If Noah's not fishing he's working or making his own lures that to me is awesome keep up the awesome job your doing..ps give a shot out to Pop's and Colin
A trick for tying balanced leaches here out west is that we use slotted tungsten beads. Rather than use a brad nail to fix it in the front we double over some braided line and tie that off the front. Sinks fast and keeps the body nice and slim. Also, tell mister potato head I say hi.
I don't use the jighead for a couple reasons. When I use a jighead I noticed that I don't get the right presentation (the split shot presents itself before the jig since the jig is weighted). When I make the jigs this way they are weightless in the water so the bait will always be in front of the split shot. Also when I use the fly rod I don't have to worry about tying extra files, since the weightless jig can be use under a float or for swinging flies👍👍 thanks for the comment mark!😎
I like it, Noah! I haven't started this part. I'm think about when to start to tie my own flies. Thank you for your showing.
Definitely more effective that store bought lures, pretty fun too!

That would be nice for Beach Bass fishing in the UK. So much fun on a fly rod.
