Aloha 🤙🏾. This brought back some great memories, I love Hawaii! The strip there is always buzzing with great entertainment and as you said the food is incredible. I now need to go back. Enjoy, save travels and mahalo 🤙🏾
We stayed at the Alohilani Resort when we went a few years ago and it was pretty decent. I was shocked at the amount of homelessness on Waikiki beach. Outside of the strip most areas resembled rundown parts of southern California. Honolulu is nice overall but if you're looking for the quintessential Hawaii experience Maui is your best bet.
I bought the holocard for $30 of unlimited bus rides anywhere in the island. Also, the skyline which is an elevated train will in a few years connect to the airport and take you to the west side of the island. I hope it will connect to Waikiki soon as well which is on the East side of the island.
If you're coming to Hawaii, if you can.....rent a car. Travel to North Shore and drive around and see things that most don't get to see here. Try local small diners, they have some of the BEST plates at really good prices.....plenty of food as well!
I live in Kapolei, 25 minutes West of Honolulu(locals call it Town). If you ever get a chance to come back to Oahu. I would highly recommend staying at the Marriott Ko `Olina Beach and Spa Club in Kapolei. I have a timeshare there since 2003. You don't hae to worry about all the crowds and busy traffic.
Esta vez iremos desde Chile a Oahu por un mes con mi marido siempre nos falta tiempo para disfrutar de las bondades de Honolulu será nuestra sexta vez y esperamos no sea la última..Aloha
Cool vacay video Queen! I can tell ever so slightly on Your golf swing that You want to lift up that driver like You are at home plate! I'm betting a minimum of 250 yards on Your first swing! And im guessing You can blast a softball around 300 feet back in Your Morgan State college days! With legs that muscular (because power comes from Your legs on Your swing; but You knew that already) I'll put money down that You can still hit a 300 foot shot to the stands! Queen of Power!!💪😉⚾👑
I did!! And it was hard to tell, but that shot ended up landing like 2 feet from the pin. 🥳 I have a nasty slice in my swing and it’s because of my softball swing I can’t get rid of. 😆😎🤷🏾♀️ But oh well, I still get over 200 yards on my drive. Leg work! 💪🏽
Srry, while i did enjoy the video, I've actually lived in Hawaii on the North Shore of Oahu in a town called Wailua, and this just doesn't represent the whole picture. While the island is a beautiful place with an amazing culture and cuisine, there is a lot of poverty and inequality taking place all over. Not to mention the absurd cost of living purposely being promoted by the Japanese and Korean corporations that run the tourism business there. I can't stress enough how blatant the stark contrast there is between rich and poor there is on the island. I say this only to remind who visit the island to just avoid the hotels and tourist traps like Waikiki and go to the local spots and get the whole experience.
I understand what you are saying and see no lies told. All true. However, This video isn’t meant to represent all of O’ahu. Or Hawaii. Only Honolulu and what to expect when visiting. Just as the title and thumbnail states. 🤷🏾♀️
hope you having fun on my island! fyi waikiki mostly cost more than the rest of the island, better deals outside of waikiki. also waikiki is pronounced like "why-key-key" :)

Kona is the best place to visit in HI. Hawaiians call Kona their happy place. Kona doesn’t have a night life which I am sure you would miss. 🤙🌺🐬☀️
