I had a couple friends that worked at woods down in Oregon drove clear from Galena I tell you what they made good money back then that was 25 years ago thanks for the nice video I liked it take care and good luck hunting
I bought a "NEXPEK NC201 10-amp battery Charger" with the rejuvenation of old discharged batteries feature from Amazon. It has worked quite well for me on my dead Tractor and boat batteries. It has saved me several hundred dollars by saving old batteries that would not accept a full charge anymore. I just charge the battery up as much as it will take and then put the Pulse charger on the battery in the Pulse mode for a couple of weeks and when I checked it the charged voltage had risen from 7.5 volts to 12.8 volts on a deep cycle battery. I put it back on my 12 volt Farmall Cub and it works great now. The Pulse mode puts short pulses of 19 volts on the 12 volt battery which breaks down the sulfate plating damage inside the battery. I have used it on 5 batteries with all good results so far.
Just a thought, has your generator been cranked up to 8.8V so it actually charges the battery fully? Otherwise your charging system will never fully charge the battery and it will have a shorter life.
That was cool....thought you'd be riding the clutch to get through the goldenrod but the little cub did a great job. A creeper gear would be desirable for sure.
Excellent Video GENO :) also would start up tractor every 6 or 7 days also that my dad also uncles plus grandpa did for years and let recharge for 30 mins to 1 hour ! Do on 6 or 12 volt battery also on gas or desiel motor types helps out ! I don't know if you do handmill make chop feed from corn or grains for animal's like cows or pigs ! But if do use Handmill of PTO to run it but need 43 or more hp tractor with 550 or 1000 PTO speed run them and can rotate tractor each week doing a different tractor to recharge battery at full throttle engine does each tractor up 2000 RPM only need and that we did on three big tractors my late dad and Uncle use on gas and 2 desiel! If don't have Handmill GENO just do that 30 mins to 1 hour at 1000 RPM when park or not move! But in Winter Seasons you should do every 3 years on all tractors gas and desiel motor too and hope like helpfull hints to again! Also GENO :) hope lots Cold Crank Amps at 850 and 90 or higher number on Reserve Amps because battery last long longer in years plus recharge faster plus battery recovery on charger to or if got bust them ! Plus if sit not using them in vehicles too and hopefully help you to! 6 or 9 or 12 volt ones even Generator or Alternator !
Your clover turned out pretty well, didn't it? I just got done chopping 5 acres of that darn goldenrod and disking it up. I'll probably quit sneezing next march, haha. I'm thinking of Roundupping it once and for all.
8 volt battery is for a hard starting tractor that you can still charge it with the tractor's original charging system. 8 volt is a golf cart battery for a 48 volt cart.
The Lord was watching out for you to find that camera. That was a close call. The deer say "thank you"! And you can thank God for providing. The '48 Cub with Woods mower and duals. How good is that?
Could you have gotten any closer to that camera without actually destroying it? You should go buy a lucky lottery ticket! That Cub chews right through that stuff with no issues, animal of a machine given its size.
When will they build a battery that likes cold temperatures?!?! I mean, come on Elon!! You know feral cats are really good with gravy! I have no idea how you didn’t mow that camera! You got lucky on that!😂😂😂
That was in 1st? I thought you were in 2nd? I thought that a Woods mower deck was a clone of the original Cub? You would need that creeper if you had a flail mower or that fast hitch roto tiller.
Hey ya need ta get yer self a good pressure washer. I've got a 3500 psi and I use the crap outta it. Spray alittle super clean on and pressure it off. Really cleans great. Glad ya found yer camera without hearing thump bang oh shit there is was! 😂😅
@gusthefarmer5608 Well that's why I said spray it down with Super Clean then pressure wash it off. A dirty greasy engine will look like new again. Dilute some with water spray your car or truck then pressure wash it and boy does it do a job. Granted yes hot water makes a difference but the cost of those crap i can't afford one so I do the best I can with what I got!
@@FarmallFanatic I grew up on the farm with two 300 Farmall gas tractors. The " pulling" tractor had a narrow front, no power steering, and a standard hitch. The 300 under the F10 farmhand loader had a narrow front, but had powering steering and a fast hitch. We had a hay basket, or "bucker," to put up hay and alfalfa. My older brother and I talked my dad into putting on a wide front and getting a pushoff for the hay basket. Wow! We thought we were in heaven. Love your show by the way!

How can anyone not love this tractor! The duals really make this RED stand out!
There's something very satisfying about mowing with a classic tractor! I really like those duals. Very cool cub!
It rides really nice
You are absolutely right about losing the country if this election does not come out right!!
Unfortunately
@@FarmallFanatic yep..
I love the duals. The little tractor is awesome. Thanks for the video. See you later.
Thanks for watching
Love those duals on the cubbie!!
@@RoadRunnergarage8570 rides really nice 👌
Love the dual wheels on the Cub

The ole '48 sure did the job! Gino! You sure got lucky side swiping that camera and not chopping her up. Don't give me the skills routine. 😆
Haha yep luck
Looking forward to that auction..
Definitely

Im a one issue voting farmer.. i vote to keep my guns, all else can be sorted out later.
Lol this is true
Dictator on day one...
I wish I had a Cub. It would be more fun to mow with than my 26 hp Cub Cadet
She and they want to keep your guns too!
@dieselwrencher nope..you're misinformed.
Thanks Ron! Great video!
A well maintained Cub is still an efficient and effective tool for a lot of jobs.

I still can’t get over how boss the duals look on that cub 😂 something about the tiny tractor with duals is just cool.
It rides way better too
She's running smooth

Nice, Tose cubs are awesome and affordable too it seems.
I'd ask three thousand for this one
Duals not included
I didn't think you were going to make it getting the camera and you did! 💥RED POWER💥
Just a thought, has your generator been cranked up to 8.8V so it actually charges the battery fully? Otherwise your charging system will never fully charge the battery and it will have a shorter life.
That's a good question. I'll throw a meter on it and find out
6 volt systems typically charge at about 7.5 volts, so it will not charge that battery properly
That was cool....thought you'd be riding the clutch to get through the goldenrod but the little cub did a great job. A creeper gear would be desirable for sure.
I bumped the clutch a few times lol
enjoyed the video. Always a gremlin

Let's go. Let's mow. 👍🍻
Some real tall stuff lol
@FarmallFanatic taller than the tractor.
That was mighty nice of you to mow that nice big path this way the poachers don't have to fight their way through the golden rod
No they just get to fight me
Interesting video 👍 I didn't know there was such a thing as an 8volt battery 😳, really nice responsive governors on that little Cub 💪💪 Red Power 💪💥
New throttle spring helps lol

@@FarmallFanatic was duals a factory option for this tractor when it was new?
Cub for the win!

I like topping batteries off with epson salt and water mix. Usually getting around 10 years out of most my truck and tractor batteries.
How often do you run the machines

Yea, but the bottom somehow never ends up on top

Hope you didn't take the cub with the plow out for an overhaul just yet. i hear tons of lake effect snow in Erie area.
Mainly Erie Lakeshore....we got about a foot in 3 or 4 days here
My cousin just bought a deere. He was so proud Till i told him its not red power. Need to get red power. How many acres do you have if i might ask.
I try not to do more than 150 with these old antiques
2 extra volts for the two extra tires. 😂
😅
Had you considered putting battery cutoffs on your tractors??
Absolutely.I have them sitting on the shelf
Ross the Oliver Man uses them on almost all of his tractors.

Yes
