    I was so inspired by this video I actually went to Walmart and bought the things I thought I needed to make this little guy. Working on him now. You make it look so easy. I have never embroidered before, so I might have bitten off more than I can chew with this one but I could not help it. Your so talented. I so need your videos in my life. Lol

      god i hope this isn’t super weird, but i see it’s been a year-did you follow through? if so, how’d it turn out? i’m an illustrator and i’ve been thinking about trying needlework myself, this artist is super inspiring, i’m just nervous to take the leap and buy the supplies so i thought i’d ask someone like yourself that actually did! 😂🥰

      I sure did try it. There is a learning curve for sure, but I still enjoyed making it. I had to start over 3 times because I felt I ruined what I had done in some way or another. Hahaha. But I finally finished it and I thought it looked great. I enjoyed it so much I fid a tiny bird and then a rabbit head. I do so many other crafts that I find it hard to make the time all the things I want to make. Lol, go for it. I had to watch the video many times over but it was fun and challenging. Oh, it is really a very small investment to do this. under 10.00 bucks or so at Walmart. I am happy I did.

    The "fluff" work on here is serious and the rest of the moth work is breathing. Beautiful (❁´◡`❁)

    Thank you so much for sharing. This is exquisite 😍
    P.S.: your simple text naming the stitches and number of thread plus the close-up really helps understanding the structure and the way about making the embroidery. Really inspiring.

    Did you cut off the extra two knots in the end? I just wanted to know cause I'm going to make this for someone and i just dont want the whole thing to come apart when I cut them off.

    • @miaarcher9984
      @miaarcher9984 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes you can cut them off! They’re called “Away Knots” I believe. You can search that term here on TH-cam and there are many videos explaining how they work! Your work won’t come apart after cutting them.

    Moths are cutest ❤ I dunno why some ppl feel gross around them. They just adorable creatures ❤

    • @mydogeatspuke
      @mydogeatspuke ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably because their flight pattern is erratic and often directly at your face, and their wings are dusty. Most aren't cute and fluffy like this either, they're brown and like to eat your clothes and your pantry goods and your carpets, which isn't nice and is actually quite gross, especially when you get a larvae infestation.

    Also me: Ahhh, stop cutting it. Oh no what are you doing? Stop cutting! Stop cutting! Stop cutting!
    5 minutes later....
    Stop cutting!
    Oh wait, it looks great. Nevermind...

    Beautiful moth but I almost left because of the music which didn't fit at all IMHO. I love classical music but this really grates. A real shame.
