I LOVE that there are not so many windows! Wall space is much preferred. Great design. I'm seriously considering this one. The different levels and stairs are a bit challenging for me though. Thank you so much for showing this home!!!
This is a smart layout! I'm with you on the windows. They look awesome, as long as you're out in the middle of nowhere. But most likely, you're in a park with neighbors right there. Then I'd have to spend extra money for those reverse blinds, otherwise I'd feel like everyone is staring at me. (Or at least could stare at me).
@@3dchick agreed. what about those of us who like to walk around home in minimal states of dress but the neighbors are throwing a bbq next door? hahaha without the huge windows thats an option. also more wall space means more potential storage space.
💜 I Love!!! Especially that there’s a skylight **Instead of windows**. It helps with insulation, and the walls can be used for storage. I would **Remove** the microwave to use that space for, you guessed it, More Storage.
I love the design of this house! I would take out the loft skylight and closet space and shift the bed to a twin and make the entire back wall floor to ceiling wardrobe space. I’m just spit balling here, imagining what I would do with the space if it were mine. But this is a great house!
Mud room to enter the house with washer/dryer is nice. Lots of storage in the tiny house. The toliet cut out was a smart ideal to make the bathroom more roomy. But the bedroom not enough head room to sit up o the bed.
Just what I thought. They also built the loft bed up. I think it should be a thinner mattress (maybe gel?)designed for small spaces directly on the floor. Would add so much headroom.
I really like this home! But I have 2 young cats and a Conure parrot. I don't yet see a way to provide a safe place for my parrot, but I'm thinking maybe over the laundry area might be perfect. I'll rewatch the video and let you know. Thank you for reshowing the video. La
It feels like forever since I've seen anything from y'all. I think i was in yt jail😅. Anyways i double checked to make sure my notifications were on for your channel. i love the mudroom and the lack of windows. less windows means better heat/cooling costs, a lot of privacy and the feeling that you're inside. if the point of going tiny is to be outdoors more often, i want to feel like im actually coming into a home when im done for the day. Also, most tiny homes are out in the middle of nowhere and if a psychopath or even say a wild animal wanders past, they can usually see all inside these tiny homes cause they all have crazy huge windows. when i build mine its going to have those top thin windows that run just below the roof line and at least 3 skylights. I'll still get plenty of natural lights but no one at ground level will be able to see what im doing hahaha
Cute! Needs an egress window in bedroom, mini split, living room window, and air exchange device. So the price would have to drop to 75k for those changes. Would be a great ADU!!!
Lovely home! I could totally see myself living in this, as a single guy who eats and works by the couch, this is great! This design looks really familiar to another one, I think there was a design student that created a design very similar to this bout 2 years ago, really dig that washer/dryer by the entry/mudroom. My issue is the lack of a range hood, or a window. I really don't want odors sticking around and attaching itself to my furniture. Is this house solar ready? Great tiny home!
Thanks for watching. We forgot to mention the vent hood built into the microwave. It vents to the outside. Agree a window over the sink would be ideal. One could be installed. There’s not much room for solar equipment, but if you aren’t going to move it often, you could set something up once it’s in place.

We all love space for art but I'm surprised at the lack of cross ventilation. Feels a bit like a vault. I'm sure you could squeeze some small, narrow windows in for some fresh air (and to release smells and moisture!) Why not include a window that opens in the bathroom? Another one in the mud room and loft? Unfortunately this place is an odor and mold bomb waiting to happen.
I really like this design but it just needs to be bigger so each room can be a little bit bigger, plus would need a real dishwasher/dishwasher drawer. I had a countertop dishwasher just like that one and it was better than nothing, but not as good as an actual dishwasher drawer or dishwasher.
Cute tiny house. Washer and dryer upon entry is different. Really the only to put them. Too bad the upstairs you can't stand up. Another 8-10 inches would have made all the difference.
How odd, I just saw this tiny on another channel with the owner/designer. I don't know how old that vid was, but I recognized it the minute you opened the front door. I had no idea she was selling it. I assume it's been sold by now.
Yeah I guess that video is from 2020 or 2021 soon after she built it. It’s still available for sale… Contact us if you’re interested! www.indigorivertinyhomes.com/contact

I am the owner and designer of the house. The lack of windows was a personal design choice so I could prioritize my art pieces and wall storage (I wasn’t sure how much storage I would need going from an apartment to a tiny house, so I was conservative). However the way the house was built, it would be very easy and inexpensive to add in multiple windows if desired by someone wanting to purchase. Another reason was because I knew being parked in RV parks, my neighbors would be so close to me, and adding windows would limit my privacy. When you are in the space I promise it doesn’t feel as claustrophobic as people think just watching this video.
I need my own place, have been checking out the tiny homes, since the first ones I saw..I knew this is what I need... however I'm on disability,so I don't have a down payment, but if the owners would consider rent?
Yes, very claustrophobic feeling. A woman living alone would feel very vulnerable - unable to see outside to identify noises heard. No way would I want to live like that! It needs, at a minimum, two long windows (one on each side) up high enough to see out, but not low enough for anyone outside to see in.

Deep breaths! ❤️ We didn’t build the house so we’re not sure why there is no egress window in the bedroom, but we can totally replace that window with one that meets egress requirements…
I like the entryway but if you could do a stackable washer and dryer and take down that room divider there would be more room for more storage or to bring the couch down.
There are several of your models that I could see myself living in when the time comes to downsize...however, living in the model of this video for anything other than very short term would throw me into a deep depression. I saw no enjoyment except just existing
lol less than ten thousand for a picture window. Less than 10k is supposed to be some kind of selling point? I could buy a picture window and install it myself after the fact for 1000. Where are people getting these prices? Beautiful tiny home, but if your acting like less than 10k for a picture window is a deal, i dont even want to ask what the cost is for this entire house.
The last 5 years has brought serious hyperinflation unfortunately. It would be less than 10k but not by much. A large, good quality picture window cost $8k from the factory plus cutting a hole in the house to install it. You could get a smaller window to reduce cost…
That’s a hard no for me. It’s like a coffin ⚰️. No standing room in the loft and NO WINDOWS is major! If you aren’t claustrophobic, you will be after a few hours in that! The colors and and fixtures are beautiful though but no, no, no! Definitely not for me! If they take out the wall directly in front of the couch and put a sliding door or French door there and another window behind the couch it would be ok. Probably need to close off the main door too if you’re going to do that. But then still no walking space in the loft. 🫤
