I left Tokyo when I was 4 years old but this made me feel a bit nostalgic for a place I have no real memories of 🤣. Personally, I love bustling cities, precisely because I feel so connected to the city and people who inhabit it. Even when alone, I don't feel lonely. I especially like the variety of streets and buildings in Japanese cities. I would never get bored walking! Having been raised in an ugly, cookie-cutter suburb in Southern California - where every third house was identical except for a slight variation in color, and every cul de sac was virtually indistinguishable from ours - I regret not having had the opportunity to grow up in Tokyo. 😢
I love the openess and the question. The sense of Connection may begin with a place, an aroma, or a visual clue, but something bigger is happening within that moment. The feeling of a connection is an essential human need. There is a sense of belonging and being a part of something beyond oneself. And it seems that the more mindful we are of these moments and immerse ourselves in the connections we are experiencing, there is the realization that what we are experiencing is a sacred moment. As we feel our connections and others feel their connections, there becomes a growing sense of total interconnectivity. This infinite weaving is what I call Sacred because it acknowleges that We All Belong to this awesome Life.
beautifully filmed and narrated!

ありがとう〜
your vlogs really bring me comfort, thank you and keep on vlogging
Dramatically wonderful, a mini modern version of Tokyo-ga (1985). You have pure souls. You should write movies too.
