safety, I hope you stay safe.
Because of Alex, I got into trucking. I’m a medical student, but whenever I see a truck, I think about Alex and his truck. The other day I saw a similar truck as Alex but I It was dark green, but a woman was driving it; she had just woken up. I was much more excited than she was.
So glad you got the lesson without a bad issue. Keep the doors locked and safe, man. Don't condone violence and more a moderate... but firmly believe in the right to have a license to carry.
Yo bro you inspire me to become a truck driver, im in the process of hotshotting but watching your videos i think ima have to get a big rig instead, that whole setup you got in your truck is cool as hell.
Great video mate, be safe and always keep the door locked at night when you're asleep or even having breakfast, etc in the truck. You never know who could just burst in.
I literally thought you were buying a new kind of beer!! That was for your truck! Lol 😂 if my husband was still alive he woujust be shaking his head at me!! I remember when he worked driving a tow motor and said he was unloading the truck and the truck started leaving while he was trying to upload with his tow motor! Nice set up in your truck!!💖💕
My buddy is a long haul trucker, one night in Montana two dudes tried to break into the cab, soon as he let off 4-5 shots of his extended clip they literally begged for mercy and swore they wouldn't do it again... #SafetyFirst
Dude, props to this guy for his parking skills. If that was me it would be pure carnage. Lock that shit-up bro and use your seatbelts on the door. That could have been bad. Stay safe out there.
I had this shit happen to me a few times when I was an OTR driver. It was one of the main reasons out of many, why I quit because I had enough. I also got stuck in a blizzard and nearly died by freezing because the APU was faulty and when I called the DM, he told me to buck up and grow a pair and buy a cup of coffee. Not to mention many times I had to wait away from depots because depots didn't allow trucks to wait nearby. So I didn't get paid for waiting to unload. I couldn't take the horrifying shit on the daily basis anymore, and after almost a decade I ended up quitting and told everyone to fukoff.
20 years I couldn’t take the Bull crap that comes with trucking, not getting paid for delays on loading and unloading sometimes waiting 5 or 6 hours just to get to the door, given loads that were double booked, I get to pick up and the load is gone, dispatchers that yell and scream when you tell them your not driving in ice storms, the list goes on and on. They give you barely enough time to make the delivery so you do not have time to take breaks on the way. Seriously I could go on and on, I eventually got my own truck, went bankrupt last year because the only loads I could get barely covered fuel and repairs never mind maintenance, I was getting maybe 1 to 2 dollars a load only occasionally did I get 3 or 5 dollars a mile, I could have tried another way of getting my loads but I was just done, my truck sat in the shop more than on the road due to the way DEF just clogs the engine and destroys everything. You definitely did the right thing getting out
I’m impressed! I even hate to drive a car in the Bay Area!! I couldn’t imagine driving a big rig there. This is such an important job. Thank you. You probably have pass through charging on your battery unit so you can charge it on with the cigarette receptacle (if you have one in there) at the same time you use it.
Not sure if that was like a person just trying to tell you to leave because maybe the truck's sound is causing disturbance or really a person trying to break into your truck. Still just stay safe man.
And you wouldve gone straight to prison for the rest of your life bc the guy was not a threat all he did was knock on the truck you dont know if he was trying to break in or just ding dong ditching plus you cant kill a dude thats outside of the truck he has to be in the truck in order for you to kill them just like if an intruder was to break into your home you cant kill them if they haven't broken in yet but in texas im pretty sure you can just kill someone thats just on your property and get away with it
Appreciate truckers even more after watching this video. Truckers must learn how to navigate so many technology tools, staying alert of their surroundings, along with being safe. Please please please truckers stay alert at all times and stay safe because you have families you love yall. God's blessing over all of you
FYI: The truck does NOT shut off if you run out of DEF. You can drive 100 miles on derated power without DEF, then your truck will be limited to 5 miles per hour until you add DEF. It's all artificially done in the computer.
I figured it was someone that didnt want you to park in the neighborhood so was trying to wake you up but guess not? Fellow driver here and never wanna hear that noise. People don’t realize how hard it is to find parking with everyone having to deal with the same HOS
Don’t you just love guys who leave their headlights on sitting in the docks while you’re backing in? Glad that situation didn’t go bad on you. Stay safe buddy.
Great driving skills man! I used to do it and here in the UK we used to have to put the trailer in on the 'blind side' a lot in super tight spaces but never had a break-in attempt, the scum bags! I would hate that, I would have moved on too.
Idk how truckers do it in the UK lol That place wasn’t built for a truck. We have areas like that in the US (cough, New Jersey, cough) and it’s complete hell going there. Places that you could barely fit a 25’ box truck into and we’re backing in 53 footers making a 4 lane roads into a 1 and a half lane road lol
I've always did the seatbelt trick.. I also put a piece of rope from left door handle to right door handle and put a bell on rope so if someone manages to get in thru window quietly, the bell will ring
LOL dude! Hundreds of thousands of dollars for trucks and they can’t put reverse cameras in the mug? 🤔 Bro in all seriousness, to do what you do on your own and loading in and out, up and down and checking clearance. Hats off to you. I see these truck sim games that look very cool too.

Not every truck driver thriving on social media tho, play ur cards right
@@thacoolbean ok... :/
You wanted to grape her
Wait I’m confused you’re a medical student and a truck driver? Or you quit med school?
@@Kylewraps No, I'm a fully medical student, but watching Alex's video makes me wanna become a truck driver, lol
Always love seeing a new upload by you Alex keep up the great content ❤️
And I'm glad you had the truck doors locked 😅
0:59 bro said have a nice day at night 😂
Oh lol😂
I stopped driving in 2015. But goddammit this random video of yours shows up and made me miss it. Glad you got out safe and hope you’re still safe.
i swear these types of thieves are the literal scum of the earth.
amazing job pulling into that dock in the end, keep up the great work!
I’m glad you stayed safe always make sure to keep the doors locked

Stay safe out here man, lot of crazy folks in this world
That warehouse worker knows his stuff man....he got you RIGHT against the dock without hitting
So glad you got the lesson without a bad issue. Keep the doors locked and safe, man. Don't condone violence and more a moderate... but firmly believe in the right to have a license to carry.
I love your videos and even more how great of a father you are.
God bless you and God bless truckers. Truly the backbone of our country.
Yo bro you inspire me to become a truck driver, im in the process of hotshotting but watching your videos i think ima have to get a big rig instead, that whole setup you got in your truck is cool as hell.
I think its amazing to watch truck drivers maneuver their rigs. 😮 Real talent
Great video mate, be safe and always keep the door locked at night when you're asleep or even having breakfast, etc in the truck. You never know who could just burst in.
Man I’m glad you are safe ❤
I literally thought you were buying a new kind of beer!! That was for your truck! Lol 😂 if my husband was still alive he woujust be shaking his head at me!! I remember when he worked driving a tow motor and said he was unloading the truck and the truck started leaving while he was trying to upload with his tow motor! Nice set up in your truck!!💖💕
damn man being a Truck Driver you need too know what your doing great job man and love the setup you got there!
American Truck Simulator 2 looks ace, can't wait.
JAJAJAJJAJA "Si no... A la..." 😂❤️👍🏻 Love you channel bro, you have my subscription
the fact that they went straight for the door handle first and then knocked, is scary. Be safe bro
I know you stay strapped bro if they try that again they better think twice stay safe out there you and the family 🤟🏾
That had to be scary. Stay safe man ❤
“Behind every grass blade is an American with a gun”
~ keep it on you at all times brother ❤ stay safe
Thank you truckers! You bring us our stuff! Respect.
Always lock them doors homie, you only get one or scariest jobs in the world. Stay safe Brody. 💯
Gotta stay safe and on your toes Alex! Especially because you got kids! Much love from the I.E!
I’m so addicted to your videos! 😂 it’s just so intriguing to watch truckers life! 😂 keep it up!! 🔥🔥
For anyone wondering, it's at 14:30. Yw
truck drivers keep the world afloat, keep yourself safe bro
Man keep doing what you’re doing and it’s gonna change your life
That's scary bro. Stay safe and be careful out there!! Hopefully you cary some sort of self defense protection on you. You can never be too careful
I worked for Berkeley Farms back in the day and have backed into that same dock numerous times. 😂😂
My buddy is a long haul trucker, one night in Montana two dudes tried to break into the cab, soon as he let off 4-5 shots of his extended clip they literally begged for mercy and swore they wouldn't do it again... #SafetyFirst
Backed that in there like a champ man.respect.
Go to 14:27 if you don’t want to watch the whole video for the break in
Dude, props to this guy for his parking skills.
I thought truckers were famous for taking horrifying shits, though?
(Congrats on escaping, though)
You definitely did the right thing getting out
your a beast bro fr so impressed i as a landscaper love watching your videos man makes me realize how easy backing up my dump trucks are lol
I would’ve sent that dude to heaven lol you’re a good man
You would've sent him somewhere but definitely not heaven because that's not the place a guy like that is going lol
@@pabloc8808 lmaoo u right
And you wouldve gone straight to prison for the rest of your life bc the guy was not a threat all he did was knock on the truck you dont know if he was trying to break in or just ding dong ditching plus you cant kill a dude thats outside of the truck he has to be in the truck in order for you to kill them just like if an intruder was to break into your home you cant kill them if they haven't broken in yet but in texas im pretty sure you can just kill someone thats just on your property and get away with it
Good thing everything is recorded in case And glad your safe bro.
Don’t you just love guys who leave their headlights on sitting in
the docks while you’re backing in?
Glad that situation didn’t go bad on you.
Stay safe buddy.
Bruh 🤙 let’s get it. Got some new to watch thanks for the grind homie & stay safe fr fr being on the road too much and for your fam 💯💯🔥
Bruh just locked your truck like a normal person 😂😂
The Angles you create for your videos is just too good
Thank God you are safe .thoughts from UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧☮️👍
He probably thought you had the red light special going on
Great driving skills man! I used to do it and here in the UK we used to have to put the trailer in on the 'blind side' a lot in super tight spaces but never had a break-in attempt, the scum bags! I would hate that, I would have moved on too.
Idk how truckers do it in the UK lol
That place wasn’t built for a truck.
We have areas like that in the US (cough, New Jersey, cough) and it’s complete hell going there. Places that you could barely fit a 25’ box truck into and we’re backing in 53 footers making a 4 lane roads into a 1 and a half lane road lol
whats the money like in the UK mate? I've heard since the whole brexit thing its been all over the place?
The guys who always tryna break into his truck must be subscribed because without a TV and a PS5, no one would be breaking in.
Stay safe and plz lock your doors at ALL times. Those babies and wifey depend on seeing you making it safe back to them. God bless you always!!
I've always did the seatbelt trick.. I also put a piece of rope from left door handle to right door handle and put a bell on rope so if someone manages to get in thru window quietly, the bell will ring
Hope everything is well and thank you for the amazing videos 😊
I love these damn vlogs! Sucks you have so many things to worry about but hey its quality content! Stay safe my dude!
The way he tapes you know he loves his job. We need truckers who love their job.
to clarify on DEF the truck doesent NEED it, but it does help with gas emissions, it changes in from NOx to hydrogen and watter, or NHO^2
LOL dude! Hundreds of thousands of dollars for trucks and they can’t put reverse cameras in the mug? 🤔 Bro in all seriousness, to do what you do on your own and loading in and out, up and down and checking clearance. Hats off to you. I see these truck sim games that look very cool too.
There are actually people who've used American Truck Simulator as practice to help them pass the test to get their CDL on the first try.
