Overall a great song but I wish the drum tone (mainly the snare drum) sounded better. I’m just not diggin’ that tone. I’m still looking forward to the album though. Btw, just saw you guys in Indianapolis a few weeks ago and it was the best Stryper show I’ve ever seen!

Stryper never disappoints. Michael Sweet voice always solid as 30 years, rhythm and lead guitars with Oz amazing, Drums consistent and strong and great bass lines.

Robert went from a pretty okay drummer in the 80s to one of the best I have heard. This song along with "The Devil Doesn't Live Here" are drumming masterpieces

This is absolutely epic! I love how the song shifts grooves and rhythms through, yet sounds completely cohesive. The drum tone is fantastic! This is Stryper at its best!! Big massive vocals, Perry’s bass playing is stellar, and the guitar solos are tasty! Yes to it all!!
I agree with you about everything except the drum tone. I’m really NOT diggin’ the drum sound, especially the snare drum. As a drummer myself and a Stryper/Robert Sweet fan since 1985 this is in my opinion the worst drum sound I can remember on a Stryper album. Overall a good song though.

How does a band that’s 40 years old get better. The last 10 years is better than anything from the 80’s and I was 12 when MTV aired so that’s all I watched so I know 80’s Stryper well.

Seems like every 80’s artist/group that is still around today you can tell it is newer material from older (yes, sorry but I am older too!) artists. The music progresses with them through the years.

It's amazing, Stryper has been around since the early 80s but with every new release, they prove they are still in their prime.
This song is fantastic!! I have to admit that my 1st listen didn't do much for me. However, let me explain. I listened on my phone, without headphones. Fast forward to a little while ago, add headphones and now I am on my 4th play in a row!!! The PROG elements are all over this in tue breakdown before the solos and the ending shocked me as well!! I can wait to hear this album!!! The lyrics are undeniable and tue playing is stellar!!!

From Oz's brain tumor diagnosis, surgery and recovery, to Michael's vision troubles, they have most definitely RISEN to their calling! Here they are making some of the strongest and most bombastic music of their entire careers, and pulling NO punches all the while making NO excuses and giving NO APOLOGIES!!! I personally cannot wait for the full new album!!!

You guys rock! Love this album. Been a fan since The Yellow and Black Attack. I had an older cousin who was like 13 years older than me. I think I was 9. He had a couple of Stryper albums and I was instantly mesmerized by the covers. I asked him to play one, and I was hooked! I had never heard Christian Metal. My Dad listened to Old school metal like Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, but he left all that music behind when he dedicated his life to Jesus. I was listening to Petra, Kerry Livgren and some other Christian rockers after my Dad got saved. Stryper blew me away and they became my favorite band. I bought To Hell With The Devil on cassette when it came out, and was the only kid at my school that was a heavy metal rebel for Christ!

The groove and riff sound a lot like "She's The Woman" from Van Halen.... I like it.
