We are picking up our R1713 this April in Quebec City. I really like how high the ceiling gets when opened and that it will fit in our garage. Love watching your videos. Thanks for posting.
For the leveling process... Those look like generic blade connectors, so, in theory, one could just connect them to a momentary switch, and then you could do tha process any time you like with a push of a button. The button could even be mounted in an accessible place.
I think everyone wants to know if it’s usable with the top down, when asked directly you tell us how easy it is to open, and opening it requires leveling, and more
As nice as all the windows are, I think any motorized part of a camper could possibly lead to additional maintenance and problem areas for something break, not to mention it adds more weight to the trailer.
So exciting!! We are Very happy with our bedrolls. We’ve talked about doing videos by room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and, dinette. Hope to be making the videos soon. Thanks for asking!
We rented one from Durango last September for our first time travel trailer ever. Loved it. It was our top TT to purchase,…except. The wait was into 2023, and the other thing, you might find it minor, was the sink and faucet. I just hated it. Love the design.
We want to go visit Durango soooo bad! The waiting is hard. Some have switched out their sink for an IKEA sink and faucet though we are ok with the factory set up. Thanks for watching!
They are spectacular ✨ There is a company in Durango Colorado that rents them. The purchases are typically done direct to the factory in Quebec. Thanks for watching!
Do you store your trailer in the garage? That’s very important for me as our neighborhood doesn’t allow RVs in driveways. RV STOAGES IS ABOUT $150/month where I live.
So, did you have to drive up to Canada to pick it up then? Was there any hassle to buying out of the states and importing it in? We're thinking of getting one, but unsure how that all works.
Sure! 1 Turn off furnace. 2 Windows and doors shut. 3 Tighten Table. 4 Turn off ceiling fan. 5 Store microwave glass plate 6 Secure Refrigerator clasp. 7 Lock kitchen cabinet and bathroom door. 8 Water pump OFF 9 Lower Roof (after checking things on the list at the door) 10 Turn off inverter when unplugged 11 Lock door. Thanks for watching!
Even in fall we have very few instances where something need to be retrieved from the gap. An occasional leaf or pine needle is all we find in them. Good question! Thanks for watching.
You two are very compatible. You enjoy each other's humor.
Awesome video!!!! I love these trailers and this just made me love them more!!!!
Thanks! Love your energy!😊
I love your authenticity and fun presentations. I’m enjoying learning about this camper from you.
I hope you are getting a commission from the company - you have sold me on this camper! Thank you for all your fantastic advice!🤩
Thanks for watching!
You two are funny.. Thanks for the video.
Your husband is a hoot! 😂 I absolutely love your trailer! The hubby and I are considering purchasing a travel trailer.
We’ll thank you very much. Sincerely, “Hoot”. 😆 We hope you enjoy your trailer as much as we do ours. Thanks for watching!
This was really informative and a cool camper
👍🏼 the windows are cool
You guys are genuinely funny and light hearted. Good videos
Thanks for watching!
Great info on the roof! I'm looking to get an Alto in a few years. My husband wants to thru hike the AT and I prefer sleeping in a bed :D
Very interesting, Thanks!

That is so exciting! I hope that you love your Alto like we do. Thanks for watching!
You risk everything for us, thank you! 👍
Taken’ chances 😂
Near by tornados lol that comment made me chuckle. It was in Edmonton and you were in Quebec (that’s the other side of the country haha)
Lol my mistake. The tornado was spotted in Ottawa not Edmonton and touched down about 30 mins from Quebec.

True.
Great video. As always, very entertaining.
Thank you, Brad!

We have never used it with the top down because it’s so easy to open.
Nice touch and humor on these videos you guys👍👍. ♥️
Thank you for watching!
no judgment #1. but you guys are drunk right? bc I am and I totally get you in this video 🧡🍻🍷
😂 cheers!
I wish the Alto was available where I live.
As nice as all the windows are, I think any motorized part of a camper could possibly lead to additional maintenance and problem areas for something break, not to mention it adds more weight to the trailer.
True. There was a time when I didn’t want power windows in my car for the similar reasons. Thanks for watching! And thanks for commenting!
Like your show. One quick question. Are you staying in rv park in florida now?
We have left Florida but while we were there we stayed at mostly state parks. Thanks for watching!
Well done. I am an R1723 owner and am always looking for ways to improve my Alto experience.
Thank you!! Us too!
Hi,love your show, we are from Bromont Québec and have the same camper, we are wondering where did you get your zipper screen door thanks
At the Safari Condo Boutique online web store. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the awesome video. Where can we purchase one in the Midwest?
Nowhere that I know of. We picked up in Quebec City at the Safari Condo sales office.
We'll be getting our 1713 soon. We'd like to know more about how you created your bed rolls? Looks like a good system!! Another video on bedding!!

@@ALifeMoreLight That’s a great idea! I loved the kitchen tips one but I’m storing the ideas because I don’t have a camper yet…😂

@@ALifeMoreLight An IKEA sink? That’s interesting. I’d love to see that modification sometime.
Absolutely Love the windows in your camper! Do they sell those campers anywhere in the US?
They are spectacular ✨ There is a company in Durango Colorado that rents them. The purchases are typically done direct to the factory in Quebec. Thanks for watching!
You two are fun. Thank you for the laughs and good info. What is the wait time in these units nowadays?
Thank you! The last we heard it was 3 years for a factory order.

We do! Thanks for watching!

What kind of car you are using to tow this RV? Thank you!
2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland edition
Any chance you could share the leaving-camp checklist?
Would it be beneficial to put pool noodles in the outside gap (roof up) to keep debris out (leaves, etc) ?
Even in fall we have very few instances where something need to be retrieved from the gap. An occasional leaf or pine needle is all we find in them. Good question! Thanks for watching.
How can we contact you? We just purchased an Alto 1713 and want to know how to install the rear facing camera.
Do you need a weight distributor to tow this trailer!
What seals the windows that raise with the roof to the walls and have they ever leaked?
They seal with a closed cell neoprene gasket that has never leaked. Thanks for asking!
