I remember there was a search chests challenge at the block which was needed for you to get the season 8 battlepass for free. It was absolutely chaos, felt like search 7 chests at risky reels all over again with half the lobby trying to do the challenge 😭

If The Block is ever added back in a way that the POI is always at least loosely connected to the season’s theme and is voted on by the community in the end, I think that will be a really cool thing.

I’d think the competitive community is defiantly gonna complain so it would come unfortunately… THOUGH IT WOULD HE SICK! Maybe yeah they just put the block (a larger version then the C1 since pois are kinda large so a tiny one wouldn’t make sense) and every 2-3 weeks it gets replaced since with the larger size I feel like it needs more of a ‘adaption’.

I feel like a good "concept" for a Block 3.0 is combining the aspects of both of them into a working thing. We have it to where The Block is an actual POI (or heck, maybe a landmark would make it seem cool as well), and a voting booth near the thing for you to vote for which creation you'd want to see the next week or so. To make it fair for creators getting their builds accepted, there would be a system where the losing builds would get shuffled back into the deck of remaining builds for vote, and the second to last week would shorten the options to 2 instead of 3 (or however much they decide to put in on the vote), then the votes stop at the end with the last option being there by default on the last week. To prevent accidental rigging, they dont cost gold and dont auto-select an option for console players, and since they dont cost gold, they dont function like the funding stations where they drop minis after voting, but maybe XP would be a nice replacement to get people to vote (it also prevents people with max gold to vote multiple times for their favorite to rig the votes from casual players, but they can get the vote XP in different matches, making it a good place to stop by).
That's all I got for a suggestion, and I'd say a landmark size location makes a bit more sense to keep other locations the season's new POIs in a spotlight, but still making this a good side landing spot, also tried to keep things balanced with the smaller location and puting precautions that give a reason to stop by, but not make it too powerful and in a small group's power on who will be featured next.
Fortnite should bring back the block and if they do the creations in it should be themed around the season's theme like this season is Apocalyptic meaning the creations would be Apocalyptic themed and the block 2.0 was rigged but we need the block 3.0 maybe we can have that this Summer with this season being called Wrecked and Megalo Don's wasteland is wrecking the island we could have a block 3.0 to rebuild places that have been Wrecked by the wasteland

@@ExtantPerson don't know about that one, but he groomed a 14 year old and was called out in 2022 but the person groomed was ignored but they brought back up thr grooming when fury's skin was leaked and luckily it was noticed by people and gained traction.

It was my favorite landing spot in-game since I was 13, and I wish we had it back sometime next chapter
I'd love to see The Block return. The POIs we got while it was on the map were insanely creative and fun to drop at (with a few exceptions like the huge turtle). With the introduction of Creative 2.0 and tons of new galleries, the creative potential for these POIs is through the roof. I hope Fury's inappropriate behavior hasn't discouraged Epic from doing community collaborative efforts like these, since the Block hasn't returned, and we haven't seen a single skin concept make it into Fortnite since Harmony Lee was scrapped.
Sure is a shame the Rayne outfit never came out, sure buddy was weird but it’s not like you can’t separate the art from the artist

they should make a block 3.0 where it would change once every season for comp, and change every week like how it used to for pubs
I still remember when they added the block since it wasn’t right at the start of the season. Everything looked normal on the map, then we flied over Risky on the bus and noticed it was just a giant block. We landed there out of pure confusion, before we finally looked up what it was

I wish Epic Games would bring in more creative stuff into their main gamemodes again. Considering how they want creative people to make their weird metaverse stuff i dont see why they dont let anyone do it?

That one person who made The Block that got banned ruined it all. Also, I just realized that it seems like Epic liked the idea from the pyramid and used it for The Cube Queen’s POI, it even had the orb over it as well!

Its so sad, I never visited and looked at all of the blocks. There were so many cool looking and fun ones amongst them, I hope we get a Block 3.0 ^^

I loved C3S3 and the block 2.0 was a big part of that. I loved the new tilted and really felt for the creators after Epic had the audacity to obliterate their creations just months later.

4:11 this chest actually guaranteed legendary loot because in chapter 1 the loot pool was handled way differently than today and supply drops did also only drop legendary weapons and no epic ones

The thing with Fury is there was a lot if speculation of him being a child p3dophile ot some shit like that. I was hearing a lot of that from a lot of people so it could be incorrect but it's still controversy which is why Epic decided last min to not release the concept summer skin we were supposed to be getting.

I remember playing sneaky silencers and i landed at the block and noticed a plane was there, which was removed from the mode but not from the block so i used it and just went around shooting and crashing into people and managed to win a few games doing so lmao, cheating i know but thought it was fun
Yeah. The voting board they should have thought that out better. They probably shouldn't have granted minis everytime they vote cause players were just abusing it to get free shields and ended up not caring about what they were voting for.
This is really sad to watch… I used to be a friend with Fury, made a video with him before where we played creative together (unlisted now). We stopped talking for a while then I came back and saw the allegations :(
