    Thank you so much for the tutorial on how to embroider moss! I love moss, and was hoping to be able to embroider it onto an item of clothing, for aesthetic reasons. You have really inspired me to give this a try!

    A pleasure to watch. Really enjoy the way you just get on with it with no messing about and take us through the process fluently. When you do the whispy bits they are not secured at the back in any way - is this correct ? Will they not fall out ?

    Oh! How cute and a neat idea. I never thought of placing thread over a needle then cutting it for an effect like that. I love watching your videos. I have finally found needles with large enough eyes for ribbon. I don't know why in a large city I live in it is so hard to find large eye needles for ribbon. A friend of mine at church gave me a tote full of embroidery thread and items to do. Now I am hooked and am glad for your videos. Thanks so much.

    Thank you are a master. These effects will be so useful. Woops I should have said Mistress of the needle. You have inspired me to get out my silk ribbon and make beautiful projects.

    I loved watching you work. I have been doing embroidery since I was a young girl and silk ribbon embroidery since the mid 90's. You have added some nice touches for me to try. I hope I'm subscribed so I'll get updates. I'll visit your site soon I'd love to order some new necessities!

    It's beautiful. ❤ lovely colour selection...BUT it's NOT Stumpwork...that's a whole lot of French Knots and seed beads

      I do have psychic abilities it is true, although they are not all that brilliant as I have so far failed to pick winning lottery numbers xxxx Hope your moss goes well.

    I love the way you use the promarkers to colour the silks. The purchase coloured ribbons would be very expensive.

    Thank you so so much! I'm mending a pair of pants that got ripped in the knee and I thought it'd look cool if it looked like moss was growing where the rip was. I'll probably skip the beads and stray threads, but that's a concern of durability, not because I don't like it.

    How do you stop the short cut pieces from coming out? If I used this on a piece of clothing won’t they come out?

    It seems like the little whispy stitches could pull out easily... how do you prevent that? Are stumpwork kits available for beginners?

    • @wwpaperprintablescom
      @wwpaperprintablescom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, they could pull out easily but the same can be said for yanking on any embroidery thread. they are generally in there tight enough not to come out during regular handling as the stitches around make the fabric weave tighter than is usual. Sorry but we do not have stumpwork kits for beginners available.

      You could always cut the whispy ones longer and tie them, and trim if needed
