I agree with you 1000 percent, that's what we do now, look back even 100 years and seeing what advancement has been made. I worry about my grandchildren and their children.

Thxs to my son I spent a lot of time at the Blue Water Casino . He picked an rv out in aurora colo. Couple were snow birds here. So I copied their camping habits after they sold me their min win. So thxs for this little town . Hammer rented from the electrician family that was Parkers big electric.

When I drive the California side to the dam I always see burrows. You forgot to mention that the Parker dam is the DEEPEST dam in the world. Check the storyboards

Thanks for the memorable visit. In the mid to late '70s, I commuted daily on old Hwy 95 (and California Hwy 62, depending on traffic) between Parker and Lake Havasu City, where I lived. I loved the scenery but the traffic could be a bear, especially on holiday weekends.
My old commute road worked at MET for 15 years. You need to see the little MET museum

This is great! I've traveled up 95 from Quartzsite to LHC many times to see my sister who used to live there. I wish I had know about this dam road and taken that route before.

Hey Russ, you passed by the El Ranch Motel in Parker! My Grandparents owned it in the late 1950s.
Was your grandmothers name Faith or Faye?

@@bradleyr34 I ran a auto parts route back in the early 80's and would stay at the El Rancho and the elderly lady who ran at that time was so very nice but her name was Faith, probably after your grandparents owned it. thanks for the reply.
@@arizonapicker1836 yes, my Grandparents sold the motel around 1960. I hadn’t been back to Parker until last year. I remember swimming in the pool, but the pool is no longer there. Do you remember a pool in the eighties?

Did the S W years ago on 2 wheels. Loved the desert,cactus, and giant rock formations. If only closer to Ohio, lol. I feel fortunate that you can bring memories back. Happy 22 × 3.🥳🥳👍👍🙋♂️
We stayed at the Crossroads for 14 days at Thanksgiving. You can’t beat $5 a night to stay on the Colorado river. The burrows came through every day. 2 baby burrows were born while we were there.
My favorite drive.
I camped a few days at that five buck BLM campground a few years back. Just ten or twenty spots. But all right on the water. There's a host and pit toilets. Just past that there's a BkM office with maps and stuff.
Soon as that subdivision goes in, there'll be a bridge, shopping centers, and prices of everything will skyrocket.
We crossed the Colorado River from California to AZ today and landed safely with our Leprechaun and the Wrangler toad in the Havasu Falls RV Resort, gorgeous views to the lake. Too cool for school! (We have our t-shirts with us!) Granddaughter will be checking out the game store in Q shortly. She saved up all her pocket money for it.

Hi Russ! Loved this video on the Parker Dam Road. We visited Davis Dam not too long ago, but the Parker Dam area looks really nice as well. Loved all the drone shots of the river and the area below. We'll need to check it out sometime soon. Thanks for the great video!

Hi Russ. We love watching your video's and love the drone coverage. Lots in todays one which i enjoyed. Just to let you know, you are responsible in me buying a drone. Unfortunatly we arnt allowed to go anywhere to much and i dont like flying it around houses where we live, so it hasnt had much use. One day. Lol.
I sold my house in Vegas back in 2019, in large part because I had a feeling that the lake was going to dry up one day. There were just too many consecutive years of drought.
On this side of the river in California are you in San Bernardino or Riverside County it's all beautiful
will you ever do any thing about old western outlaws or lawmen in Arizona, there is a lot of history of that I n Arizona I’m told.?
