Hay Ds you can remove the headlight assembly you can also lift up the fuse box cover and then the capitol open enough for you to pull the bulb out disconnect the wire and pull the ball out

Thanks for the video. I have a 2017 Soul that has the flat headlight cover. You have to twist bulb holder to unlock and remove the plug from the bulb. No two screw driver job as suggested below. Was able to replace bulb using your method. Keep up the good work, yours is the only video that covers driver side bulb with the locking light socket recessed in the headlight assembly.

Thanks for the help. I was out there for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to do the driver's side. Would be nice if someone made a print version of a repair manual, like Haynes, but nothing. I'd like to get the people who designed the headlight bulb to be replaced like that and just smack them once!

Thanks this helped. I would not have ventured to take those bolts off for the driver's side. Putting it back lining up and pushing to back into place. I will be praying as I do it tomorrow morning.

I can see nothing at night. 2014 Soul plus, 29,000 miles. Clear lens covers. I hate it. What can I do besides sell this vehicle?

yeah, I knew going in that the base did not, but surprised at how expensive and how limited parts availability is to retrofit factory fog lights. have though about rigging up after market, but I'm cheap and don't want to spend much on it as I bought it to be a cheap commuter
