Just bought this stuff after watching your review. It's wonderful. This device is much more fun to play with than manually editting midi notes on virtual drums.
I have a problem with choking the crashes. I get all excited during a fill and bury my finger on the crash pad and it chokes….more practice. Soon I’ll post something and dedicate it to you for all the ideas.
I think this is all modular muscle memory stuff, basically... Aside from seeing drum charts and listening to it and kind of knowing what people are doing, a lot of the manual dexterity for me just comes from playing guitar
Thanks, no there's no additional thing happening. Well I mean the only thing that I'm doing is recording it then ripping the audio off and then taking it into the audio software and then you know bringing up the level, and then finally just using a hard limiter or soft limit or depending on what kind of music it is. It's just basically making what I did a lot louder so that it meets the standards we're used to seeing for video and audio production
