KWVR Steam Gala March 2023

The video portrays the 4 day Spring Steam Gala of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, (KWVR), held in March 2023. It shows gala operations along the line from Keighley to Oxenhope and return to Ingrow West as the weather changed from heavy snow to sunshine and thaw.
The snowy weather and steam engines together conspired to deliver a magical scene for all who attended to enjoy.
Some of the line's history, features and usage are mentioned as we work our way along the line and the many preserved steam locos and volunteers work hard.
Hopefully the video will encourage more people to visit and enjoy the villages of the beautiful Worth Valley situated in Yorkshire, UK, and to use its wonderful heritage railway line.
