The bumper looks good. Makes the fog lights useless though. Recessed lights like that will destroy the width… which is the point of them haha. I’m thinking in light just do the nyshop hybrid bumper. Also you need a bigger garage lol
That's great that they hooked you up with a sample piece... but every other owner out there has to spend $1000-1200+ for a bumper with hooks, after already paying a severe premium price for such lack of features.. If Toyota was ever trying to get Ford/Ram/GM owners to switch to their brand, they missed the mark horribly the last couple of years.. no remote start, a huge hump in the rear floorboard, and unremovable storage containers that take up way too much room under the seat.. Toyota really could have won over a lot of folks with their new exterior and interior, but they fucked up bad on the lack of features for the price they charge for these trucks. More expensive than Ford/Ram/GM trucks that all have more features than this Tundra.
I have a 2023 Tundra Limited, and I am wondering where you got the rear recovery hooks/mounts? I have the bolt on AFE ones on the front, but I eventually want a winch so I may do something like you have done. We have a company in town that you may have heard of that has been making bumpers, skid plates ect. CBI, and I may get their Covert bumper that is very similar to what you have installed with the SmittyBuilt recovery hook partial bumper. I would like to get the rear recover hooks also. Thank you in advance.

Truck is coming along good but the wheels ain’t it sadly. Methods, Fuels, Raceline, KMC, MVX would be good choices since your doing a off-road look on this build! And drop down to some 17’s! 😤💪🏻

When building a grandpa truck 35's are KEY! My Gramps won't run anything larger then a 35. He says, as close to stock is the way to go.
A truck you have to disassemble to add tow hooks that should be there from the factory.

Get an aftermarket multi fold tailgate
New bumper almost makes the front of the tundra acceptable. The wheels aren’t for me but we all get to have our own taste.
