I never get tired of looking at the Arizonian skyline/horizon. Especially when the drone is up. But even sometimes at road level as well. Marvellous series of Utube videos. It's much appreciated Russ.
your videos put life back in my life!!!! great!!~ beautiful, so grateful for your efforts and your uncanny ability to add life to a desert and hence then to me.
That was a beautiful drive. You really captured the dam well, special area with the river so clear and mountains. Thanks for taking us along. Be safe. 🙂👍
Havasu Springs looks like a great place to put in a pontoon boat. Camp here and enjoy the water and all it has to offer for ten days. With the boat, can fish, dive, swim and party. Got me ready to enjoy Russ. Thanks for showing us this place.
🙋♀️Hello Russ! Take off Point Shoreline Camping offers beautiful views. Loved the aerial view showing how huge Parker Dam is, & how beautiful the area is.👍
Thankyou again Russ I love this video when I was a young girl we always went camping out on the Arizona size across from the in tank we called high isle I live on Maui now but this videos make me so home sick I grew up in lake havasu city
Always look forward to your videos. We appreciate it. Love the drone shots. We can't wait to some out there & explore. We think we will know how to get around Quartzite like a local! Keep up the good work.
We were just there late last month. Pulling a tiny travel trailer. You can not go across the dam pulling any type of trailer. We pulled off at the last minute and went down the take-off road to see the dam. We did see 1 sign on that top view point that said: "No parking longer than 72 hours. And no camping on the same sign." So what are you supposed to do do there if you can't sleep? Drink tea for 72 hours. Lol. I'd miss trees too much to live in that neck of the woods. So desolate and rocky there, our dog hated the sharp rocks. We camped down at Buckskin Mountain State Park just down the road.
Hi Russ, thank you for another great video! I have winter camped for four years on LTVA and BLM lands near Quartzsite, Parker, Earp and Lake Havasu City in my van and motorhome and often wondered what the roads off AZ-95 lead to. Now that you've shown me, I will visit some of these places before departing this part of AZ next month. Thank you very much for this video!
Oh my gosh!! I was just looking over a map last night and wondering what was around there. This was exactly where I was wondering about.... and boom.... I haven't even started watching this and it's already covering everything that I was curious about! This is fortuitous!!
Hey Russ! This is DEFINITELY one of my very first bucket list locations once I go full time soon! I’ll be spending a lot of time in Arizona anyway and I can see already Takeoff Point is a keeper! Thanks for taking us along! ~Jim~
Will be turning green in the NE soon. With gas on the rise a lot of people will be exploring closer to home., and revisiting last years RV'ER TV's travel logue. Always a winner.!! 👍👍🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🙋♂️
Fantastic visit to the secret spots along the road around Lake Havasu. Lake Havasu Springs looks very pleasant. All the scenery is truly gorgeous! I think we may try to get down there sometime in the next year. Lake Havasu City is one of my favorite resort towns. Thanks for sharing! Safe travels.
Hey Russ what a beautiful day to be out. My wife and I watch all your videos and throughly enjoy them. We were just thinking of what a great opportunity you occasionally come across if you had your new electric bike to take it out and it would let you go a little further down a trail. If you got really adventurous you could image track yourself with your drone as well.
Hi Russ yeah that used to be the main highway years and years ago going through there before they built the new highway I trucked many times through there enjoy your videos hope to meet you one of these days around Quartzsite or somewhere I always keep my eye open for your van my brother says he sees it cruising through Laposa I’ve seen it around Lake Havasu to
A local television station needs to pick you up. It'd be a hit!

Some people know about it... It is extremely busy on holiday weekends during the summer. But you are correct, it's nice a lot of the time.

Russ is mistaken about the camping at take off point. You can launch your boat and camp along the shoreline but not at the launch place. Sorry
Thanks Russ! Beautiful! Beautiful ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it

The 72 hours is for parking your car and trailer while you are on the lake. No camping there. Sorry
Russ drove past the sign that says " no camping"

Russ,, looks like Havasu has full pool on water?? What a beautiful secluded area!!
Gorgeous area. We took the tours a couple of times of Coulee Dam in Washington. Was told they stop doing tours after "nine eleven".
Parker Dam Road Back Country Byway? Why not? Let’s go …..🚐 ⛺️🤩
I line the line, “the journey never ends, it is just starting.”

Greets from europe
How's the gas prices hitting you while on the road.
❣️✌️✌️❣️
Russ I see you're allways by yourself, no companion? 🤔
☀️⚓️👍🏻😬🌻
Pretty sure no camping allowed at Take Off Point. Shoreline camping refers to the boat-in campsites up river
Why would you pay to pitch a tent and camp these days, too many get away with it for free!!
Accidentally hit the dislike button, ignore that FB message.
