I hope that the author will rebalance his own. Because in the previous version, one Copper was imbalanced. And now, characters like Tony and Richie reduce the difficulty of the game to No. The perfect example of balance for me is the Infinity Unfolds mod. p.s. Well, Richie's moveset was made for Gardenias, and normally you'd use the spin out skill on atleast max 3 opponents. I'm pretty sure that he just got taken out of Gardenias and put in the ultimate modpack without any changes aside from a few new (mostly broken/useless) skills.
There is almost no difference in the end, in the cave. Pre 3 fold Apep and Ham could survive if you had Serjio. Serjio will make too big jump and die. Tony will live. Same to Richie, but he will be 0 HP after jump. Geen will die. Copper will be half-dead, Salt Crab will stay up there (even if you beat the crowd). Idk about others. And everyone will die in the cave, in the sleep, by Hugo. Except Ham and Apep - probably because they know how to hide and stuff.
Where is the difficulty in this mod? i am not a big fan of using 9 turns on evade and jerky meat, but its crazy the difference with the new party members than without them
The difficulty is actually getting New party members Each requries something diffrent to be done before they join your party and its very easy to screw up and permanently lock somebody And many of The fights that are included in modpack were made in mind of having those party members, so running around with only Alex and Joel isn't the best idea Not only that but it takes time and effort before your newly recruited party members become strong, leaving them vulnerable for a time being, and reaching the level of power like showed in video requries combining party members with Good synergy to be effective So to summarise, the difficulty of Ultimate Modpack comes from having to plan your course of action in overworld so you aren't left weak in next fight and finding Good strategy with your party Or at least this is what I think
@@DiscoveringOne mmm interesting response. i Think you are right, but at the same time i feel something is lost with all this content. i think that the main game works like the poor and scarce part of Olathe, because the little amount of items that you will found in your travel, but with this mod its different. you work with more resources, more people (npcs), more quests, like an adventure. i think that feel of scarcity has disappeared with this mod and maybe for that i feel the mod looks easy. its like go to live in the forest with only the natural resources but you found that are many abandoned hauses with food, water and tools.
@@cortinas7090 I have to disagree. If you don't ration and use your resources properly, they deplete shockingly fast. Feels like a lot of healing items, but the moment it sinks in that your down to like 2 jerkys in a tough fight...
@@cortinas7090 I actually think the same As much as I love amount of content and flavour that ultimate Modpack brings, orginal Pointless Vibe is irreplacable Limited supplies which forced you into strict rationing and made you reliant and status effects or avoiding confrontstion How not only you Had to know Alex and Joel playstyle but actually master it so make most of it And how the game didn't answered for every question it gave us but instead let us try to Reach own conclussion What I want to say Is that even thought I will stay with Ultimate Modpack, The orginal Pointless atmosphere and Vibe is one of its kind and everybody should Play it at least once And now to wait for monster update, see you guys in next twenty years
