Thank you for an incredible journey that you gave us through all these Doom walkthroughs. We love Doom series, and your videos are uniquely neat, not to mention plenty of funny moments that emerged every now and then with you. There's only one thing that is missing to my opinion in those. You never explained to us how exactly to strafe run, which is one of the crucial part of the game. But nontheless, that journey was awesome. I found out many new thigs to me about Doom, and completing all four WADs made me play Doom much better.
Just finished watching all your doom stuff (official ID). Started with Ultimate Doom, then Doom II, TNT and now Plutonia. Love your videos man--you're the best I've seen.
I did almost exactly the same thing as you (same order). The only thing I did extra was play the MasterLevels wad after Doom II. That's when I first needed help with the maps, and so I found BigMacDavis. After that, I watched every single map AFTER playing the map myself to see how a good player would play it. Sometimes I also needed help with secrets.
Wonderful walkthrough. You're such a humble, funny dude and your personality and wit is what makes these videos -- and your channel -- what it is. I hope you're having a good day :)
BMD your videos got me through the worst pit of my life. It was the darkest depression I could ever imagine. Thank you so much. I'm in a much better place now though no worries.
Just finished playing The Plutonia Experiment. I just wanted to say your videos were great man! I would finish a level on my own then come back to see how you handled the difficult parts. I know these videos are old and you might not see this, but keep it up!
I wasn't so much drawn to these walkthroughs out of a need to remember where all the secrets and items were, as to just enjoy a real pro at work making mincemeat of the hellspawn with vim and vigour. These walkthroughs are FUN.
I am glad to have finished Plutonia, what an awesome game. I agree it is the best of the 4 Doom oficial WADs and thank you BigMacDavis because your videos helped me a lot on some maps where I got lost or missed something, for I aim 100% everything. Here is my Plutonia top 3 maps: 1) Odissey of Noises; 2) Go 2 It; 3) The Sewers. Now I am going to do Plutonia 2 for the second time years later... oh my, this is insane as hell. Just found out that you BicMacDavis did (or are still doing) a walktrough stream, so I am going to watch it too :D
Congratulations you finished Final Doom. It's a sad moment for me when your walkthrough ends but I look on the bright side. One door closes and another one opens.
Wow! What a battle with the Gatekeeper. And adding to this atmosphere is the Victory Music (a.k.a. text screen intermission music) from Doom playing in the background. LOL at the ending text screen. And Sign of Evil plays once more at the enemy roster screen. How nice. Anyways, job well done on this walkthrough. :)
Big Mack you're the BEST! I want to thank you for getting me through this game. I'm not going to lie, I went to you at least 5 times throughout plutonia . Thanks you sir!
Hey man, thank you for the walkthrough, it really helped to get through this campaign. I enjoyed the wad, this videos and your commentary. Thanks again.
Wow, just finished this one and it was TOUGH for me, even with BigMacDavis' guidance. My biggest problem was that platform, it seemed to have two height levels for me-- tall and taller -- and this really messed up my aim for the brain. But somehow by pumping out enough rockets and BFG'ing everything around me, I finally made it. Thanks BigMacDavis for being my constant companion for all 32 Plutonia episodes and getting me through the hardest parts. Playing these maps without your videos wouldn't be half as fun. Very appreciative of your hard work and professionalism. I'm moving on to "No Rest For the Living" next and, what timing, it looks BMD just completed all maps for that as of today. So, yay!
Thank you for the video. I beat this boss twice over but neither time counted because the surrounding enemies immediately killed me; afterwards I couldn't get in the right position to hit the bosses brain. It turned what should have been a 2 minute boss fight into a 30-45 minute one (Not including the 10 minute break I took to avoid breaking anything.) I used your videos several times to help with secrets in the game. I liked and subscribed.
Just finished this entire campaign for the first time ever. Did not like a lot of the monster closets jampacked within it, but also kinda glad that it has desensitized me to chaingunners, revenants, and archviles because of how much they were spammed in almost every map. This has been the only Icon of Sin fight I didn't feel too annoyed by even though I did it the long way shooting rockets at the Cyberdemon from the initial room and getting enemies to in fight against him from time to time. Glad you enjoyed this entire campaign and showed me better ways to approach each map. I like to see what I can do beating them on my own and then watch your walkthroughs of each map to see how I could've done it better. Then I take everything I've learned into the next map in terms of movement and weapon usage. SO THANKS, BIG MAC! GOOD STUFF ON ALL THESE WALKTHROUGHS!!!
Your videos are easily the best walkthroughs on youtube (and I love that they are actual walkthroughs - i hate videos labeled as such where it's obviously someone playing for the first time who is as clueless as i am - that is not helpful). I wish you could do them for every game but I'm happy with the classic FPS. I love your style of being thorough and very clear / concise. Not only that, but they're entertaining as well, and I watch through them even if I've played the levels to death. I am a huge Doom fan now, but I never revisited them outside of quick nostalgia sessions between when I was a kid and an adult. For my late teens and early 20s I was mostly disinterested in gaming (with a handful of exceptions) until Hey Ash Whatcha Playin got me to revisit portal and then half-life in 2014. I wasn't on a short nostalgia trip, but a binge. I played through half-life and its expansions in their entirety which I had never done before... but I probably couldn't have done it without your videos (maybe i could have but the qualities I mentioned before helped a lot). I saw Doom and Wolfenstein videos on the channel as well and decided I should continue the binge with them. After my experience with Half-Life, I had begun to enjoy the games beyond nostalgia, and I wanted to see everything they had to offer. Before then I had never tried playing doom For Real, it was just a few levels every once in a while for nostalgia but I had never tried playing the whole thing to completion. And so I did, with a little bit of help, and I had an absolute blast. I was never a particularly skilled g4m3r and usually played on normal or easy but watching your vids on UV got me to push myself to try (and eventually conquer) UV for the original games. It's a nice feeling playing through them now dominating and remember parts that were so tough and used to kill me before. I thought I was hot shit after Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 on UV, boy was I in for a surprise with TNT and Plutonia (Thy Flesh Consumed was actually the first speedbump but that's a diff story lmao, no rest for the living was another). Attempting them on UV back then i was in over my head, I gave up on TNT at map20 and plutonia on map 4. I would take cracks at them again over the years but things would come up and I'd stop playing them and whenever I tried them again I always started over from the beginning. Last year though I finally decided it had been too damn long for me to have not beaten them so I decided no matter what I'd just pick up where I left off instead of starting over every time. I beat TNT in a few days last May but I ended up unintentionally taking several months+ long breaks from plutonia. But damn, I finally beat it today and it feels good. It kicked my shit in many times but I'm looking forward to playing it again and getting better still. Also a fun thing - while playing through TNT and Plutonia I would watch the videos only AFTER I completed the levels, but your walkthroughs had influenced my playstyle so much sometimes I would see you using the same strategy in the video that I did while playing blind. That was always amusing. But aside from Doom, in between all of this, because of me playing through Portals, Half-Lifes, Dooms, and Wolfenstein with the help of BigMacDavis walkthroughs (and braid which I hand't mentioned but it was there), my passion for gaming had been reignited, I got more interested in the nitty gritty of game and level design and programming, I started to view and appreciate games in new ways that I never had when I was younger, I had years of catching up to do, I built my library through many glorious steam sales buying excellent games for dirt cheap that I am still reaping to this day. I loved games as a kid and I do now and that drought will never be repeated. For years I straight up thought I just didn't and couldn't enjoy video games any more. Anyway, having FINALLY beat Plutonia and watching this, I feel like things have come full circle. I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU for your wonderful walkthrough videos, I probably wouldn't be the doom fan I am today without them, and after listening to what you said during the credits in this video, I had to say something too.
Such a brave man i'm playing on Hurt me plenty difficulty and still a Hard challenge for me I made it painfully to map 27 Hhhh and that's my maximum in this wad anyway thanks for all the effort and energy you put in these walkthroughs keep it up
Hey iam Chucky B and I just beat doom 2 the plutonia experiment on the ultra violent difficulty played through Nintendo switch..wow what a game..I do not have a computer so iam limited to doom games..but this one here is my favorite..I love hard doom maps and this is the hardest commercial doom game..map 32 go to it is my favorite..love the challenge love the number of enemies..bigMacDavis has helped me with 5 doom games..doom 1&2 tnt, plutonia, and sigil..Next iam tackling the Master Levels and again I’ll use BMD walkthrough..thank you for taking the time to make these walkthroughs..taking the time to explain in detail and to try and give the most informative walkthroughs on TH-cam..your work don’t go un noticed and it really does help ppl who are stuck or lost in a doom game...thank you Big Mac Davis !!! See ya in Master Levels
Just finished Plutonia! I used your videos to travel through all of Doom 1, 2, and TNT Evilution as well, thank you so much for such high quality content! I never would have been able to do it without your help. :)
Wonderful! excellent map, excellent game, excellent title, excellent player... This series has been most entertaining and cunning as I use to say, and I'm happy to see it end with such a great value and quality throughout its wholeness. Onto many more great walkthroughs, BMD, and thank you :D
What to say, thank YOU for having uploaded this well played walkthrough, I really love plutonia, and all your vids have brought me back in time, long ago when I was younger and I had plenty of time to play videogames. The Doom series, my favourite game of all time.
I only grew up with doom and final doom on PlayStation watching and playing with my dad when I was a kid. I realised that doom and doom II were available on xbox, it essentially meant I got every map that I never got to experience and play, I luckily had to borrow your guide only a few times ! However it's been Wicked watching. I introduced my dad to a few levels he was missing no naturally he has now bought an Xbox and wants me to download all the doom and extra maps he would never have got and cannot wait to beat everything on nightmare difficulty. Thanks bigmac I have subscribed.
Hey buddy! Just finished my second playthrough of Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, TNT and Plutonia. First time was a couple of years ago, and i took the journey with you then, and when doom eternal was anounced i was inspired to do it all over again, so i did, but there was no way i was going to do it again without taking that same journey again. So thankyou for being my guide once again through the depths of hell. Take care BigMacDavis.
Please keep it up. "Thy Flesh Consumed" awaits! Yes, the videos are undoubtedly helpful to those who have not been through the games. I've played them a gillion times, but there are still little bits of strategy and some obscure items that you have disclosed. Big Thumbs Up for Big Mac Davis.
Thanks for these, Davis! Got me through all of Doom I + II + TNT+ Plutonia UV played through GZ Doom :) I agree, Plutonia is great, likely the best officlal WAD I've played so far.
Hi BigMacDavis, another awesome doom series! Watching your vids is like seeing a good old friend, I look forward to watching your next adventure! Keep it up buddy!
Another fantastic walkthrough complete. I have to say (not sound corny or anything), but these are some of the best walkthroughs I've seen, ever. So helpful, so action-packed, and so much fun to watch and enjoy. Here's to many, many more! :D
Well, @BigMacDavis, after watching and playing along with you through Ultimate Doom, Doom II and all of Final Doom, I feel the need to give you my critique. You may not always have the best strategy when it comes to game play, but you certainly are very knowledgeable when it comes to where things are; also I enjoy the history of how the games came to be, especially when it comes to the TNT games. I never knew about the Casali Bros until I started watching your videos. In fact, of all the Doomers I've watched (which to be honest isn't really that many), you are the most knowledgeable I've seen. 100% kills, items and secrets on all levels is a difficult feat to achieve indeed, but you certainly are a super player! Congrats! See you on DN 3D.
i didnt know you had to shoot the gate keeper so i was running around killing everything for so long trying to figure out what to do lol at least I know what to do now! I loved the plutonia experiment!
although this video is *8 yrs old* this has got me to beat this hell hole (no pun intended) of a mega wad and really pushed the limits of my doom skills. i couldn't describe how loud and relieved i was when i killed the final boss lol. oh and i won a bet too XD all this pain and suffering for £50 and it was so worth it. i wanna thank you cuz i sure as hell wouldnt of kept my sanity intact if i didnt take this walk through
By far one of my top 5 TH-cam channels. I have watched all of your Doom videos. I actually feel like I have a chance to beat the games that beat my ass so much when I was younger. Nothing to not like about these. Masterful work. I do have a question though BigMacDavis. Do you have to be so up close to the cyberdemon at the end? When you fire the BFG and that glob of green demon-death comes out, doesn't it cause the same amount of damage regardless of distance? I mean, it would seem preferable to fire the BFG at him from a distance if it does the same damage instead of eating a rocket or two from Billy Badass.
Hey, wow, thank you for the comment, I really appreciate your support. As far as your question goes, yes, it does make a difference with the BFG with how far you are from the target. The BFG, when it hits something in front of you, explodes into hundreds of invisible pixels, and then these pixels will engulf the entire screen that you're looking at. So, if you're farther away from your target, these pixels will indeed hit the target, but it will also hit anything else (like the walls) beside the target. However, if you are very up close to your target, and your target takes up the majority of your screen, these invisible pixels will hit more of this target. Hope that explains it for you. :)
Interesting. So it is basically a ridiculous plasma shotgun. That does make sense though. If it spewed out 60 plasma cells, it is logical they would all show up with the initial bright flash and fade/strike inanimate objects over distance. Thank you for clearing that up for me. Just seeing if there was an easier way to do it because I have the same luck (or worse) with kissyface cyberdemon sessions that you do.
Great walkthrough !! The best i've seen and i saw many. The way you explain things to do while playing is how a real walkthrough should be. It helps me a lot to survive where most of the time i failed and for that i thank you :) Have a great one and take care :)
Thanks a lot your vids. They sure did help me while i was playing Doom Classic Complete on ps3. Now just got Doom 2 Master Levels and Norest for the living left to do.
What a wonderful ending to the Plutonia Experiment! I'm looking forward to your next walkthroughs! It's far from perfect, but I had a wonderful time watching all the maps!
You're welcome mate. I only watch the best. The best are those who are as competent as they are informative (though sometimes commentary isn't always needed), and on top of that, well mature minded. People like you, Balames87, AltimaMantoid and GalleyUK are the lot who made me sit, think, and realize that my old casual minded LP's just didn't cut it anymore. There'll be a lot of rebooting in the future on this end. Name's Dan, by the way. :)
Hey brother I just downloaded the classic doom wads for the ps3 and played through each map following your direction and it was great like I had my own personal doom guide I have always been a doom lover and seeing your videos and playing through it with you only increased my love for the game anyway job well done for sure fantastic job and I look fwd to hopefully watching more of your videos in the future ik these videos are old so I don't know if you will even see this post but again absolutely fantastic job !!!
Well, congrats on a job well done, Jeff. One of the more better plutonia walkthroughs out here, and to top it off, you actually make it instructional and fun to do and watch unlike some other walkthroughs where the person doing it is just very monotone and monotnous or however you spell it. BTW, the name is George. ;)
I only played on hurt me plenty but man this last level was just frustrating for me. I couldn't even do it this way. I had to ignore all the enemies, run to the bottom of the stairs, take out the cyber demon with the plasma rifle, then go back up and rocket that thing in the face. I was never a huge fan of the icon of sin from doom 2 either. Great walkthroughs though and thank you. You've helped me through another doom game. I guess I'll try out tnt evilution next.
Just finished this map (and Plutonia Experiment)! It seems can get 2 rockets into the exposed brain in one platform raise if you're really lucky with timing - first one as the platform is just about fully raised, and the second one as you begin to fall off.
Megasphere and weapons, nice to start off with. When you got up in the Cyberdemon's face, I thought you were crazy, yet I knew you'd be successful doing that. Yeah it must suck for a " multiplayer only " thing to interfere with getting 100% items. It's fine by me not gettng 100% kills for that spawning reason. You handled the walkthrough well. Can't wait for the next video game. Congratultions BMD!
I got some issues while using Fraps when I am playing Doom and killing enemies with the plasma rifle. The france rate goes totally down, in game and video, I can't even play. Of course, my machine is old. But can I solve this issue by changing the Fraps configuration?
@BigMacDavis Sir, thanks a BUNCH for these videos. They really helped me approach the levels differently. I play a map, and then watch you playing the same map, then I continue with the next map etc. I've been doing that cadence this last month with MasterLevels, TNT, and now finally Plutonia. Are there any other 'must-play' wads out there?
The next WADs I'm going to do, which are among my favorites, are Alien Vendetta, Ancient Aliens, Hell Revealed, Valiant, Vanguard, Winter's Fury, and Zen Dynamics. Hope you enjoy these. :)
I was never very good at Final Doom the further I got on through the levels got harder and harder to play without god mode and without dying in the game!
I am not sure if I had made Plutonia without your help, BMD. Anyway, Plutonia was nice, but several issues appeared, like monsters, that simply did not appear, for example. In Doom 2, checking every room and every secret was enough to make sure one would reach 100% kills. I totally agree that Plutonia is a complete game, like Ultimate Doom, Doom 2 and TNT. Why did only Doom 2 deserve an own version number? Normally, Doom 3 should be Doom 5 and Doom 2016 should be Doom 6.
Yeah, I'm not sure why they did it this way. My personal opinions about this is that id Software wanted to cash in on the success of Doom so they released TNT and Plutonia together really quickly.
I don’t really eat untill around 3:00p.m., but lately if been gorging myself on the patented Big Mac Davis’ triple-decker, super slaughter, 100% “Hell-grazed” gut sandwich, completely slathered in DOOM and dripping with JUSTICE! Made specifically for the most insane, morbidly, and mentally FüCK€D individuals ever to attempt the most iconic and epically difficult game to be released. (Not to mention, it still has the ability to troll the hell out of and piss off 7year old prodigies and game creators to the point of smashing a controller through a $1,700.00 LCD T.V. To replace an old T.V.’s and/or equipment was easy in the 90’s. Pawnshops, shitty neighbors, Santa, Mom & Dads rec-room projection T.V., or you just (“””CALLLLL””””) any friend, and play at their house. It’s not like they could play “DOOM” anyway. Anyway.... I wish they’d give doom guys and doom enemies with every Big Mac meal. I’d prolly eat wayyyy more feces if they did! (J/k). But seriously,..... A “DOOM” Sonata. (For you all)... Doom Guy, Doom Guy. What have you done? Perseus braves the hellscape. Also Dante. But no candle (even made of refined Pain Elemental guts) holds no candle to you. Doom Guy, Doom Guy, no name is required. For if you can live long enough to see, then the only name worthy of such a Droog is simply..... DOOM GUY. Fight your way back to the light. Only to willingly throw yourself back to the fray. The only fray that truly matters. ONCE MORE INTO THE BREACH!!! WAIT!!! NO AMMO, IN ULTRAVIOLENCE!!! Well, a pistol will do and I hold none back for myself! Only one round Incase I find the $ønOFåBîtčh who sent me here. Oh, and he can do whatever he damn well pleases with the damsel in distress, Princess Peach, or Zelda, or even that bimbo at the end of “Dragon’s Lair” (most impossible game ever, after DOOM nightmare mode of course). So if your some sorta maniac, eat tons more madness, sex, anarchy and kickass for a balanced diet. Don’t forget to slather “DOOM” brand Justice all over your family’s breakfast too so the whole family can enjoy in the head-busting, Gut-wrenching, all out destructive, fast paced “Fuck You Fest” brought to you by--- I.D. software, Bethesda, John Ramiro, and the Cothalie Brothers, and many many more psychos who without, we would all live semi-normal lives in search of a fix of DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!! -If ya don’t like my ‘lil homage here, then go suck a Mancubus Phallus. Or just play DOOM on Nightmare and post the video. RULES: 1). Take no damage 2). Only Pistol & Single shot shotgun 3). Beat/best/or near time record 4). NO SAVING!!! 5). No help from coders or cheats 6). DOOM GODS know cheaters! 7). If by chance you suck too hard, play more DOOM, so as to fuck yourselves for me, so I don’t have to. J/K- Just a wee bit of DOOM humor hahaha!!!
Well done. If you would have never mentioned your failed attempts, I would have assumed you breezed through the entire game like a champ. You're still a champ for doing it the whole way on UV without mid-level saves; I wouldn't be able to do that.
If you love the plutonia experiment you must try plutonia 2 (It's based about plutonia but still has original ideas). I love map 15 - where hate runs red. The way to the secret level is very creative but I won't give you more spoilers :)
A bittersweet moment. On the plus side, its a new video. Unfortunately, it also means plutonia is over. Btw? I have liked and commented every plutonia video (which I promised I would)
I got a bug playing this from a UV pistol start in ZDoom - the platform wouldn't rise to its proper height, and I couldn't hit the Romero brain without using freelook. Reloaded and it was okay second time around.
I defeated the Cyberdemon by heading down to the lower passageways and firing from just behind doorway. His rockets couldn't hit me.
Thank you for an incredible journey that you gave us through all these Doom walkthroughs. I found out many new thigs to me about Doom, and completing all four WADs made me play Doom much better.
Thank you for watching, my friend. In the future, I may do a special video showing how to strafe-run and all that. :)
Just finished watching all your doom stuff (official ID). Started with Ultimate Doom, then Doom II, TNT and now Plutonia. Love your videos man--you're the best I've seen.
I definitely found you for the walkthroughs--I couldn't figure out half of the doom II levels haha
Same here. Been watching BigMacDavis's Doom walkthroughs since Ultimate Doom. Well-done!
Daniel Pearson lol same the doom 2 maps were a bit confusing for me
I did almost exactly the same thing as you (same order). The only thing I did extra was play the MasterLevels wad after Doom II. BMD your videos got me through the worst pit of my life. It was the darkest depression I could ever imagine. Thank you so much. I'm in a much better place now though no worries.
Hey! Good to hear, my friend, I am glad! :)
He in a better place... Aka... The next map level... He was stuck on that itschhh till BMD came threw n tossed lil man a bone.
@@ryanschwartz8226 lol
Just finished playing The Plutonia Experiment. I just wanted to say your videos were great man! I would finish a level on my own then come back to see how you handled the difficult parts. I know these videos are old and you might not see this, but keep it up!
Same
5 years later and I'm also studying Big Mac's soloutions for when I get stuck which is quite often.
I wasn't so much drawn to these walkthroughs out of a need to remember where all the secrets and items were, as to just enjoy a real pro at work making mincemeat of the hellspawn with vim and vigour.
These walkthroughs are FUN.
I just beat this game tonight! It’s f**king hard, but your walkthrough helped me a lot. Thank you!!!!
What a manly and badass voice you got there in the beginning of the video.
I am glad to have finished Plutonia, what an awesome game. I agree it is the best of the 4 Doom oficial WADs and thank you BigMacDavis because your videos helped me a lot on some maps where I got lost or missed something, for I aim 100% everything. Congratulations you finished Final Doom.
It's a sad moment for me when your walkthrough ends but I look on the bright side. One door closes and another one opens.
Why doesn't this guy have at least a million subs?
Beyond me man. He's the man
Hey Big mac I wanted to say I missed your stream and wanted to say thank you For helping me out on this journey

Hey man, thank you for the walkthrough, it really helped to get through this campaign. I enjoyed the wad, this videos and your commentary.
Thanks again.
Thanks for all!, finally i managed to finish the whole Final Doom (Evilution+Plutonia) with your Walkthroughs.
Regards.

I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU for your wonderful walkthrough videos, I probably wouldn't be the doom fan I am today without them, and after listening to what you said during the credits in this video, I had to say something too.
the intro sounded epic
Plutonia is difficult even on I’m too young to die. Imagine what Nightmare would be like!
Amazing walkthroughs, and more amazing commentaries. I'm not a fun of talked walkthroughs, but you're many steps beyond the common commentary gamer.
Dude, that intro was some foreboding stuff. 😨
AWESOME!!! 😁
Haha, glad you enjoyed! :)
Wonderful! excellent map, excellent game, excellent title, excellent player...
And for some reason I have an insane amount of enemies vs what is shown here and I die asap
it makes you wonder what would happen if the Casali Brother had worked on "Doom 3" and "Resurrection of Evil"
You are the best walkthrough player and commentator!
You're the best speaker I've ever heard! I really enjoyed watching your videos =)
"While this walkthrough is far from perfect"
What you talking about Jeff I think it's perfect as well as your other walkthroughs!. ^^
This was so rad! Really smart strategy! Thank you for an interesting video! Peace man!
Thanks for these, Davis! Got me through all of Doom I + II + TNT+ Plutonia UV played through GZ Doom :)
I agree, Plutonia is great, likely the best officlal WAD I've played so far.
Really enjoyed watching all your videos. Really really cool dude.
Such a good walk-through man XD I loved it! I can't wait to see what game is coming next!
Hi BigMacDavis, another awesome doom series! Watching your vids is like seeing a good old friend, I look forward to watching your next adventure! Keep it up buddy!
Awww, so great to hear! Thank you! :D
Another fantastic walkthrough complete. I have to say (not sound corny or anything), but these are some of the best walkthroughs I've seen, ever. So helpful, so action-packed, and so much fun to watch and enjoy. Here's to many, many more! :D
Had to use your videos in half the levels in plutonia, thank you for that
Well, @BigMacDavis, after watching and playing along with you through Ultimate Doom, Doom II and all of Final Doom, I feel the need to give you my critique.
Lol, yeah, that sounds funny. But Plutonia, yes, is an awesome Wad.
Thanks for the walk-through. I really don't know how I would have completed Plutonia without it. Well done! Great game!
although this video is *8 yrs old* this has got me to beat this hell hole (no pun intended) of a mega wad and really pushed the limits of my doom skills. i couldn't describe how loud and relieved i was when i killed the final boss lol. oh and i won a bet too XD all this pain and suffering for £50 and it was so worth it. i wanna thank you cuz i sure as hell wouldnt of kept my sanity intact if i didnt take this walk through
great content. im finishing this now in 2023 and was very helpful...
You're wolfenstein 3D walkthrough helped me with first compulsory secret level, that's how I found u!!
It's far from perfect, but I had a wonderful time watching all the maps!
kill the aracnatron in far range
and kill the mancubus in the cage
hey it rhymes
Lol the dramatic intro is awesome
Well, congrats on a job well done, Jeff. One of the more better plutonia walkthroughs out here, and to top it off, you actually make it instructional and fun to do and watch unlike some other walkthroughs where the person doing it is just very monotone and monotnous or however you spell it. BTW, the name is George. ;)
Nice. You helped me beat Doom 1 (1993)! With your tutorials
Thank you very much for this guide it was very fun to watch and very useful
Thank you! I'm glad these guides helped you! :D
9:20 When the Mancubus was about to fire and he died, it looked like a headshot. Boom headshot!!! Wasn't it?
I only played on hurt me plenty but man this last level was just frustrating for me. I couldn't even do it this way. I had to ignore all the enemies, run to the bottom of the stairs, take out the cyber demon with the plasma rifle, then go back up and rocket that thing in the face. I was never a huge fan of the icon of sin from doom 2 either. Great walkthroughs though and thank you. You've helped me through another doom game. I guess I'll try out tnt evilution next.
Thank you for all Doom Secrets und walkthrough. Very very helpfull :)
I'm glad they were, my friend, it's why I made them. :)
Just finished this map (and Plutonia Experiment)!
It seems can get 2 rockets into the exposed brain in one platform raise if you're really lucky with timing - first one as the platform is just about fully raised, and the second one as you begin to fall off.
wow you're very good! you killed it so fast! I'm going to try your strategy
I have been missing ur videos dude.
BTW, I am still looking for a good video capture software which runs under Win XP. Any suggestions, anyone?
I use Fraps. And it worked for me on my old XP machine.
BigMacDavis Great, thank you. I will try it.
Yes, it works. Thank you very much!
I got some issues while using Fraps when I am playing Doom and killing enemies with the plasma rifle. The france rate goes totally down, in game and video, I can't even play. Of course, my machine is old. But can I solve this issue by changing the Fraps configuration?
Thanks brother! Just finished this WAD thanks to you!.. i had to do it on HMP because i could not do UV!
@BigMacDavis
Sir, thanks a BUNCH for these videos.
Wow! So many!!!
I checked your videos and saw you played Scythe after this. So, I'm trying that one now.
Awesome to see more videos from you.
I was never very good at Final Doom the further I got on through the levels got harder and harder to play without god mode and without dying in the game!
Thank you for the help on this level BigMacDavis
awesome walkthough! thx 4 the work, man. love plutonia myself and really enjoyed your videos. gonna watch evilution walkthrough now)
This is going to be a real challenge to play with a Wiimote...
BUT, A REAL MAN PLAYS KEYBOARD ONLY, SO I CAN DO THIS!
That was...fun. Twice I had a Archvile pop up behind me. Uhg.
I can tell you that I liked all of your walk through vid's.
Have you played "Return to Castle Wolfenstein"?
I've blasted him idk how many times and nothing....
Wow, what a journey!
There's a sequel of Doom, Doom 2, and Final Doom called Doom 64, if only you had a Nintendo 64 or other advanced consoles.
Doom 64 for PC is now officially available on Steam.
@@steeveedee4307 cool!
Bigmacdavis: This game is perfect.
Go 2 It: You mean you forgot about me already? I still haunt your dreams
Mount Pain fortunately ain't part of Plutonia. He gave Evilution only a 6/10 overall.
Don’t forget to slather “DOOM” brand Justice all over your family’s breakfast too so the whole family can enjoy in the head-busting, Gut-wrenching, all out destructive, fast paced “Fuck You Fest” brought to you by---
I.D. software, Bethesda, John Ramiro, and the Cothalie Brothers, and many many more psychos who without, we would all live semi-normal lives in search of a fix of DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!
-If ya don’t like my ‘lil homage here, then go suck a Mancubus Phallus. Or just play DOOM on Nightmare and post the video.
RULES:
1). Take no damage
2). Only Pistol & Single shot shotgun
3). Beat/best/or near time record
4). NO SAVING!!!
5). No help from coders or cheats
6). DOOM GODS know cheaters!
7). If by chance you suck too hard,
play more DOOM, so as to fuck yourselves for me, so I don’t have to.
J/K- Just a wee bit of DOOM humor hahaha!!!
Well done. If you would have never mentioned your failed attempts, I would have assumed you breezed through the entire game like a champ. You're still a champ for doing it the whole way on UV without mid-level saves; I wouldn't be able to do that.
looks like you can do it if you know these levels like back of your hand like this.
If you love the plutonia experiment you must try plutonia 2 (It's based about plutonia but still has original ideas). I love map 15 - where hate runs red. The way to the secret level is very creative but I won't give you more spoilers :)
Thanks for video 👍
You're welcome. 🤘
You're the best doom player ever BigMac :)
Awww, thank you, my friend. I'm glad you're enjoying. :)
Hey Mac, thank you for the vids, they helped me a lot!! you know, I crouched and fired to the gatekeeper
You... crouched? In classic Doom?! How did you do that?
Great content Brother BigMacDavis
Yes Jeff. It is an honor, to have you as a friend, looking forward to you struggle, er I mean complete the rest of Ultimate Doom. Hehehe. ;)
Milo designed the last map of Plutonia. Not much to say about it, there are many unreachable weapons and items (single)
The beginning sounds like Goku about to fight the villain of the arc
A bittersweet moment. On the plus side, its a new video. Unfortunately, it also means plutonia is over. Btw? I have liked and commented every plutonia video (which I promised I would)
Good playthrough. I'm going to have to watch this again.
I got a bug playing this from a UV pistol start in ZDoom - the platform wouldn't rise to its proper height, and I couldn't hit the Romero brain without using freelook. Reloaded and it was okay second time around.
wow amazing thank you so much it was very helpful :)
Hey, wonderful, I'm so glad it was! :)
I thought there were two more levels after this, are they secret levels?
Can you post the credits roll of the full Doom Classic Complete collection for PS3? I think my name might be in the credits roll.
