Thats literally the unit in my back yard. it's 32 years old, r22 and still runs with a 40 deg evap sat temperature.. Everytime im out with my dogs i hose it down.. And this is it's 2nd life it was a customers AC I removed.
Always allow clients options. If it’s repairable that has to be an option. So many companies think if it’s more than 10-15 years old it’s a replacement, same with furnaces. We need to have more of a conscience when we do service. Not every person has the means to replace repairable appliances. Good job Joe 👍👍🇨🇦
You da man - helping a damsel in distress get her cooling and for the kids !!!! Cleaned the unit for superior performance and efficiency !!!!! You are the difference for a technician and a piece of crap hack tech !!!!! Get the job done honestly and fairly !!!!! Good Karma comes back around and rewards you !!!!! 😃🥳😸💖💯👍👍👍🎰💰💸
We have a contrator in our area thats very good at selling nee units instead of fixing anything. This company claims to be a service company, but really puts it to customers when they replace stuff. Their reputation goes before them now. Ive had several new customers double check who i worked for before they would even let me into their homes due to such poor experiences with said company. You and work on the same plane as far as customer service is concerned. Great job!
There are more HVAC Hacks out there than Reputable and Qualified HVAC Techs like you and the Company you work for. Keep up the Strong 💪 Efforts. Thanks! 👍🙏
Thank you for treating your customers with honesty. No wonder you get a customer for life. There are cheap customers, that want to nickle and dime a system, but like you said, it's not your money or problem.
I live in Southern California and we have a couple of companies out here that do the same. The service technicians make just a couple of dollars an hour, and their job is to condemn the equipment and they do work on commission. Commission work only takes an honest person and makes them dishonest. Good video more companies need to be exposed for what they do. I always tell the customer the name of these companies.
GF had this problem last Thursday. Is a 98 carrier. The unit at my place is a 89 Lennox. I rent that house to my family. No complaints with r22. Nice work, kindness is a lost art apparently these days. ❤ Also, grandma's are the best so you gotta treat em good!
Well done brother We have to take care of our own Good deed I say Thank you 🙏 for helping them out. We are old school and respectful not just leave someone with no air when compressor and lines are solid greed kills and karma comes back stay safe 🙏
❤ man I have seen some dirty ones but that one was the worst I ever seen!!! Could have growled a garden in that one … nice job making an old unit look near new..
So many company's nowadays are into just selling new equipment and junk extended warrantees and not being honest and doing the repairs. The trades are in real trouble us older techs are checking out and no one to fill your shoes.
They even went and took the lubrication access holes off and are closed off so you can't maintain them even the slightest. What logic other than greed would support that. "Make em buy a new one!" 😢
I like that you do it the right way you don’t try to rip people off

I hear you man. I got a 28 year old lennox heat pump that works great. Never leaked an ounce of 22!
@@frankjackson1918 new stuff is crap now.
I picture those kids standing over that condenser dropping dirt on the running fan. “Oh cool watch it fly Ricky!”
I like that Klein socket set Joe.

Looks like you need a small shop vac or leaf blower.

Great job Joe. There is way to much condemning of equipment in the industry that can be fixed.
Thank you for being an honest technician

I admire your diligence and attention to detail.
Your cleaning methods are outstanding, as you take the time to do a great job.

I haven't been swimming in years! 😛
For as old and poorly maintained as that thing was, the startup didn't sound bad at all.

Good job getting this one going again There is no 410a system gonna last this long. R22 was the best.

their electrical bill must be astronomical
Good stuff, way to meet the customer needs!
I guess this one didn’t deserve your usual wax and shine… but looks a lot better overall.
Nice work
Always offer the customer options and they will keep your number on the refrigerator door to call you back again and to give to their friends 🇺🇸👊🏼👊🏼
Great video

Nice rubber covering your shoes you can keep that customer if you wash their car too nice job
Their Carolina rubber boots
no way. jimmy hoffa works as a used car salesman in cleveland.
You will never get quality service like that from one of these corporate America hvac companies that are taking over.
Remember back in the day when an electric motor would last for 50+ years!

I think it was the original motor from 1989
I agree 100% with everything you said. ❤🇺🇸🫡
