In recap from this analysis Gears of War is a breathtaking, Epic Blockbuster scale story for a video game and this eliminates underrating the game has been given by luckily few but mostly positive metacritic scores among XBOX Exclusives. Truly one of the best Gaming Franchises in History!!!
This really helped me get caught up as a newcomer to Gears of War 4. I can tell this took a lot of work, and should really have more views. If I didn't see the views/subscribers I would guess your channel has at least 50k subscribers. Good voice too! If you ever need any help let me know

Was playing split screen coop with my best friend when we watched Dom die… we both cried a little and took a moment of silence for the fallen comrade. I never would have thought I would have been so emotionally involved in a game. Great series
Karen Traviss wrote the books and they are criminally underrated Also it may seem stupid that Adam infected himself but the book- the Slab gives a damn good reason for why he did it. Absolutely terrific writing

Think what we all miss about gears and halo is that we aren't on the back foot anymore. I mean in gears the world is almost all destroyed and we have no chance to win. Pretty much the same with the first halos but now we are the stronger ones in the fight and personally I think it's more of an impacting game when you are the one who has no chance and only just holding on.
I also miss the games being genuine and of good quality,it's just a name brand for Microsoft now,they will never receive the same attention to detail and care that epic and bungie gave to their own creations,their own pride and joy
I honestly think Swarm design and idea are shitty, under developed, those shitty crystals are so lame, main characters are silly, plot even worse. Gears 4 is moneygrabbing and unrespectful for any real fan. Better end it in Gears of War 3, even if the ending was shitty af. And I'm not even a multiplayer fan. I've always played it for the incredible campaign, the collectibles with secret infos and the dark/gore design. First of all, not enough Marcus and Delta. Gears 4 story felt very under developed. Remember Gears 1 and 2 the story was great. Going deeper and deeper into the locust. The vile creatures you see in the prologue. Destroying cities killing soldiers. It really felt like you were fighting a war that ment something. Now just feels like a quick adventure for Kait and his friends(and her feminist meaning). I didn't make any emotional connections. So when that girls mom died I felt zero. But yet when Maria died. I felt like someone died in my family. You barely knew her, but you loved Dom because he was your brother. Always by your side. Middle of the locust HQ and he's mowing down with you. So when he lost someone, and have to do it by his own hand, you felt it. You felt that sadness in the games tension. Another example, Tai killed himself, I dropped my controller. I remember the exact moment. I felt utter despair. And don't even get me started and when Dom died. Discovering Locust's queen was human, discovering locustsI were not the bad ones... their origins and CoG behaviour. I think TRUE gear fans get the gist of my point. Also this new Swarm thing, is really bad characterized and designed. Feels like a bad copy of Gears of War. And a bad copy of Locusts. Main characters are so lame and stupid. I got a feelin they'll kill even MARCUS...
I'm finally about to get around to Gears 4, and since I missed out on Gears 3 this was just what I needed and way more! Much appreciated! I LOVED the first 2 games and hate not experiencing first-hand how the 3rd one did my man Dom justice in how they sent him off.

Hey, wasn't the first Gears of War originally intended to be an Unreal game? The Locusts look a lot like the Skaarj from those games but without the tusks.
Surrounded by lambent with no hope of escaping on top of a gas station (where they were trying to get fuel). Dom took the truck and smashed it into the canisters killing all the enemies
I alwasy tought about it. Marcus and Dom kept shootin and slaughtering hordes of drones and brumaks and all of a sudden only because is a cutscene, they justrunouttammo(?) Wtf? And he sacrifice himself? Really? Soo wasted... plus, couldn't they just run out and escape? Better, he could have died against a boss or the queen, making Marcus even more angrier and givin to him a more honorable death.

Why did the locust attack originally... e-day. What was their motivation? Clearly they knew the pendulum wars weakened humanity, but we didnt know of the horde so why would they attack us?
They needed to leave there tunnels underground to escape the imulsion so they attacked cause there wasn't enough room in the above ground for locust and humans
