I wish he would of said something about the safety ..I feel the prop needs to be non-functional when the avionics are raised and couples are walking around the deck/hammock.Thanks Dan...Very exciting creation!
looks cool, current price is listed at $219,000. I like that the price was relatively easy to find, although it's not like i'd be able to afford any airplane, but it is nice to know their prices.
***** The thing is that it is almost impossible to find how much a new plane costs. I suppose companies just expect that anyone who can buy their planes won't have to worry about the price, or even bother to know what the price is.
@@ultralightnews Really, to this day, no MVP ? Looks like with most high visibility float aircraft, only available are 2 seaters, not 3 or 4 seat aircraft.
I wonder if they ever got past the mockup. The website is up, but it doesn’t appear to display anything new from the mockup, certainly no working prototype. Nothing other than 2014 vintage PR
I was a big fan of Icons offering till i read the conditions of ownership and penalties document their legal team has crafted. What a bunch of crap. Plus the chuckleheads in Icons marketing group insist on puff pieces at the expense of honest reviews to make their propaganda chooch. Way to go MVP Aero. Can you imagine sight fishing for GT's at Andros from the front of this, or harassing Clooney on Como? I can. Make it happen guys.
Hahahaha Well said! My friend was attempting to buy an Icon and finally gave up on them. He wants a smaller float plane than his 180 for fun basically.
I'm guessing investors saw all the troubles ICON has gone through and got cold feet with a very similar plane. I hope somebody tells me I don't know what the hell I'm talking about because I'd love to see this one succeed.
another aircraft that was produced for a market that did not exist all well and good in the design but you noticed that it had to be canceled because it was a waste of valuable engineering to a market where it was not wanted should have built it without folding wings or a hull. just normal landing gear and none of that other fishing and so on crap added to it
Damn, engineers sure can be clever. What a beautiful design, on multiple levels.
This has to be one of the most prectile best bang for the buck sea planes ive seen in awhile. I can only dream....
This video was released 2yrs ago, need to see where it sits now
Lost funding
@@rogerwalsberg are you kidding? I'd love a Icon, but the Akoya is better performance, but has some lesser things in design. And then this.
I'll take the MVP over the ICON, simply because it is a lot more functional and looks great!
I agree. I also think it looks better than the Icon
I can't wait to see where this goes hopefully the contract is much more customer friendly than the A5 from the reviews I've heard.
Really new fantastic & handsome concept, congratullations!
Is it amphibious? Great engineering. Brilliant design and idea. Good luck with your sales and marketing. 🇨🇦
Website doesn't really say how far along in the project they are. Only that they have investors and partners...but I wish them the best

Wow, who doesn’t want one of these?!

Don't sell yourself short. Make it a goal and you can do it.
Can add wheels for land landing?
This craft is awesome, thanks for the video.
Wow great design !
What is the cost of the aircraft? What is the cruise speed fuel consumption in this aircraft.
Brilliant. How many years before it's available?
Have to look at how long the icon took to get certified after a flying model was developed.
is cirrus manufacturing this? what are pros/cons vs the icon?
is is actually the coolest sea plane ive ever seen this is a game changer thanks for sharing :)
Was it ever produced?
Amazing idea !
Wow! That's some genius James Bond voodoo magic awesomeness right there.
Super snimke Bravoooooo!!!
It is now 2020 and still NO MVP aircraft. Their website www.mvp.aero is gone. Shame. This is one of the best looking aircraft I have seen.
MVP no longer exists? 3 or 4 seater version would be a real plus
i need one
What simulator is that
That's Awesome!
Thats just a mock-up, everything else is CGI, there are none flying, only scale models
The web address not works properly, it opens shadow screen you can't get round
ground breaking.... could really be a game changer !
Cuál es su precio.???
Never went into production.

If I was the one that hit the 2 billion dollar lottery I would buy something like this
What no wheels?
Good thought through design. Now for the evaluation period.
Super...
Status update?
Did not enter production.
It looks like a cross between a Searey and an Icon.

Check out the Akoya from Lisa. It has better performance than the Icon. Though I wish it had a walk around.
MVP have a 3 or 4 seater version yet?

Airplane, you da real MVP
What is this? A budget Icon A5?
Seems much more capable than the A5. I believe they are about the same price.
It is way more capable than the Icon A5.
Guessing it flopped, can’t find any vids newer than 3 years.
So sell the house, buy one of these, then set up camp in a place you need a plane to get to.?
This plane was vaporware.
And?
wow thank's
That is the cats pajamas
Extreme thinking, calculating , planning & use of space . Probably years ahead of its time & cant be appreciated.

$189,000 bucks!
Makes for very expensive fish.
Zero news, was this a bust?
What ever happened with this ? I recall seeing the MVP people at Oshkosh a few years ago sitting down with a group of Chinese in the food court.
Rich Person Toy
Jeremy - name a new, certified airplane that isn’t expensive. Sounds like jealously.
This show pony has yet to fly.
Far too expensive.
Itsmeeman1 - go ahead and build one cheaper. Let us know when you have them built, certified and ready to pick up.
