- Join me as I take a walk through my new neighbourhood in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, and head to a local supermarket for a grocery run. The supermarket is called Yaoko, which is a new one to me. It’s a peaceful Sunday afternoon just before sunset, and I wanted to show you what life is like here compared to my old home in Osaka.
Once we've finished up at Yaoko I head back to the apartment and I'll take you through my Japanese grocery haul, featuring snacks, fresh produce, and local favourites. Stick around until the end to see everything I picked up!

👍 Great, what i wanted to see.
very nice video
☺
I found the same, fruits were very expensive (compared to prices I am used to in Australia) and veges very reasonably priced.
Yeah, it's a real shame. Fruit is one of my favourite things to buy back home.
Love your videos. Think you need a bike out there in the suburbs. Can you rent one?
Thanks 😎 yeah, it's a good idea out here. I could probably buy one for relatively cheap tbh.
i havent seen a bad supermarket in japan yet
Tamade! 😂
@@TravellingBritishGuy will have to check that one out for science lol
Hy, my name is Fueki, its japanese convert name
Im planning to work and stay in japan, but i dont have any colleagues or friends there.. So i need to know things by asking other who already live there
Can you please help me answer some questions about live in japan?
Im more comfortable to talk in private but its okay if you can only answer here.. I really need help to figure things out before go there..
Do I have to use Pasport or visa to open Japan bank account ?
To rent a apartment or room or house is it MUST use pasport or visa too?
And is it MUST have a guarantor like a company?
I planning to go there without any help from organization or community, so i wont have any guarantor to rent a house / room to live in
is there a house or room that can be rented without guarantor or complicated requirement?
Hopefully theres a cheap one and easy to rent near wherever I got job
I really need information 😩
You'll need a residence card, passport and address to open a bank account.
You'll need a guarantor for an apartment. Just get an Airbnb. That's what I've been doing on this trip.
@@TravellingBritishGuy ohh you on trip, i thought you live there
I never use it before, do we can Rent room for 1 month up to 1 year with airbnb?
I come to work so the price have to be affordable and dont exceed japan minimum wages monthly
Thank you sir for replying my question
I really appreciate it
@@ZenRegalia Yeah, you can stay for months at a time. There's no limit. If you get kicked out, you could find another pretty easily too. Good luck.
@@TravellingBritishGuy yeah I've check the airbnb, thank you so much sir for the informations, I will watch your videos as reference before I arrived there
