I did an old fixed up Toy Land Cruiser (70’s Model or early 80’s) for a serious Flyfisherman. Drawers Cubby’s, & sleeping platform . It was like watch making ? Standing around thinking will this work if I do that ? Buy you knocked it out of the park Josh WOW! Looks great man! This kind of stuff gets you name out there ! Every time he opens that door he will hear “ Wow who did this “! And he says : Josh, NE Woodworks , Custom Cabinet Maker !
Awesome build! I’m working on starting my own custom cabinetry shop in my garage at the moment! Im still trying to dial in processes. I like how you use butt joints and the lamello for your carcasses; it seems like it saves so much time. I get caught up trying to overbuild using dados and rabbets and it eats away time and profit. I’ve been binge watching all your videos and the content is top notch!
Your the man! And I’m a keyboard warrior. lol. I’d like to see self closing hinges on the back facing cabinets. I’d be afraid that the owner might close the van door while the rear cabinet door is still open. Do they make self closing hinges for that application? Idk. Just a thought. Great work as always.
Hey what hinges did you use for those battery doors? I’m working on a kitchen right now with slim shaker doors my upper cabinets are 12” tall and most of them are going to be glass but normal 3 hole hinges won’t work. Trying to find some ideas that will allow the customer to still open the doors. Thanks, the build looks good wish I could do that good of work haha
Please go into detail on the next video about how you secure all of the cabinets to the van.
Nice work, vehicle cabinets and storage solutions for off road or overland is an over looked business opportunity.
Nice work!
This is like watching Jason from (Bourbon Moth)building the airstream interior .

Dados and rabbets are not necessary in my opinion. This is a much faster method and the cabinets are solid

Looks great man. Is this builder using nice plywood and then covering it with MDF?
