    Hey Warbarn!! Hope all is well! Was working overseas again, This is deffinatly a weird way to mount a vision block. i would have thought the germans quickly replaced this system with their own mechanism ( slide in from the side). Ive quickly paged trough Ospreys "light panzers 1932 till 1942" but i could find any thing on vision blocks ect... ill keep an eye open!

      @@luuko656 Hello good to hear from you. I hope overseas was well. The visor system is Antiquated for sure! I really can't say it's German per se. For it is a Czech design. Perhaps for the Germans to switch over to their own method or their own inserts would cause for a complete retrofit. Which would be complicated and slow production down. So as far as I can see it makes sense to just go with the existing design. It seems to me though that most period tanks of Any Nation had blocks that they can replace or mirrors that they can replace fairly easy.
