  • On February 16, 2022, the Center for Policy, Research, and Evaluation at the NYU Metro Center hosted an interactive virtual event with Black Girls across the US to discuss in community with each other how their schooling experiences have been influenced by their racial and gendered identities. In this video, Black girls share what it means to them to be a Black girl and where they feel most affirmed in their Black and girlhood identities.

This is such a beautiful expression of Black girlhood! ✨❤️ Thank you for convening this conversation and especially for posting video for those who couldn’t be there in real time. 🙏🏾
