Hi Vikram. The old 3.2L motor wasn't BS6 compliant, hence it had to be discontinued. We have a feeling that Ford will introduce the twin-turbo version of the 2.0L engine sometime next year or with the next-generation Ford Endeavour. Thank you 😊
I am sure there will be a larger-engined special edition of the Endeavour in the future. It will come at a significantly high price though... maybe even limited units.

As always neat job Vikrant. My very close friend bought the last gen endeveour, meaning the one with 3.2 ltr engine. We thought the new engine as feared won't come with twin turbo and would feel under powered. But little did we know it will have this gem of a gearbox. Now when I think I feel this was a better choice as 10 speed makes use of engine power more efficiently and sort of masks the lack of power. Plus added bonus of it being fast enough and go down or up few gears in one go Let's hope the arrival of gloster would make Ford get the twin turbo variant too

And I too was sceptical about the 2-litre diesel since I had spent a lot of time with the 3.2 and loved its ‘whooshing’ every time one pressed the throttle aggressively. The 2-litre isnt as entertaining but it is more usable, more practical, and of course, more efficient.

Please mention a little bit about the audio system. Do mention the surround effect, number of speakers and maybe the manufacturer of the entertainment system as well. A good entertainment system makes the ride more enjoyable.

Rather than cosmetic update a twin turbo should have been introduced to gain the lost ground, to such a capable vehicle... Clean and accurate review though 👍
In terms of 2nd and 3rd row space the Endeavour is definitely better than Fortuner but as u said we get a lesser powered 2L engine than Fortuner for a 40lakh price tag.

Well, now that you ask... I started with Overdrive way back in 2002 I think... then India Today / Aaj Tak / AutoBild , the ZigWheels, and now CarWale and BikeWale. Yeah yeah, I know I look younger than I am! :-)
If this engine were less noisy inside the cabin, there enough grunt for off-road and highway use as well. But yeah, more capacity never hurts. Apart from at fuel pumps!
As a toyota fan, it’s hard to ignore endy. But is it reliable? After 1,00,000 km,will it give me headaches or like Toyota, it will go on and on. Service charges of Toyota is always less than 10k after you cross 50k KM. Will it be the case with Ford? I don’t want to wait for parts or get hefty bills because if I wanted that, C class and 3 series are waiting.
Make of the Head Unit and drivers? Are these two pairs of component speakers in front and rear gates or simply speakers without cross over? How and where are these ten speakers fitted? Has it some external amplifier other than that of the HU? Regards!

If you are happy with the Fortuner, stick with it and buy the new one. If you want to try something different, the Endeavour is a great option. But the bottomline is - you can’t really go wrong with either.
Guess one has to pay for a car’s engineering, equipment, positioning and go anywhere ability... especially in our roads. But yes, a few lakhs less would most certainly be welcome.
Ford spoiled endeavour as a product by not launching this 2.0. Litre engine in higher state of tune. It's a pity because endeavour is far ahead of ride and fit and finish quality from Fortuner.
Basically, ford is cutting a Qtiya out of you by basically giving you an old wine in a new bottle. they could have said it is sports if they had increased the power significantly than the ongoing model but they had not unfortunately
Fortuner is third class stiff hard suspension. Bad ugly looks and poor interior in fortuner and bad handling poor breaking uncomfortable ride to. So according to me buying a fortuner is like buying a chinese phone instead of i phone or top class flag ship phone. Blindly go for the Ford endeavour guys. Ford endeavour is strong safe comfortable quite and you can enjoy every penny you paid for the pleasure. Toyota fortuner 👎🏻. Ford endeavour ❤️😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wouldn’t put the Fortuner down so much. There’s a reason it outsells the Endeavour that goes beyond the brand. Sure the Endeavour is better as an all round product, but the Fortuner, especially when it comes to the underpinnings, is build like a horse.
Beige makes your eyes read the plastic as being more upmarket than when presented in grey or black. Plus, it makes the car feel roomy. No wonder it is the popular choice, no matter which class of car.
Yes sir, you are absolutely right. The 2.0L motor makes less power compared to the 3.2L motor. But, the power feels adequate for the Endeavour. Thank you 😊

Thankfully for the Endeavour, that 10-speed comes to the rescue. And the 2-litre has a pretty flat torque curve as well.
Dude i got the 3.2 Disel engine.. it kills the fortuner.. ordering the F pace 2021. This car is not powerfull enough. 3.2 gives you a full punch...
