Dedicated to inventors and their inventions, tonight’s episode features some of the best - as well as the oddest - products ever pitched to the Dragons, ranging from an invention designed to stop couples straying onto one another’s side of the bed to seasoned inventor Rupert Sweet Escott’s prototype pedal-powered aviation aid, and featuring the youngest ever entrepreneur to be backed by the Dragons in the Den.

I've bought this product, they are less than £5 now, it is brilliant! I don't have a trade, I just have a go and can do most things, currently undertaking a barn conversion (documenting on TH-cam too if you like that kind of thing). I sat here reading the comments and didn't see anyone say they've used it and what their experience was like, so I had to pipe up. It doesn't dry out, it's just chalk and compressed air/gas. It comes in handy all of the time. Buy one!

Clearly Peter isn't a DIY guy.. The beauty of this is that, it can work with any sized holes. You can't fit a sharpie through some holes to match due to the shape of the sharpie. The spray injection and florousent is a genius idea really. This is something I would buy and keep

Yeah, he was stupid for asking about a sharpie, but you can still place a tiny bit of paint on a bamboo skewer for the same effect. It's over-engineering something that isn't a problem.
@@WobblesandBean but that would mean you need paint at hand.. Something like this in your drawer is a win.. As whenever you need to hang day shelf, pictures to even people who work in construction, brilliant to have something like this. I see this like tape, something you just keep

IMHO Peter are trying to play strategy so the other dragons were going to out or maybe it's because the entrepreneur said that they had spent his life money for the develop the product
dragons den best episode, a lovely and humble couple, and I never seen peter jones offering lower equity than rivals dragon. Amazing episode, glad they chose debora.
Peter has offered lower than rival dragons a lot actually, in the medical company, him and Deborah offered 20% down to 15% when he got his money back whereas tej offered 25%
He knew he had to be competetive in this case as Deborah was right up their street with this product! I bet it pained him to do so but I'm sooo glad they went with Deborah!

I actually like this product. If it last a few years on the shelve without drying out. I think it would be something I would buy.
Peter's brighter than a lot of this comment section seems to think.
It's not that he couldn't see the potential of the product. Through his questioning, he was doing three things: first, testing the character of the pitchers to see how they handle some fierce questioning. Secondly, he was tactically making the product look less attractive to the fellow dragons, whilst thirdly hiding his own interest in investing.
He's not a builder, he's a shrewd businessman.
Deborah got the deal because she showed enthusiasm from the start. If Peter had not questioned its usefulness then he would have definitely got the deal

Dragons' Den started *FIFTEEN* years ago, and still, people think they can just wander in not knowing important facts and figures about the business they are trying to sell, absolutely amazing!.

This product will be used in DIY videos on youtube in some years! Not just in the construction side!
It's a brilliant idea. I think the best ideas are the ones that people realise they need, but never thought of them on their own before. Sometimes the dragons don't see the brilliance of ideas like that, glad to see that this one was different :D It's all about making life easier. The fact that they themselves are too rich to use some of these things doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't need them :D

Great idea, after 20yrs in construction I've had pencils, pens and sharpies fail or be to short, cant see the mark on the wall etc etc, great invention

the answer is not quite properly said "the sharpie is not good enough"
the right answer is - "this give the dot that you can directly drill ahead on it for the screw to go in" , in the case of the sharpe, the need to navigate to the hole or the side of the hole depth should be less to mark it with pencil or sharpie tip.
