    You've gotta hand it to EJ. He's certainly brought the leadership qualities out of Gengey and a few of the other lads. For such a load of 'bad boys' aka Genge, Sinckler, Farrell, Tuilagi there's been virtually no off-the-field stuff.

      Surely we have had enough losing practice in the last two seasons of six nations ? Played 10, won 4 & lost 6. And two of those wins were V Italy.
      We need to A) learn to win consistently, B) learn to pass left to right and C) learn how to make some line breaks. Playing badly & losing is no longer a ‘ learning curve’ for England.
      Over the last 5 six nations, in a combined table, we are 4th.
      The ‘ defeat is good’ mantra from the world’s highest paid coach, is him protecting his huge income.

    Felicitaciones a los Pumas. Great boys (!) you truly deserve a beer and a laugh after that performance. Please remember that families have paid a lot to watch you in these harsh economic circumstances and it seems that you do not care. Sad days when people like Itoje is celebrating a knock on and when Eddie states that this game didn't matter and that he is preparing for the RWC... This game did matter for the people who paid to watch it there, who travelled and stayed under the rain. EJ owes that little respect to the 80.000 strong attending Twickenham to cheer and enjoy it. Please do not take the fans for granted. He has done that on the last 6 nations and on the Babas... he should now be ashamed of his words

    • @somanytakennames
      @somanytakennames ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think you realise how many people who go to Twickenham don’t actually care about the game and go just to drink beer with their mates because they got corporate tickets.
      And to be honest, I’d rather England go through a rough patch now and start clicking during the World Cup. I can guarantee you if we win it then those who you claim to have been disappointed by the game won’t care.

    • @JoseRodriguez-dx7bf
      @JoseRodriguez-dx7bf ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sadly I do know... I can only afford to go to some of the Autumn internationals because of them. I love rugby, I was awful at it and I admired every aspect of the game, even the people watching it who are tanked and don't actually care about what happens in the field. I do not call a rough patch finishing on the bottom three consecutively on the six nations, having shockers on Autumn internationals, the babas and the Aussie tour and putting Curry at 8 saying that he will be the best centre in the world. Those are massive mistakes by the union with the highest paid coach and the the highest budget in Rugby

    • @somanytakennames
      @somanytakennames ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JoseRodriguez-dx7bf
      So you acknowledge that a large part of the Twickenham crowd don’t care about the game and you still said what you said?
      Winning all our games the previous two Autumn series and winning the series in Australia this year is a shocker is it?
      The fact that you can’t tell he was taking the piss out of gullible media folk with Curry being a centre tells me all I need to know.
      What does money have to do with anything? Can people who get paid a lot of money not make mistakes?

    • @JoseRodriguez-dx7bf
      @JoseRodriguez-dx7bf ปีที่แล้ว

      @@somanytakennames I think it is indeed. Australia had a less than sub standard team and we struggled. EJ is defo not joking when he puts Curry at 8, Itoje at 6 and Gengy as the first receiver. If you spent less time at the bar and more watching the game perhaps you would understand a bit about rugby
      I think money is important. There's a massive investment in Rugby but restricted too EJ and the England team. If there was some return this would galvanise lower tiers including funding for children and other areas which will benefit the game in its entirety. Take other sports as example. Tell Worcester and Wasps fans that money is not important

    • @somanytakennames
      @somanytakennames ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JoseRodriguez-dx7bf
      A series win overseas is a series win overseas. “Less than substandard” is a pretty disrespectful label for a team that’s clearly improving and not “substandard”.
      I didn’t say EJ was joking about putting Curry at 8, I said he was joking about putting him at centre. Which you very clearly took seriously. If you spent less time at the bar you’d have been able to read that ;)
      Did you also think he was being serious when he said he was going to move Jack Nowell to flanker?
      And what’s wrong with having Genge be at first receiver on occasion? He can clearly run the ball and has great hands for a prop. Having him be there potentially frees up the likes of Smith or Farrell to distribute when there’s more space. If there was any positive to take from the Argentina game it was the link play between the likes of Sinckler and Genge.
      Itoje at 6? He’s clearly capable of playing that position and if you have the opportunity to blood a new lock at 4, why wouldn’t you? One of the criticisms Eddie always gets is that he doesn’t pick new players, yet when he does it seems he’s doing something else wrong 😂
      For all your focusses on his negatives. He still possesses the highest win ratio of any English coach. He led us to our first grand slam in over a decade, won two other 6 nations after that, led us to being the 2nd team to have a perfect year and regardless of the result, led us to a World Cup final. Which you don’t achieve by being a bad coach.
      Have you ever considered that maybe, just maybe, the players need to shoulder some of the blame too?

    It was difficult to see you lose and to see the way some of the things unfolded but you can't win them all, hopefully there's a bounce back for this weekend and we can get to see everyone back to their winning ways.

    Scrum and lineout looked okay but work at the breakdown was awful, huge amounts of indiscipline. Plus the attack was static with no one running into the ball.
    It seems our forwards coach is doing an okay job but there seems a disconnect in the breakdown and attack coaching.
