This dipping technique looks easy while watching you do it, and than I enthusiastically go and try to make it, and my root looks like a disaster! 😆Thank you brother for all you do for us!!
I know this video was put out a while ago but I had a question about dipping technique, You are dipping your tungsten in the puddle? or are you dipping the filler rod? also I absolutely love all your videos!!!!
As a noob to pipe welding your channel has been a massive help thank you! I struggle a lot with getting good burn through/ penetration what ever you want to call it
I really enjoy watching the way you plan out and explain and work before your welds. The speed and constant feed movement when you walk the cup is inspiring. I have trouble maintaining upward torch movement on vertical up T fillets 3mm x 25mm flat bar practice work at the moment. Maybe I spent more time worrying about my feeder hand and forgot about training the torch hand to play along properly. Thanks for sharing your welding skills.
@@X3MTIG thanks for the reply. I've watched your Walking The Cup for Beginners video now and will use the torch practice techniques in my training. Great tips in that video. Thank you
Sim mestre mais uma bela apresentação de passe de raíz das 8 horas do tubo tenho que trabalhar com o material de adição mais pra fora do bisel para não sofrer saliência com a raíz interna obrigado pela orientação 🙏
How many tacks do you make and how long are they approximately before you start welding? I find that the space between the pipes shrink a lot as I do the root pass. Have you found a balance between the spacing of tacks which prevents this shrinking to where you can no longer fit the filler rod between the pipes. I will search your channel for a video about extensive prep work. If it does not exist you have a suggestion then. Great video!
So relaxing watching you weld!!✊🏽
Thank you my friend 👍

Great tutorial videos. Are your bevels done mostly by hand angle grinder or rotary bevel grinder?
Angle Grinder
Looks good slick

Spaced them at, 3,9,6,12 o’clock, 1/2 “ in length. If pipe shrinks, take grinder and open up so you can fit filler wire.
Youre a wizard bro
My man was burnin
Good jobs

Vic end welded with X-ray quality makes no sense in my mind..why not just 6010 the root and 7018 out? Unless it’s just for demonstration
