I found nidhog being the protector of the roots of the world free in God of war to be rather interesting as in the versions of the story that I had personally read nidhog did the exact opposite and was actively harming the roots of the world tree.

Hold on... I totally forgot about how time travel worked in GOW II. Does that mean Kratos actually died, and the version we see in GOW III and the Norse Saga is actually a different Kratos from an alternate timeline? Are there any repercussions for this? Yeah... probably not...

I'd been thinking of unsubbing from Gameranx for a while, I feel their content and production values have dropped. Your issues with them stealing your work is the nail in that coffin. As much as we may dislike the TH-cam algorithm at times, it did lead me to your channel. Now to settle in for the next, almost, 3 hours, to catch up on, at least, the original GoW story, before continuing on with GoW 2018, and then getting GoW: Ragnarok. Side note, I'm up to the part of GoW 2018 where it links to the original games.
How is it that Kratos kills Persephone and Demeter doesn't plunge the world into an eternal winter, like she did when Persephone went missing. Come on, You know Demeter, the goddess of the harvest, plant life and seasons. Aka Persephone's over protective mother. The whole reason seasons exist in Greek mythology is because Persephone disappeared/ got kidnapped by hades. She ate from the realm of the dead so she was bound to it, but Zuse, Hades, Demeter, and Persephone came to an agreement that Posephone will be on Olympus half the year and the other half in hades. Making Persephone not just the Queen of the underworld but also the goddess of spring. Seriously she just minds her own business in these games when Kratos killed her daughter. Surly she would be on the war path with that info.
