I spent 20 minutes stuck with 100% everything but still couldn't find the red key switch to drop the bars to exit the darn level.. this video saved me a migraine 😅 Thank you for all these detailed guides!
Aww shucks. Thanks for that shout-out, buddy! That was real nice of ya. Man, I don't know what to say. :D But I do have a question, did you record at a higher framerate? This video seems different than the others in terms of FPS.
Wow! I find your comments funny and witty, as usual. Especially with the Revenants that keep firing rockets and take a long time to die. Also, LOLed at the "Son of a torch" comment and the stoned Cacodemon. Oh, and "Bye Bye American Pie" plays in the background too. Anyways, nice vid.
You have to wonder if the uncle that calls this map "The Penis", is the same Uncle Morris who bought BMD that $50 headset. It's quite possible. Great video either way. :)
One thing that I dont like with Casali brothers level designing is how inconsistent they are with damaging floors. One second the blood hurts, the other it doesnt.
The BFG and Shotgun at the beginning I guess were there for the ambush reason. Around 5:30, don't wanna get gangbanged, nope that doesn't sound like something you wanna do. There's alot of health bonuses in the map, and quite a bit of health, and ammo I think. Well your Uncle had quite a descriptive opinion, lol. Excellent work dude.
This map is pretty big and has lots of revenants! Most of those ambushes were pretty nasty, but you still took very little damage from them! You still had a spare Megaarmour!
I turned off the game music in darkness and had Slayer's Reign in Blood in my earphone. Not bad. This map is a mess unless you find the megasphere secret. You need that 200 health at some point. You can shoot down two revenants on your way to the yellow key easily behind the bars before you flip the switch at 12.00 Not a big deal but why not :)
That Pain Elemental at 13:25 reminds me of that Cacodemon in your Ultimate DOOM E2M7-Spawning Vats video. In both you were standing across from each respective floating monster with it staring at you, but neither could see you.
I gotta say, that's the most fun part of the partial invisibility. Especially to be invisible while a monster stares through you & then surprise them with a BFG blast! :D
Shit, replaying Plutonia now and I'm at this level at the moment. It's really amazing, and much more difficult than pretty much anything from between levels 13-21. Only "Impossible Mission" brings the difficulty back to what it was in the first couple of levels in Plutionia. And yeah, it's a gorgeous level, just like Map 22 was. Definitely my favorites.
I also noticed at 4:49 the unique & tricky monster placement. Upon opening that 2nd door a Hell Knight, which has half the hit points of the Barons on either side of it, is placed between the Barons & Revenants. This means nailing the Hell Knight with the BFG blast will kill it, but the stronger monsters on either side of it will be left standing.
19:27 I think this is actually the red switch, not the yellow one ;) 19 minutes talking... I can understand that of course. Btw great job with this map, you got very low damage even with the large number of enemies and dangerous traps
i'm a big fan of doom, i remember playing doom for the first time and i thought to my self "this game is very good ". i also love to play doom 2 and 3.
On the aisles, save those health bonuses and armored because you’ll need to later on.. so far so good I just got stuck in an area but pretty nice👍👍👍 also you’ll see more health bonuses so save those one for the rainy day at the end so you can have a 200% just a thought
Hey...BigMac....what kind of controller do you use for your game-play? I strictly use the keyboard. I'm use to it, but I'm certainly not as 'quick' as you are with the strafing! Love the videos.....you are my go-to-source for all things DOOM. Thanks for all your efforts.
yeah, pretty much. oh, and the room at the 5:00 mark in your video where you used the BFG? What you could've done, was activate the enemies, backtrack back out into the hallway, and use either the Rocket Launcher or Plasma Gun. while opening-and-closing the door to avoid fireballs and Revenant missiles (providing you don't accidentally eat your own rocket in the process)
With that revenant its kind of like the arachnotron on the left in o of destruction (doom 2, map 11 right before the first archvile encounter). That arachnotron will not attack you. You can even punch him out
somehow i did everything but this blue switch that blocks the end teleporter. for anyone else that makes this same mistake 14:37 is for the blue switch
I like this map, why? Because this is the only map I like the colors of, most of the other maps mostly only have these ugly washed out colors, and this is the only map that stands out to me. My only complaint is the music.
Wow I like your walk through's and will check out Lightningboltforever's site. I was unable to get ZDOOM to work. Probably I used the wrong link. If one of your other subscriber's know which of the many links will work. Please send me the link.
Well that's odd. I look at the recommended for you bit in the top left, and they're recommending one of my own videos to me. The hell TH-cam. I know what happens. That said, those Revenant rockets have now successfully figured out how to turn on a dime. God help us all.
What I don't like is the inconsistency of damaging floors. Why does blood hurt in some places and not in others? Previously I found lava floor and acid that didn't hurt. Just why? Just make them do the same thing consistently over the entire game, it frustrates the hell our of me.
After all those mad ambushes, the map has such a boring end to it. Oh noes, a few fat floaties before the teleporter to the final room and in it is...... just an exit? Sorry, but it seemed like such a waste of one last potential ambush. Not that it's a bad map, I quite like it.
It is long and hard and will screw you at every turn. I cheat a lot. My grand daughter likes to watch me play these games, and if I don't cheat and get killed or ambushed by surprise. Well my language is not suitable for 11 year old ears. When I am invulnerable I just laugh instead of cuss.
No offense but your voice and tone sounds like an automated call system lmao "This hallway has a number of health bonuses. If you go down the hallway you will get the health bonuses." Press 2 to repeat
Have you checked out Noah's Ark 3D? It's horrible. It's a complete rip off of Wolfenstein 3D. Wisdom Tree couldn't make their own game for lack of creativity
Probably the prettiest map in Plutonia though. I love the techbase/hellish meld, it reminds me of Shores of Hell a lot.
@Felipe Gomes most of Plutonia is ugly and over-reliant on the new textures brough in by the Casalis. It does grow on you though
I spent 20 minutes stuck with 100% everything but still couldn't find the red key switch to drop the bars to exit the darn level.. this video saved me a migraine 😅
Thank you for all these detailed guides!
7:50 What a nice triple kill :)
9:35 "that stupid son of a torch" that really gave me the giggles
0:57 You finally did after a decade.
Aww shucks. Thanks for that shout-out, buddy! That was real nice of ya. Man, I don't know what to say. :D But I do have a question, did you record at a higher framerate? This video seems different than the others in terms of FPS.
LightningBoltForever I'll be checking your playthrough later.
One of my favourite maps in Plutonia.
I like that they put the exact same music in this map 23 of Plutonia Experiment as they did in map 23 of doom II also. Very nice touch!
Very rewarding map.
This map rewards the player if you have patience.
This is a very good map, I think. Nice design and really requires a commitment.
Really well designed, absolutely.
13:28 In vanilla based source ports, idle monsters will still be alerted to the player while Partial Invisibility is active.
9:45 LMAO`d. That Cacodemon sure took too much drugs, whatever drugs are in Hell xD
Colorful Hell makes this map a million times more fun
You have to wonder if the uncle that calls this map "The Penis", is the same Uncle Morris who bought BMD that $50 headset. It's quite possible. Great video either way. :)
The very same one. I only have one uncle. :)
One thing that I dont like with Casali brothers level designing is how inconsistent they are with damaging floors. One second the blood hurts, the other it doesnt.
Thank goodness this is still up as I had no idea about that red switch.
I remember this. What a tough and big map, with those revenant traps. Btw, Millo is its creator
Excellent work dude.
yeah man this map is confusing and full of traps and kinda reminds me of E1M7 of Ultimate Doom
This map is pretty big and has lots of revenants! Most of those ambushes were pretty nasty, but you still took very little damage from them!
You still had a spare Megaarmour!
"Tombstone" is obviously Beavis and Butthead's favorite map in Doom history for obvious reasons
Good morning BigMacDavis thank you for the help on this map brother
I always hated that revenant and archvile trap on this map... revenants and archviles are never a good thing together.
odysseyofnoises archviles are never a good thing
That Pain Elemental at 13:25 reminds me of that Cacodemon in your Ultimate DOOM E2M7-Spawning Vats video. In both you were standing across from each respective floating monster with it staring at you, but neither could see you.
Just letting u know bigmac, I've subbed to Lightningboltforever, I'm watching through his SoD videos now!
Watching this in 2019 while doing a 4 WAD no death run with Project Brutality 3.0
121 out of 130 maps done
Oh, wow, good luck to you.
@@BigMacDavis Thank you! Just got through Bunker
I gotta say, that's the most fun part of the partial invisibility. Especially to be invisible while a monster stares through you & then surprise them with a BFG blast! :D
That was really quick. Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it.
Shit, replaying Plutonia now and I'm at this level at the moment. It's really amazing, and much more difficult than pretty much anything from between levels 13-21. This is like a better version of Administration Centre in TNT
That stupid red switch...thank you Mac Davis.
i'm a big fan of doom, i remember playing doom for the first time and i thought to my self "this game is very good ". i also love to play doom 2 and 3.
I think the floating red things are skull pillars, but i always thought they looked more like lava frogs.
On the aisles, save those health bonuses and armored because you’ll need to later on.. so far so good I just got stuck in an area but pretty nice👍👍👍 also you’ll see more health bonuses so save those one for the rainy day at the end so you can have a 200% just a thought
This map looks awesome
I don't think its weird, bigmac. A story: I've been watching baseball since 1993. I've never had a team that I've liked go to the playoffs. The end.
Hey...BigMac....what kind of controller do you use for your game-play? I strictly use the keyboard. I'm use to it, but I'm certainly not as 'quick' as you are with the strafing!
Love the videos.....you are my go-to-source for all things DOOM.

This map Looks awesome
20:00 is there a spectre that makes bfg blast??
With that revenant its kind of like the arachnotron on the left in o of destruction (doom 2, map 11 right before the first archvile encounter). That arachnotron will not attack you. You can even punch him out
Your uncle has a sense of humor.
Crazy map
Son of a torch, going to use that as my new insult. People will be enlightened when I use it on them XD
Thanks bro.
Yeah this map Is Full of traps but I like it's Designe alot
Hey bigmac is back :). Awesome video. I HOPE u didn't know anyone impacted from yesterdays mayhem
This map was a small pain for me to get all them items. Also Archviles suck.
It seems like the gameplay in this video is much higher in FPS than every other (classic) walkthrough you’ve done lol - Not sure why that’d be..
We got a video, and a win!
@19:36 they are actually both Yellow doors. :)
Sorry should have included "terrible joke alert" haha. I like this map and has the second highest monster count in Plutonia with 196 monsters.
somehow i did everything but this blue switch that blocks the end teleporter. for anyone else that makes this same mistake 14:37 is for the blue switch
I like this map, why? Because this is the only map I like the colors of, most of the other maps mostly only have these ugly washed out colors, and this is the only map that stands out to me. My only complaint is the music.
Im on it now
This map is obnoxious with the maze-like nature, the difficult enemies, combined with the lack of ammo/health.
9:53 they were only monsters drugs ;)
20:19 I have the red key but there are red bars around the level exit. What did I miss?
Most likely you forgot to press the red switch at 19:23 - I call it the yellow switch by accident.
You're always getting hit by the Revenants' rockets. 😐
I love the pain. I wish they hit me harder... harder...
Shout me out please, I'm about to do my walkthrough of D2 on Uv challenge NO DAMAGE!
the symmetry is really annoying since it makes it hard to know where you are.
I can do Wolf 3D, Duke 3D and DooM 1, 2 and 3
Gee Geq has no videos currently showing. :-(
This map sucks. I got lost in it so many times, just wandering around aimlessly, looking for that one thing or door...
Giggity
Refresh the page? What browser are you using? TH-cam messes up with firefox sometimes.
The music is Alice in Chains them bones
or if you just wanna conserve as much health as you can
Duke Nukem [after ripping off the Cyberdemon's head and shitting down its neck]: ***whistles his own theme song***
Bmd why does the BPS of the chaingun sucks so much?
Pretty slow for a chaingun, to be honest.
Wow I like your walk through's and will check out Lightningboltforever's site.

These maps weren't made to be consistent or follow any theme. Welcome to plutonia.
After all those mad ambushes, the map has such a boring end to it. Oh noes, a few fat floaties before the teleporter to the final room and in it is...... just an exit? Sorry, but it seemed like such a waste of one last potential ambush. Not that it's a bad map, I quite like it.
I cannot get the video to play past 2:42. Anyone else?
I think this is the kind of games where you have to learn every single corner of the maps to play good
Man, you had way too many shells and used your Chaingun too much.
childs play
#DoomGuyDavis
Man, I fucking hated this map. By the way, are you playing without mouse?
It is long and hard and will screw you at every turn. I cheat a lot. My grand daughter likes to watch me play these games, and if I don't cheat and get killed or ambushed by surprise. Well my language is not suitable for 11 year old ears. When I am invulnerable I just laugh instead of cuss.
