New Order Blue Monday came into my head even though it's not. I cant help but think that using a drum machine like that would aid the average guitar player if utilized enough to improve ones finger tapping, dexterity of and understanding of rhythm..

Right. I got into it because I wanted to have more realistic and responsive to what's taking place on different recordings -type drums. Not only was programming all this intricate drum stuff extremely time-consuming but it didn't really yield the type of results that I wanted to have in the end either.

this is great!! i just got my FGDP30, can you direct me to what you think is the best way to learn how to start? any idea will be helpful

I need to do an introduction to the fgdp layout type video... In the meantime, I think just simple 8th and 16th beats are a good place to start. I was literally stealing stuff from Colaiuta and others.... But then again I've been finger drumming with other units before I got this.

btw did you change the trigger sensitivity on this kit or in general? i feels like it's much softer drumming
