Josh, two years ago I purchased an Uberflex hose based on your recommendation and I couldn't be happier with it. In fact, I purchased my electric pressure washer and all connectors and accessories based on your video reviews and everything has worked flawlessly. Keep up the great work.
@@dougprentice1363 I don't know. I'm not knowledgeable about metals and it's not something I ever would have thought of. But I'm not going to take the quick connect off the hose so I assume it won't be a problem.
@@archiepezek thanks for replying. The rubber seals will eventually go bad. And if the threads bond, the o-rings can't be replaced. Sad. O-rings are like 25 cents. I guess I'll just throw the whole setup out when that happens. I just can't believe hight quality hose comes with aluminum fittings.
Bro, I've been trying to decide between these two for days now. This video couldn't of came out at a better time. I'm just gonna cough up the few extra bucks and go with the tried and true Uberflex. Oh I got the black 50ft Yamatic last year. It was advertised as kink-free. Nope Kinked up just like all my other factory hoses. Not only that but about two months in it started leaking at the rubber seal. Update: Just got my Uberflex. Its everything you claimed it to be, Josh. Took it out from the package and immediately laid straight. I tried kinking it, it wouldn't. So glad I went with the Uberflex. Only regret was not getting the 50ft.
Very glad I found your channel and even happier that my brand new Uberflex 50’ hose just came in. No more tangled mess and moving the machine around to reach the whole vehicle. Thanks for all your content.
Josh, I got into and purchased my pressure washing setup based on your recommendations. I'm in my 60s and needed an easier way to keep the cars clean. Your advice is the way to go. The Uberflex is a great hose. All your recommendations, the Ryobi, quick connects and soap cannon all work great together. Thanks for the great videos!
After watching your videos for the past year and a half and finally purchasing a Dewalt electric 2400 pressure washer, I agree with your factory hose analysis. I happened to be in Walmart and saw the Hart 35’ pressure hose and it is printed “Uberflex” on the hose itself. So I purchased it for $37.99, got about 10 extra feet, fits on my storage strap on the washer, and it works beautifully. The best part is that the new hose is black like the Dewalt hose, therefore it matches my washer. Yes, I guess my vanity kicked in. All the after market hose colors have been blue, green, red, etc. Thank you for sharing your insights.
I got the uberflex hose last summer and quickly learned to be careful while pulling it to loop up for storage: got rope burn. All in all, a fantastic hose though.
Hey Josh! There's a brand called TRUPER that claims to have great pressure washers at a low price, particularly the HILA-2000 model... But no one's better than you making honest reviews so if you could target that one, it would be of great help to many of us. Thank you!!!

Thanks brother…just swung by the local Wally and picked up the Black Max hose! Even says Uberflex by Propulse right on the thing so is it not only the same patent number but it’s made by the same company. Perfect for me because I wanted 50’ hose but didn’t want to mess with the additional length so was gonna go 25’, but this hose is actually a 35’ which is a great compromise! I also prefer basic black color too so more added bonus! I wouldn’t have known this had you not pointed it out in you video…thank you!
I got the yamatic a few weeks ago, the 100ft version. I've had the flexzilla for years but needed additional length to work around the house. Compared to the flexzilla the yamatic is very slightly thinner with a different texture. Flexibility is very similar, but the yamatic has a tiny bit more memory (its still minimal though). It also comes with quick-connects.
I purchased that Walmart black maxx hose. I don't remember where I saw it as a good replacement to the one that comes with a pressure washer. I didn't know It was same as the Uber flex. It is night n day difference. I love it. I only got the black maxx because it was cheaper than the Uber flex I was originally gonna purchase. I'm glad I did. I just finished washing my cars n remembered about the black max hose. I looked to see if it says anything on it that it is from uberflex n yes it does! It has unberflex printed right on the hose. Great little find if you can find it at your local Walmart
I have an U-flex but with the quick release connectors. I change all my electric pressure washers (I have only one right now) to quick release so I can use a single hose for my electric and gas washers. This way, it doesn't matter if the electric connection is 14mm or 15mm. I just need the correct converter. The other benefit is that the hose will connect to my spray gun and I don't have to worry about PSI ratings. Obviously, you don't want to use a gas washer for car washing but you might want one at some point PLUS, the quick connect is much easier to work with anyway. When I get another electric to mount on the wall, I'll make the conversion and be all set.
I think that as long as the uberflex hose ends has m22 3/8 quick connect males, it can connect to any m22 3/8 quick connect females, doesn't matter if the pressure washers are 15mm or 14mm... if by chance you got a 15mm pressure washer, then just plug in a m22 15mm quick connect female and it will "convert" it without needing another extra 15 to 14mm connection. I haven't tried it yet as I already bought the 15mm to 14mm thing, but a friend of mine already ordered a m22 15mm quick connect set, the quick connect will make the conversion without needing the 15 to 14.... hopefully that will work for him and i might change mine later on to reduce connections, so it's not that bulky at the connection point.
How do you set up power in your vehicle for all your equipment. A video tutorial would be helpful. Great content I have learned a lot from you. Thanks.
I have the green one is horrible, retains so much memory that the gun swivel doesn’t work, just ordered the Uberflex as you recommend will see in a few days
Yea the new ones do! It’s awesome that they are including good accessories like that. Personally 25’ is still a bit small though. 35 would be the minimum in I use but 50’ is my preferred length
Hey Josh! Great videos! Left my local Walmart and they don’t carry black max hoses anymore the Uber flex one, but! Found the hart brand and it says Uber flex! In case anyone asks. Thanks for all you do!
I've seen some Amazon reviews and read that it rips easily and bubbles formed in the hose. Even saw a picture of one that expanded like 100x its original size 😅
The uberflex? I’ve had it bubble on me after a long time but it was my fault cause I left it bent in a spot when I turned it in which cause a pressure point. Otherwise I use them daily in my business and they are great
I’m using the flexzilla hose off Amazon and it has no memory effect and doesn’t kink at all vs the oem one that came that one would stay curled and developed a soft spot.
I noticed you listed the M MINGLE Pressure Washer Swivel as an upgrade. Ive had this for a few years and the swivel doesnt move at all under pressure. It also barely moves without manually turning it without pressure. You can't even wave the wand/pistol around by the hose.
I am very guided by your videos, but I have a Karcher K5, could you tell me which adapters to buy? I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance. Greetings from Chile
Bought Uber flex 50ft 3/8 hose with the quick connection.. I think it is rated at 4,000psi. But to be honest I really hate it. It's flexible but it to cumbersome .. Looking to get a 1/4 flexible. But then I need the adapter
Thank you for all the excellent videos, Josh. Do you know what size the connections are for Sun Joe pressure washers? I want to get the Uberflex pressure washer hose, and I'm wondering if I'll need to buy a separate adapter to connect it to the pressure washer using the quick connects that I have.
If I remember correctly most of the sun joes use an m22x 15 so you would need an adapter. This is the one: www.amazon.com/dp/B07FZ8J1CC/?tag=detailgreen-20
I bought the uberflex and wish i got the flexzilla. Uberflex doesnt kink but it loops like crazy so it is just as bad as kinking. I have to stretch it all the way out before use to get it in a state that is actually functional.
Can you hook the Uber flex to a hose reel? If so, which one do you recommend? Thanks for the awesome video man. I have a RV detailing videos and looking for ideas. Thanks again
You sure can! Its a little trickier because of the m22 fitting for it to lay flat so I would recommend the cox reels for that. I’ve made a few videos on different hose reels as well so they should come up if you search imjoshv hose reel or something like that!
Thanks so much for this. I am considering the Greenworks ProElectric Pressure Washer 3000 PSI Model GPW3001 sold at Lowes and BestBuy but the Lowes has the Blue UberFlex hose and the BestBuy has a Black hose with no information on the type of hose. Which one would you purchase with both being the same price? Thanks again.
I have this hose on your recommendation, while better than a stock hose for sure, I can still foresee something more forgiving. When you pull them apart 6:30... to show flexibility here, imo the vide shows the left side as a hot mess. What is a grade above the Flex hose that would really lay flat and come straight with no effort?
Excellent video! Uberflex is the GOAT hose! I've got a sun joe spot 2599 I think or the value from Walmart Their black hose leaks, do you think I need an adapter?

I a video you did about pressure nozzles and orifice size. Could you recommend which orifice size I should get for my pressure washer to adjust the pressure and flow rates. And also where can i get them Thanks in advance
Seems their listing is intentionally attempting to replicate better hoses. I guess part of the cost are the quick connects? Still not a great deal. Love my Flexzilla!
Josh, great videos. Just recently started watching. The quick connects that you have linked are a m22 to 3/8 plug. Do you change the connection on the pressure washing gun as well to accept the 3/8 plug? I bought an m22 to 1/4 plug but it isn’t tight and moves around if I don’t hold it. Any recommendations? Thank you.
