This is terribly simple, folks. If you must say something about someone’s haircut, the socially acceptable thing to say is “oh, I see you’ve had your hair cut. It looks nice.” If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Perhaps say something about trains instead.
Hi G. Just started watching your videos. Absolutely love them. Very interesting and fantastic to see a gorgeous young lady presenting such train videos. You're a natural talented presenter. Keep posting.
Hi G, nice play on the random station game, nice views, some nice flowing water and the 'Knicker Song' in Welsh, what more could you ask for. Looking forward to the next one, stay safe.
Brilliant video G, good old Cardiff and the Valleys, it's amazing that area is. It's funny how Rhoose Cardiff International Airport is a longer station name than that station for the welsh village with the really long name lol. Good old noisy 150 sprinters as well lol.
what a brilliant game im loving all the stations featured & i did a Cardiff & the Valleys day ranger when i visited Cardiff but on my second trip to the city to sample some of the valley lines & its a great ticket to have & brilliant shots of the TfW FLIRTS brilliant vlog
What a fun idea with some interesting rules! Certainly gave us lots of train action in a fast paced video. Worth doing this in other places in the future.
A great watch G nice ideas u come up with everytime always like your trips around the Cardiff area and the Vale of Glamorgan line and those views of the sea at Rhoose 👍🙂
Great vlog G. Some nice stations visited. Sarn almost like your saying Sam lol. I’ve passed through Dinas Powys but never got off. I enjoyed watching as always!
Good video. The only thing I will say is that Ninian Park is the name of Cardiff's old Football Stadium. The new one is called Cardiff City Stadium. Lots of lovely places to visit on the Valley Lines if you ever go back. I'd recommend Barry Island for the Beach, Caerphilly for the Castle and Taff's well for the views and lovely independent Cheese Shop.
Although I live near St.Helens Merseyside now you passed where I use to live at Rhoose - Cardiff international airport … Brought back a lot of memories around that area seeing your video😊
Always great to add fun into your videos! So many loud 150's about! The 153's remind me of the 155's which Northern between Harrogate, York and Hull. Great video, G! Enjoyed watching this one!
You really did do the obscure part of the Valleys network. Maybe come back in the summer and just do the core valley lines and ignore Vale of Glamorgan, Maesteg and Ebbw Vale lines. Then you will definitely get a 231 and the 756's. BTW the building used to be the dock offices for the Barry Docks, I believe they are now owned by the Vale of Glamorgan council. Great fun though.
Have you seen the TfW Class 398 Citylink tram-trains. They are lot different from Sheffield Supertram Class 399. And the Class 197 Civity and Class 231 and Class 756 FLIRTS are quite nice.
I can’t wait to see the Class 398 Citylink tram-train and Class 756 Tri-mode Flirt trains in service. And the Class 197 Civity and Class 231 Flirt are very nice trains. Bet you are still gutted to see the Class 175 Coradia trains going since they have been replaced by the Class 197.
Another great way of doing random station videos, and I never realised there are countryside views at Dinas Powys That sarn-dwich looked delicious as well 🤣
good fun video. all the 170s are now gone to EMR but TfW kept the 3 cars for a while but 2 has been but 1 is still in cardiff just not doing anything for some reason
Thanks for the video G,and Lucy, love the game can go and find plenty of new places to visit. I was going to do it though the alphabet but live near Brighton and it was Aberdeen lol, a bit expensive 😅 😎🚃🇬🇧❤️
I would definitely recommend coming back and doing that again later in the year once the 398 tram trains are in service. Longer days, better trains and more places to go. and if you reach a dead end by there being no stations starting with that letter, move to the next letter on perhaps?
Hi GLoves, sorry not been posting much over the last few months I have not been too well. Have been watching your Vlogs and you have still got the wow factor, liked your Christmas Special in the railway sleeper, still think you should be on the TV with your own show. Keep up the exceptional, outstanding, excellent and most brilliant work, Happy New Year and kind regards Mark-Edwyn. 🚂🚃🚃
Ninian park the football ground was actually demolished around 2009 the stadium on the right is called the cardiff city football stadium the old stadium was on the left just over the road and are now houses right where you mentioned it
You have another alphabet game : start at Barry Island on one service and see how far in alphabet order you can get. Barry - Cadoxton - Dinas Powys - Eastbrook- Grangetown - etc
Great video must have been a good day on the valleys with no cancellations!!! Got a file here which I keep letters from t f w with delay repay claims getting quite a thick file 😁!!!!
Always a great watch seeing you videos especially when you try to pronounce the names Cadoxton done it for me 😂😂 should have stayed on to Barry Island not to sure you been there but if not you would have beeb right by the sea front.
That part of South Wales certainly feels like mass 150 territory - even more so than some Northern routes, which is saying something. Platform 1a at Bridgend was intriguing too, they could have gone full Platform 0 with that instead and added to the increasing Platform 0 list. Looks like you and Lucy had a good time G, that day ranger ticket certainly is useful.
The route to Merthyr aberdare treherbert is only passed for 150 s north of radyr now pacers have gone but will change with the 398 entering service there is talk of using the 756 units on the route as a short term measure
Maybe start at Aber and try to do a station with every letter of ( English ) alphabet. Doesn’t have to start with it . Thus Cadoxston for the X , Queen Street for Q etc
Ninian Park is no longer the home of Cardiff City, they moved out a good few years ago. Amazed to see any of it standing so perhaps another club has moved in. Great vid.
Ninian Park stadium isn’t still standing, it’s now a housing estate. It’s Cardiff City Stadium that’s in view and is very close to where Ninian Park stadium was.
Great content as usual G. Cardiff was my city of birth. So Cardiff Central automatically being the best station in the UK for me😊 Unlucky for landing at Ninian Park for a K station. This video will terminate here😂
