I'm based in Florida and the rate I'm being quoted for insurance is ridiculous it's impossible to start with these kind of rates I'm being told because there's a lot of theft of cargo and frequent storms in Florida is there any way I can go around this or anything I can do about this like possibly getting insurance from another state with my Florida registered LLC

Hi, this is great information. We partnered with someone who has been paying Progressive for a year at $1200 a month. He had a Penske truck listed on his insurance but never obtained this truck. Progressive told him that he needed to keep the full coverage on his policy at then Amazon rate, he was getting into Amazon Relay. 👀 I called the FMCSA and was told that they shouldn’t have don’t that.. they did the filing and stated the reason the full coverage needed to be on the policy was because they did the filings and that the FMCSA required the policy at the full coverage that Amazon required. You all be careful that you done get scammed! We are fighting with Progressive to get those 💵 back! Thanks for this info!

does it have to be a 26 foot or can I finesse the box truck with a 12 or 16 and then edit it on scheduled auto when you receive a 26 box truck rental?
I opened a second authority. I used a 2012 fi50 to activate it. You don't need to use a box truck. It can be anything.
You can use any type of vehicle?
@@proudafricanamerican7586 my friend did a Nissan Ultima. It was an old pos. If you just want to activate but not run until later you can also only get liability (no comprehensive). Also only get 750k in coverage. That's all you need to activate. The one million is what brokers want. FMCSS only asks for 750. When you are ready to start up your policy.

Will progressive trip if you change the vin when you up you’re coverage?
No. Get scheduled auto
Progressive won’t give you scheduled auto unless you have already been with them for a year… also truck can’t be older then 2005.
Won't the insurance company ask for the registration? Usually that's how it is with commercial insurance. If they can't locate a registration in the system, they'll more likely drop you.
thats where the vin number comes into play, use a cheap car... say your "moving parts in a 20 mile radius from where you live" and let that sit for 6 months, your authority will mature instead of paying 500-2000 month for box truck insurance

Question, what if your insurance doesn’t start until day 23, would you have to reapply ( pay again) or do you have more than 21 days to complete. Because I couldn’t find a truck I didn’t think I could get insurance. I submitted app for authority on Feb 1st. This video was right on time. I’m in So Cal, secured a good rate but all the truck in my area are out to Fed Ex and UPS.
Call the fmcsa to double check but 21 business days is the soonest I’ve heard 90 business days is the latest

@@TrucknOutTheBox Just got off the phone with FMCSA : you have 60 days after your 21days to submit insurance with no additional cost. After that time period you status goes from pending to dismissal, wherein you can still submit insurance with no additional cost. After that you would need to pay $300 and reapply. I was on hold for 30 minutes but they were very helpful.

But if I want to get active and start doing amazon relay my downpayment is $5222.88 what should I do? Show I get the first one to get active and change it to the next one or just get the second one
