UPDATE!!! (as of 12/18): Tesla has increased the Model 3 referral discount to $1500 off! Model Y is $1000, S/X/Cybertruck are $2000! Make sure you take delivery by 12/31! Use my referral too: ts.la/kimberly23427
I don't quite understand their demo vehicle pricing. I think the discount should be steeper for demos personally (I like to floor it on a test drive, etc).
Do the numbers change , when you’re leasing the cars from inventory Tesla associate told me it’s better to buy a brand new car versus inventory ones as the difference isn’t a lot and at tops 100-200$
I've got no experience with leasing so I'm not too sure to be honest. And in terms of that Tesla employee, we bought our Model Y in February with a $5500 inventory discount, then $1000 Cybertruck reservation discount, transferred FSD for free. Inventory was totally worth it
Batteries...for the Model 3 it means it has an LG pack in it that doesn't qualify due to sourcing (and also happens to charge slower). The Model 3 that are eligible for the tax credit have Panasonic batteries that qualify (and also charge faster). Tesla produced both for a while and if you indicated that weren't eligible for the tax credit they'd match you with an LG pack.

In your example it was the exact same price and car for the demo vs unused vehicle lol

Why aren't some cars eligible for the 7500 rebate even though they are spec'ed the same as the ones that are?
