I've been working with a standard knife and I've been really wanting to get a Damascus knife, wether wootz or something like it but comparable harness and edge retention to something like a Dexter kitchen knife which is what I've been working with it. Decided that after I get good at knife skills and sharpening I wanted to get a nice knife with a nice looking handle and while reading around I originally was under the impression it was no longer possible to make this steel for some reason
