Camelot was destroyed, by the Giants. You, an unknown knight, just revived by Merlin, The Wizard. Merlin gives you an important task: Restore the Kingdom of Camelot and defeat the Giants. The only weapon you have, a broken Excalibur.
Knight vs Giant is an Action RPG with rogue-lite elements that combine Kingdom Restoration with Procedural Dungeon.

Comparing this alpha demo to the full release, they've greatly improved upon literally everything to make a solid overall experience.

Thing to remember if you are playing this game. If a blessing fountain thinger is trying to appear after you clear the enemies, don't roll into it which apparently keeps it from appearing.

It really seems like to me at least that when you went for the replay, which seems like new game+ almost, that the actual numbers of the upgrades got downscale. So the things with only word description or effects seem a lot stronger the second time around.
Edit: Please play more of this when it comes out Reto, if it's polished properly :)

You should really check out Kandria on Steam. It's a neat Metroidvania with an interesting System by one Developer. You can play the Demo, the dev uploaded it just a few days ago.

I been looking for a rogue lite with a town building mechanic that is interesting and haven't really seen much yet. I played a game called Dark Cloud a long time ago that i absolutely fell in love it, and recently played rogue heroes that had that system, but the town building was kind of lackluster and you finish it pretty early in game. I'm just curious if anyone knows of any good rogue lites where you explore dungeons but between runs build up a down type of thing. Moonlighter for example was fun but you run a shop in between runs, not really build up and manage a town. I kind of wish someone made a game where you built up a town, recruit a party of heroes/solders that you then go out and explore environments in a final fantasy tactics style combat and you take stuff you earned to build up your town which in turn can strengthen your army and explore harder and harder dungeons and such. Does anything like that exist? In that game if you lose soldiers they perma die so you'd have to recruit new ones in your town or whatever, i feel like that game must exist somewhere.
