Again one of my fave and respected Christian metal band. They were criticized during the 80's for being a Christian band. But look at them now they are still up and playing and making great music. :)

Stryper rules. Thanx to Frontiers Music srl for keeping this kind of music alive. They have many great bands in their roster. They have these classic bands, super groups (famous musicians put together) and new bands too. Just take a listen to bands like Smackdown, Eclipse, One Desire, Palace etc.
I was at the red rocks show. It was awesome. Two guys sitting in front of us were there to se TNT and Loudness. I remember the convo very well. Guy #1: let’s go Guy#2: naw, let’s watch these Christians rock. This’ll be funny. I think the rock that makes me roll was the 2nd or 3rd song played. They turn to each other and said “these guys rock!” And they head banged through to the end. Great time!

Wow! That is a great song and video. Love the chorus. I guess I did not give Stryper their props back in the day. I do remember Winter Wonderland being an awesome holiday song.

Michael Sweet is one of the few vocalists who voice got BETTER over time. he's packing more power behind it.

Stryper basically still sounds like they did back in the '80s so you could say their sound is kinda retro!
Stryper is great band and this new album is the best one so far. And I like all Stryper albums.

Caught a Bible at there show in 86ish. Seen them twice once at Red Rocks which was amazing.
