Air Fryer Fried Rotisserie Prime Ribeye Roast

  • This was the first time I made a Ribeye Roast in the Air Fryer.
    I cut a large portion of the fat off as the Air Fryer will turn it hard a rubbery.
    I cooked it for 375 for 35 minutes wrapped in foil. This got the temperature to about 69 F. I then cooked it another 20 minutes at 400 while still wrapped and the temperature shot up to about 125 F.
    I then unwrapped it and cooked it for 25 more minutes @ 400 F and the final temperature was about 141 F.
    If I was to make this again I'd try 400 F for 25 minutes wrapped then about 25 minutes unwrapped @ 400 F.

    So big tip when cooking/grilling thick beef like this...especially steaks or roasts...
    Let them sit at room temperature right before cooking for at least an hour..a roast this size closer to 2 or 3..
    Some people say to do this to increase the flavor of steak...That is NONSENSE....
    It's only to help the meat cook a bit quicker/more evenly in the center.. your 60 some degree reading would have been closer to 100 degrees the first time 😀
