Nintendo intentionally holds back content, promises to release it at a later date, sales are predictably low due to lack of content, thus updates are shelved and delayed because “there’s no player base”, and eventually they drop an update 6 months after release adding content that should’ve been there in the beginning, rinse and repeat. I don’t understand how anyone can think releasing a 50% finished game is acceptable. I don’t blame Next Level Games, because they’ve shown time and time again that they are fantastic developers. The problem lies with Nintendo, and it’s outrageous that they pushed NLG to release this when it wasn’t done yet. And to top it all off, they slapped a $60 price tag on this. How do people defend this?
@@vorpalblade6525 "How do People defend this?" Did they? The Metacritic Ratings shows, that nobody defend this. There will always be a few exceptions. But the overall Rating shows, that not much People defend this.
Something people tend to forget as an argument against the free updates on consoles. The cartrige doesn't get updated, so when nintendo will decide to close their server for the switch, if you have uninstalled the game and want to play it again you will be stuck with the 1.0
What should have been done: -add more characters -bring back the Kremilings as goalie, even add another character for goalie -bring back field harzards, make them optional -add more interesting animations with attitude for the characters -include a story mode of some sorts

I played the First Kick demo and thought the gameplay was pretty good and the animations were top-notch, but Nintendo really needs to ditch this "free update" thing because all of their sports games have been criticized for it. Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Golf Super Rush and Nintendo Switch Sports all suffered from it.
Recent (2017 to the present) Mario Party video games have been suffering the same issue, except that most of them don't even *_*get*_* free updates or paid DLC post-launch (aside from the _Super Mario Party_ video game title; but that was *_only ONE_* free update, and it was *_just_* for the ability to play online with friends/random strangers). 😑
I blame only Nintendo for this, and not Next Level games, because Nintendo bought them out, and I mostly only see the problems with Mario sports games happen when they are heavily involved. I'm sure that if Next Level games had more freedom to develop the game, that it would have less of those problems, and it would have so much more polish and awesomeness in it.
@@INFERNO95 maybe, but I still think they had little choice, Nintendo is richer than NLG, and now that they own them, they have a heck of a lot more control over them.
That would actually explain a lot about the overall toned-down feel of the game. The smaller fields based on various modern Mario locations, some of the character animations (how Peach calmed herself down in her losing animation is a very Japanese way of doing things compared to the western way of throwing a tantrum like she did in Charged and DK pouting, sitting down and eating a banana instead of his very in character way of banana slamma-ing the ground in anger like in Charged to name a few), The lack of epic-ness in the hyper strikes compared to the Mega Strikes, Boom-Boom being the goalie, and just the overall edginess and grit. I feel like the edginess and grit was something NLG was good at, but Nintendo just wanted to keep things normal, for the most part.
@@INFERNO95 next level games were paid to make a game with specific rules by Nintendo. They obviously can’t ignore ninetendo’s rules and do whatever they want. This 100% goes on Nintendo’s trend of making games so barebones
The Smash bros analogy summed up everything I thought about this game perfectly. It just feels so empty and soulless, something that strikers seemed to be working AGAINST in the gamecube/wii era
I played this game nonstop the first weekend and haven’t gone back to it since. Between switch sports and this, I have blown over $100 on games with nothing to do in them! Congrats on 25k by the way, can’t wait for your sonic videos!
I think I'll play switch sports when golf comes out then prob not for years. But strikers as much as I want to like it I can't as its just repetitive fun but not enough
It’s actually insane how much money you waste on games you don’t play. Like I have so many games I bought that I only played for a while then never went back to. Just imagine how much more I would have saved today if I was only a bit more sensible with my money instead of just buying whatever had Mario on the front cover. Nintendo how tested my tolerance for far too long and from now on I’ll never buy another sports game as they’re just a waste of money. I’ll stick to the mainline titles like super Mario odyssey or botw. It’s crazy how easily a new game can simply sway someone into buying it just because we as Nintendo fans always want something new because we can’t stick to a game for longer than a few hours
@@stevenmcburney8167 I know. I have learned to just not buy any sports games because I have been burned on 2k and fifa, but I thought the nintendo made ones would be better.

Before the game’s release, I played a good 3 hours of the online test fire and felt like I experienced pretty much everything. I ended up not buying the game💀
It's an arcade game, all the matches are different, cuz everyone have different skills, the teams are build different etc. Is like saying you don't want to play a fighting game cuz you already played all the match ups, Mario strikers is not a game with progressing on a story or something, it has been always a fun arcade soccer game, I played the demo and really had a lot of fun playing, after the beta ended, I had such a fun time with every match that I wanted to keep playing more, wanting to master all the mechanics and that kind of stuff, that's why is a repayable game, cuz it's an arcade game. Like the previous ones.
@@elchristrejo882 except in fighting games, each character has a distinct fighting style that sets them different from the other characters. Also, there are only 10 characters, and 5 stages. That is 10 characters less and 12 stages less than the previous entry. This shouldn't be $60
the best word to describe this game is invariable the ost is invariable the characters are invariable the stadiums are invariable the modes are invariable this game lacks any signs of variety, its the total opposite of it, and considering that charged was one of the most varied and unique mario games just makes this even worse

I agree with the sidekick bit. I was so sad to see that mechanic go and really wish they hadn’t taken it out. It makes the game feel more generic now that I can’t have a team of hammer guys with a Waluigi captain. There were so many choices that you could make for team building that I feel this game lacks.
Wow! I feel so HEARD with this review. I WANT to enjoy this game, and I WANT to be hyped for it, but I can't. They exchanged so much of Strikers' personality for Battle League's visual presentation that it lacks the substance that made Strikers unique. Strikers' strongest selling point was its tailored features for each character/stage, so why Battle League didn't focus on improving that more is baffling. I understand that time, budgets, and maintaining a consistent vision for a game are all constraints a team will face on any gaming project, though as you inferred, it's been a 15 year wait, so expectations need to be met. - Kyle

I really, *_really,_*_ _*_*really*_* like the idea of only using Yoshis as your outfielder players in a match as one of the achievements! (The same thing applies for only using Toad as your outfielder players in a match as one of the achievements.)
I also share the same issues with Strikers Battle League since it doesn't give a variety of ways to play with the unique character abilities and items when compared to Strikers Charged. Strikers Charged even had more gameplay options you could unlock by doing the 12 challenge modes. It's just a shame that Battle League will likely fall into the same hole as Aces and Super Rush with having all the base content added as "Free DLC". DLC is good if the base game is already good enough with content and provides variety, not if it's bare-bones. Good video as always Infinite Bits! 👍
The biggest Problem I have with battle league is the sound design and personality of the characters. Yes it is rocky and sounds good. But compared to charged? Every Character had his own Winning and Loosing Music. We had a Luigi that was not shy or anything. He was a Mexican that was happy all over. And Waluigi was a weird farmer. Which awkwardly fit him. And Peach. She wasn't shy anymore. She was a pure B*tch and behaved like an arrogant Supermodel. That was amazing.
Good, talking about the shitty and bad stuff Nintendo more and more often Also that Smash Bros analogy was perfect, I'm gonna use that to explain to people why this is limited content is stupid
I missed out on Strikers charged growing up so I haven't even played one since the gamecube which I still loved. This is one of the most disappointing releases to me, waiting for so long for a game that just isn't finished. I enjoyed a lot of the same aspects you did but there's just nothing here it's sad. I think drip feed content can work when the game has enough polish and content ON LAUNCH, and can be great for extending a games lifepsan, but this might be the best example of it being done wrong. A rushed game with almost nothing to do. It sucks and I hope we see another strikers someday but I fear this might kill the series.
Great job man! I gotta agree on these points, even as someone that loves strikers, the game is really lacking and it makes me upset to see since I also loved playing charged as a kod growing up. At least the series isn't completely dead though, thank God lol.
You mentioned it, and for me, one of the biggest problem is the simplification of the gameplay by removing the character specific dodges... The only addon is the ability to push your team mates (which is a good addition), but so many aspects got removed... Also, the fact that they removed character specific charged shots, like toad shooting a fire ball, or drybone electrifying the ball which stuns the goal keeper, and so on...
@@chaosthemultiversesamurai4544 They made a strikers game that feels as plain and mediocre as a plain yogurt cup and is as empty as a solitary confinement room. But you want to say that they're over dramatic? I think not! Plus, the only things that were exciting was the intro, hyper strikes, and animations, but the things that killed the game was the lack of sassy and angry attitude in the game, no scars or bruises to give off that grittiness, laggy online play, and no walu-weenie! Honestly, this game is so boring and sanitized to the point where it doesn't feel like itself anymore. Not to mention that the girls can't even get away with their short shorts, their crop tops, or their bratty and competive natures! They neutered and spayed all of their personality. Now don't get me wrong, it still has some personality and charm, but it pales in comparison to Charged back in FRICKING 2007!
Oh boy! I can't WAIT for the inevitable Mario BASEBALL game on Nintendo Switch to do the EXACT. SAME. THING. Oh and bets on Piantas, Nokis, or ANY Kremling characters not coming back even though they were in the Wii game because Nintendo has some hidden vendetta against them? I mean we KROCKED the vote to get King K. Rool back (in Smash Ultimate) but can we honestly expect him or Kritter or anybody of that crew to come back in these spinoff games these days? I don't HATE free updates... I just hate how it's being executed by Nintendo in recent years. It's like they think every Mario Sports game should be like Splatoon and Splatoon 2 when... That shouldn't BE especially considering the kind of game series Splatoon IS... And even then I'm sure they did the whole "free update" model better.
@@Avrgharufan I’ve been saying this for awhile. He will either block EVERYTHING like he was born on the soccer field or miss shots from half field as if he was day dreaming
Spot on. I got bored with this game in like 3 days or so and it seems like online was dead cuz it took forever to find matches online. Nintendo has been deading their new mario sports games with these "free" updates. People play the sports games for a day or so and see how barebones they are and just leave. Happened to tennis, happened to golf, and now is happening to strikers. I was really hoping nintendo would actually care about strikers cuz its such a beloved game, but nope just another half made sports game with "free" updates.
2:26 I don't know how you missed this but slide tackle never left. Its now a perfect tackle. You have to charge and time it right to get the slide tackle. What is with people not playing the tutorial and talking about this game
This is honestly one of my favorite videos that you made. I laughed so much. You deserve a lot more views and subs. Also I will probably never get battle league tbh
You’ve made the best video on this topic, showed exactly how Nintendo took a HUGE SH** on this beloved sports franchise. They should totally just redo this game, Mario’s strikers battle league DELUX.
I’m in the same boat. Charged is my favorite Mario Sports title and I’ve wanted a new one for a long time, but with this I’ve played like, 6 hours and dropped the game. Because there’s literally nothing to hold my attention, and I think you covered why beautifully.
Solid video as usual ! I'm pissed they keep on releasing unfinished games nowadays, Nintendo keeps on going downhill (as I expect them to push the developpers to release an unfinished game)
My wife and I have only just bought a switch last week and got this second hand. There was an update which gave us 16 players instead of the 10 that were on the initial version. I didn’t play the original but we are enjoying it so far 🇬🇧
This was a great review and put all my thoughts into one video. This practice of releasing a half-baked game and fixing it later is getting old. No Man's Sky didn't have a choice since they were somewhat under pressure from Sony and it was a 10 man indie game studio. There are no excuses for Battle League here. Nintendo chose to do this, and this is not Next Level Games fault at all. Luigi's Mansion 3 was at least a finished game when that released, why not the same here? It makes no sense
the slide tackle is there in the form of a perfect tackle or whatever. I liked it the old way better too, but yea, you misspoke there cuz you can slide tackle. but yea, solid video man, yea it's definitely lacking, but I still love this game. That main song before you hit A to the main menu perhaps makes up for more than it should with how dope it is! haha. I would still give this game an 8 in it's dissapointing state. I hope it reaches 9 level with that DLC.
13:34 - This scene was giving me Angry Video Game Nerd vibes. (Kinda felt weird to not have it end in an elaborate swear-filled rant or something, but still amusing.)
This game succumbed to Nintendo’s Free Update Model. Nintendo has begun releasing so many games without enough content and saying that there will be “Free Updates” which are updates of content that should have been in the game AT LAUNCH.
Whoever you are mate, you absolutely nailed it... I wanted to love this game so much, maybe some miracle will occur and they'll be an almighty download update to include , y'know, a more complete / finished version... I've said it before, in the name it has 'Battle League', however, I cannot create a league in the game!?
Yay! finally a video describing exactly how i feel! THey shouldve honeslty just released the exact same mario strikers charged into the switch with better graphics and i wouldve been happier.
The slide tackle isn’t gone, you have to do a perfect charged tackle like u would a shot n it will slide tackle instead and give you possession of the ball
What if for the roster it used a salary system, say you have to draft a team with 12 salary points and draft 4 players based on a 5 point tier to 1 point tier with the 5 point tier being the captains like Mario which have better base stats and the 1point tier is the characters with the worst base stats like goomba. Also what if their was different goalie options with different stats/play styles like bring the critter back and make Pianta a goalie
It’s by far the worse of the Mario striker games. Idk why they put such little effort into the gameplay and content. Guess it’s because they know their fans will buy anything and sell it for a whopping 60 bucks when it should be 15 at most
Thank you for this review. I’ve been looking to buy this game but when I was watching the E3 Release it seemed..dull and lifeless. I figured I should check out some reviews. To see if it was worth it but….Nintendo got rid of all the fun honestly. My dad loved playing Mario Strikers Charged with me as a kid. I wanted to buy it for the nostalgia so we could play it together but I rather boot up my wii and put in Mario Strikers Charged. I’m not wasting any money on getting this game.
Mario Strikers on Switch has the potential to be good but failed to do so because they lack the boldness from old entries. I knew Striker Switch wouldn't be good because of the Free Update model and that Switch is made for casual games. Even if Sequel Gap tell that they are desperate to gain quick buck, they can be a good thing because they let them think what make the game good in the first place. The gaps are, at the end, unimportant. I don't care if Striker come early or not, I want a good, flesh-out game! Let it come naturally!
Slide tackle still in the game dude, if you make a tackle right when the arrow finishes to charge, you will make a perfect tackle that is the slide one that automatically gives u the ball
I was in the shower hearing you ranting on how awful this game turned out Infinite Bits and have to say, I agree 101%! 🚿 Growing up with the Mario Sports franchise back in Middle School, they were part of my childhood as I would always play them on my GameCube while my mum helps me get dressed before class early in the morning to even playing a few matches here and there before bed. Have to say, this was quite a disappointment for sure. 😐 The gameplay definitely seems to be missing 50% of its charm than the previous Mario Soccer games at their finest as it reminds me of the Mario Party Advance game that only has a handful of characters similar to the first 2 Mario Parties. Not sure if Nintendo is slowly running out of ideas which worries me most as the wouldn't be any Mario games outscoring Super Mario Oddysey to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate & even Luigi's Mansion as they aged so well that they're one of the most memorable games I've ever played! 🎮 *In conclusion:* I would have to pass on buying this game after playing the original on the GameCube as it definitely doesn't have that sassy vibe the characters used to have and believe it should cost around $30.00 as it lost half its charm. *PS:* As a Princess Peach main in most Mario games, I miss Peach acting all sassy and having a backbone as she has quite the personality a damsel in distress would have similar to Fiona's from Shrek.
Let me just say, I miss the fact that every character had a theme in strikers charged, and I must say...I MISS MY WALUIGI BANJO!!! (His theme was one heck of a banjo song)

Yeah...Charged had TWENTY characters. The switch game should have had at least 24 off the bat. And the amount of content in Charged at least. It's so bad. Plus the tournament mode in Charged was actually good and felt so cool. Plus you could unlock interesting "cheats" by doing challenges.
I really like Mario tennis aces and the character updates didn’t bother me, online being tied to tournaments was the one thing that made it impossible to play after a while. Super Rush felt a bit weirder since they didn’t add a lot the odyssey course was great and the characters were fun but it felt a bit lacking. I don’t even know what they updated for battle league because I really don’t care to play the game again. If they changed one or two things I don’t think I would mind but the stages are nothing, the gear can make characters extremely broken, I had to try to miss shots with Rosalinas curve shot and I would still get a goal anyway. I think they had a good idea with the hyper strikers but the items just felt annoying to pick up for me. I hope they make another entry in the future that’s closer to what the originals were. It would be cool to see these characters as captions and see what sidekicks they could add like Luma or newer creatures from Odyssey and wonder

When they charge for the dlc it’s mostly worth it anyways, look at Torna which is a 30 hour campaign, Botw dlc which I’ve heard is great and even Octo Expansion. I’m not saying this is a great practice, but the updates for this game will definitely be free. Unless they’re planning on adding something massive, it’ll be free fs.
Nintendo has a bad habit of stripping new games of content that was their in older games and selling it back to you as fee updates
I’m so incredibly sad that this is another rushed sports game. The Wii version had so much content and personality and this game feels like a rushed job. If you want an amazing strikers stick with the Wii version until they update this massively. Cmon Nintendo your better than this!

"How do people defend this?"
Because Nintendo.
Oh, no, the game is totally done. They just don't want you to fully play it yet.
@@vorpalblade6525 "How do People defend this?"
Did they? The Metacritic Ratings shows, that nobody defend this. There will always be a few exceptions. But thats basicially for every Game (Good Games that have some backslash from Trolls. Or Bad Games that have some niche Fans here and there). But the overall Rating shows, that not much People defend this.
@@wilkobadberg5272 but the critics who reviewed this were way too nice to it giving it 9's and 10's
People who develop and make video games just stopped trying. I wish they would get fined for this
Something people tend to forget as an argument against the free updates on consoles. The cartrige doesn't get updated, so when nintendo will decide to close their server for the switch, if you have uninstalled the game and want to play it again you will be stuck with the 1.0
I know man its beyond a joke
Thats a good point. I never realized that
What should have been done:
-add more characters
-bring back the Kremilings as goalie, even add another character for goalie
-bring back field harzards, make them optional
-add more interesting animations with attitude for the characters
-include a story mode of some sorts
That's not Camelot! This is NextLevelsGames, my dear! You were mistaken!
@@SuperPlacido1 Yeah, I realized that and made a few edits.
Everything except for the first one you listed are almost impossible to happen
@@therandomguy2212 And why's that?
@@SuperPlacido1
-Nintendo haven’t done more donkey Kong representation for a long time
-field hazards can’t be added because the stage halves are supposed to represent your team, and the core gameplay is based on Super Mario Strikers. Which also has no hazards.
-they already have to do animations for the post characters.
-cup battles is basically the story mode
Nintendo don't care about the spinoff games. There just filler to them.
The gameplay comes off way too choppy and segmented
NLG get blame too cause they made this sucking up to Nintendo.
You want integrity? In 2022!?!

That simile to Smash Bros summarized this Mario Strikers extremely perfectly.
Strikers charged is also my favorite mario sports game and when battle league was announced, I thought it would be a guaranteed purchase for me. Before the game’s release, I played a good 3 hours of the online test fire and felt like I experienced pretty much everything. I ended up not buying the game💀
I could tell just from the trailer that this game would be just mere shell of its predecessors
Like the previous ones.

the best word to describe this game is invariable
the ost is invariable
the characters are invariable
the stadiums are invariable
the modes are invariable
this game lacks any signs of variety, its the total opposite of it, and considering that charged was one of the most varied and unique mario games just makes this even worse
They really pulled a Tekken 7 with the OST, but with Rock n' Roll instead of Dubstep
Tekken 7 ost has way more variety. You got orchestral, heavy metal and edm
@@goGothitaLOL ah I remember that game
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SERIOUS???? every game has its style of music. if thats the case, animal crossing new horizons ost in invaribale.
secondly, there is still one thing that varies, gear. gear allows for lots of different stat lines.
@@tubbyidk1474 yes I am serious sir, and I can explain my stand on this if you please, while yes I do agree that some games have a specific style of music like new horizons but at least in those games they use different instruments, not every single song in new horizon uses the same lead.. etc, in strikers case my problem isnt that it uses metal for every single song because I think that it can work, no my problem is that they all have the same instrumentation which makes them all blend together and I ended up remembering non of them
second: when I described the game as invariable I didnt mean every single aspect of it, thats why I listed them because the animations for instant are quite varied from one another
and at the end of the day im not forcing my opinion on any one, if this game makes you have an orgasm each time you boot it up to the point where you defend it like if its your wife im not going to try to change your mind, we are just sharing our perspective
Dont blame next level. Knowing them, they would have gone all out if they could. Blame nintendo for rushing them to put out the bare minimum.
I f**king hate battle league for all my life with the Nintendo switch 🤬🤬🤬
I agree with the sidekick bit. I was so sad to see that mechanic go and really wish they hadn’t taken it out. It makes the game feel more generic now that I can’t have a team of hammer guys with a Waluigi captain. There were so many choices that you could make for team building that I feel this game lacks.
Something they initially added to likely give the game more variety, now its gone cause...reasons
- Kyle

Nintendo stops giving out review copies when people rate their games too low. It’s one of many reasons why they’re a bad company.
Yeah, and that's why you shouldn't trust the critic score of Nintendo games (and be critical of others that might also do it)
no fuckin shit sherlock its called marketing
Luigi's personality was Spanish, not mexican but yeah, strikers charged is superior than BL...
Good, talking about the shitty and bad stuff Nintendo more and more often
Also that Smash Bros analogy was perfect, I'm gonna use that to explain to people why this is limited content is stupid
Yay, another great video from the most underrated youtuber!
Thank you man!
Don't forget those sick a** soundtracks for every character in charged man I miss those times

It’s just so disappointing to see what this series as become…🙁

But you want to say that they're over dramatic? I think not! Plus, the only things that were exciting was the intro, hyper strikes, and animations, but the things that killed the game was the lack of sassy and angry attitude in the game, no scars or bruises to give off that grittiness, laggy online play, and no walu-weenie! Honestly, this game is so boring and sanitized to the point where it doesn't feel like itself anymore. Not to mention that the girls can't even get away with their short shorts, their crop tops, or their bratty and competive natures! They neutered and spayed all of their personality.

Awesome to hear, thank you!
This game basically should've gotten the Splatoon 3 Treatment.
This is such a problem with modern Nintendo remakes. Nintendo rather puts ahead on cutting a game to be simpler then expanding on the idea.

Hey thank you man, appreciate it! Looking forward to your review on it too!
Not having any stage hazards was a huge disappointment.. wtf were they thinking?
Solid video as usual !
I'm pissed they keep on releasing unfinished games nowadays, Nintendo keeps on going downhill (as I expect them to push the developpers to release an unfinished game)
It's feels like there's almost a full year of dev time it needed before it released
My wife and I have only just bought a switch last week and got this second hand. There was an update which gave us 16 players instead of the 10 that were on the initial version. I didn’t play the original but we are enjoying it so far 🇬🇧
it's sad that video game creators now fully embrace the DLC trend..
Nintendo’s mentality of release now finish later seriously needs to stop!
the slide tackle is there in the form of a perfect tackle or whatever.
Was so excited for this to come out. Then got super disappointed with lack of content. Glad I didn’t spend the 60 bucks tho
@Infinite Bits The slight charged version of the tackle is the slide tackle
Great video! You're so underrated. Keep on grinding! This makes my Saturday's enjoyable.
This got me more interested in the original Mario Strikers than Mario Strikers Battle League.
Articulated perfectly. How I feel exactly. I kept on thinking there had to be more to the game but its really just.....regular matches
Slide tackle still in battle league! You have to perform a perfect tackle to trigger it tho
13:34 - This scene was giving me Angry Video Game Nerd vibes.
(Kinda felt weird to not have it end in an elaborate swear-filled rant or something, but still amusing.)
AVGN is still the goat!
This game succumbed to Nintendo’s Free Update Model. Nintendo has begun releasing so many games without enough content and saying that there will be “Free Updates” which are updates of content that should have been in the game AT LAUNCH.
The core gameplay still looks significantly worse than both strikers and charged
Nintendo should do free updates if the game is complete and BTW great video.
if you get a perfectly timed charged tackle you get a slide tackle, it's still there just harder to pull off!
Bro your channel is so underated
Thank you bro, glad you like the vids!
Whoever you are mate, you absolutely nailed it... I wanted to love this game so much, maybe some miracle will occur and they'll be an almighty download update to include , y'know, a more complete / finished version...
I've said it before, in the name it has 'Battle League', however, I cannot create a league in the game!?
there is a slide tackle you have to perfectly charge up the tackle and release at the right time
The free update model and drip feeding should be illegal at this point. I'm sick of it
What an accurate review, keep up the good work mate!
Yay! finally a video describing exactly how i feel! THey shouldve honeslty just released the exact same mario strikers charged into the switch with better graphics and i wouldve been happier.
man...i used to play mario strikers charged with my brother when we were kids, and we had so much fun with it. look how they massacred my boy 😥
This is exactly what I've been saying to people justifying this mess of a game
This is the only game I've been playing almost done with galactic mode. A few more characters would be good but love the gameplay
People who are giving this game 8's and 9's out of 10 are probably the same people who've never played the first 2 games.
Let it come naturally!
i waited 15 years for this damn video, finally some new infinitebits
you know nintendo could do something like switch sports and make some characters only unlockable after online play to make this game even worse
Slide tackle still in the game dude, if you make a tackle right when the arrow finishes to charge, you will make a perfect tackle that is the slide one that automatically gives u the ball
hahaha what shade of green do you want your graaaass. great!! also i know im not paying a cent till daisy is a playable character period.
Execute a perfect tackle und you have your missing sliding tackle. Ohter than that, you nailed it.
i remember in the first one you could add tilt to the arena and make it interesting like that
The gameplay I do believe is improved in this game, but yeah they really didn't add much in it which is too bad
I was in the shower hearing you ranting on how awful this game turned out Infinite Bits and have to say, I agree 101%! 🚿
Growing up with the Mario Sports franchise back in Middle School, they were part of my childhood as I would always play them on my GameCube while my mum helps me get dressed before class early in the morning to even playing a few matches here and there before bed. Have to say, this was quite a disappointment for sure. 😐
The gameplay definitely seems to be missing 50% of its charm than the previous Mario Soccer games at their finest as it reminds me of the Mario Party Advance game that only has a handful of characters similar to the first 2 Mario Parties. 🎮
*In conclusion:* I would have to pass on buying this game after playing the original on the GameCube as it definitely doesn't have that sassy vibe the characters used to have and believe it should cost around $30.00 as it lost half its charm.
Nice vid bro! This video deserves more likes and views. I watched other reviews and this is the best one. 😌
Sigh, well now we'll have to wait a year when they release all the rest of content to have a good predecessor
Just went and bought this yesterday, was disappointed when it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered what Charged was, but it still is fun to play
I like how he tries to bring the positives for this game but then goes back to the regular matches. Happy times gone bad. Earned a sub just for that part XD
And the little glow ball mechanic that was in Mario strikers charged is actually in the game it goes from like a purple to white/blue.
imagine for a second how HYPED i am rn. I don't have the switch and you just made me understand that the wii game is actually a sequel and not just a port!! I've been in love with the gamecube version for years and didn't know there was an upgrade. i hope the wii emulator translates ok to xbox controllers. LETS GO
Don't worry the characters that you want are coming maybe in 3 months but thanks for buying the game now for $60
Yeah...Charged had TWENTY characters. The switch game should have had at least 24 off the bat. And the amount of content in Charged at least. It's so bad.
Plus the tournament mode in Charged was actually good and felt so cool. Plus you could unlock interesting "cheats" by doing challenges.
Great Videos as always
Totally agree with your opinion, This game is just super disappointing of how Nintendo treated these games
wow wouldn't think they would release such a bare bones game.
