Im trying to find a way to turn off the seatbelt chime. I wear my seatbelt unless im backing up a trailer or im out in a field on my property where a seatbelt isn’t needed. The chime is annoying. Im considering unplugging a little connector under the seat that appears to be attached to the seatbelt to see if that takes care of it but im a little concerned it could make something else mess up potentially but who knows
Ya, it's freaking terrible. Don't unplug it since it is also connected to your SRS and will throw your airbag codes, and that's a whole mess. I also asked my dealer about getting rid of the chimes and being able to put the car in drive with the door open without the car freaking out and slamming on the E break. My service advisor is looking into it and said I would have to sign a release, so I hope they find a way to turn off the chimes!
R unable to remove the skid plate with the recovery shackles installed? I know Toyota designed them to be able to slide out on one side without removing all the bolts, but seeing how close the shackles are u might have to remove everything
Glad you shared this. It's been one of my several gripes with the new Tundra. This looks like an affordable and easy fix to their glaring omission. Because of how far back these sit from the front bumper overhang, I worry if they were needed that any rope / chain would likely damage the front bumper unless the rope / chain was pulling straight out. Any incline or upward angle would put it right into the bumper.
Really? Is it enough? I want to get the set but worried about the front bumper. Let me know! if it really does help I'll buy hooks and the soft shackle! thanks! @@OutdoorLifestyleOverland
Great Mod! I just bought a base SR Tundra and for me to sign the deal I requested the same hooks! dealer accepted and installed them, can't wait to try them out!
What’s on your grill for the color?

Yes, you can remove the skid plate without removing the shackles
Once the slack comes out of the cable/chain thats towing you, you can kiss your front end goodbye. Gonna rip ur bumper right off.
Last I checked my front bumper is still intact
@@OutdoorLifestyleOverlandI also thought that the front bumper might come off or damaged by the cable/chain that's pulling you...
What trim is ur tundra ?
It's a Limited TRD Off-Road

The tow hooks offer a reassuring sense of security in case of getting stuck
Very informative
Thanks!!!
Dig the red. Won’t that be a pain in the ass to actually use them though? Pretty far back?
Need for the 4Runner.
Good stuff by AFE✊🏼

I attached a soft shackle to one of the tow hooks, and that gave me a lot more leeway when needing a recover
