- Hey guys! I got a few messages asking me for a video about how I got into U of R after I posted my "things I wish I knew before university" video soooo I gathered all the courage in me and made this video! I hope it's helpful:)
OH ALSO, if any of you are watching this when it's that stressful time period of applying to colleges, I just want to say that not getting into college/not getting into your dream college is not the end of the world! Things happen for a reason and college is only a small part of our lives. I'm also here if any of you guys have questions!

Oh my goodness you poor thing with all that SAT Prep. That is so strange that your score did not improve much. I’m glad it did not affect your eventual outcome and good on your parents for trying to give you the support because you wanted to achieve a high score.

hey ibrahim! i really think it depends on the person but most people find u of r's academics rigorous BUT doable. i personally found it challenging starting from sophomore year but just got used to things. :) i wouldn't worry about it

You should’ve taken the ACT ! It’s easier and more straightforward. The questions are easier to comprehend and concepts are more obvious.

SAT Subject Tests are no longer offered in the U.S. 😭😭

If I get rejected it’s because of gpa sigh. Only had a 4.01. Everything else I have is solid. SAT is 1540 so I hope that makes up for it. I’m applying RD

hey sis! what if you're an international student & your country doesn't do this whole GPA system? but we do SATs..
they’ll look at your grades in the context of your high school. they’ll find a way to convert those grades.

The average that gets accepted, at least from my school is a SAT score of 1400 with a gpa 3.75... but they did accept a few people as low as 1050 with 2.8 gpa

Now I feel really dumb. Your score is way above average.. my psat score was in the HUNDREDS and I currently don’t even know my actual SAT score. The website we use hasn’t shown my results but I have no doubt I did bad
