    I have asthma and it's no fun, so glad you got a new inhaler. My daughter was born when I got to 32 weeks, I had pre-eclampsia and my daughter was 2 months premature. She is now a very healthy and happy 19 year old.

    Hi Bree!! It’s getting so close now isn’t it, eek!! 😍 I just wanted to share from my own pregnancy that from the second trimester onwards I wasn’t able to lie on my back either. I would become extremely woozy and nauseous after 2-3 minutes 😵‍💫 and have to roll onto my side or sit up. I was informed by a midwife that we have a certain nerve on or near our spine (forgive me, this was
    4 years ago now!) and when we’re pregnant, the more pressure that gets put on it the more it can cause issues for us and our babies because it prevents blood flow etc. She also suggested lying on my left side mostly, something to do with your stomach not getting crushed when you lie on the left, and so you have less nausea that side - that’s actually a tip that has helped me if I’m feeling nauseous even since giving birth!! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ So I really hope this can help you to avoid any more dizzy / nausea moments…..try to stay lying on your left side and avoid lying in your back wherever possible 😘 The first nap I took after my baby girl was born was flat on my back and I thought is died and gone to heaven!! Something to look forward to 😂🥰💖

      @Rojeska ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's not a nerve, it's a large blood vessel called vena cava, past 28 weeks the weight of the uterus can restrict the blood flow, especially to the baby.

    I’ve got severe asthma and have been told before that asthmatic women tend to go one of two ways when pregnant, their asthma gets much worse or much better. It’s actually a lot to do with the hormones apparently!

  • @AstroGirl42
    @AstroGirl42 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    One third of asthmatics get worse in pregnancy, one third stay the same and one third get better. So it can happen to get get worse, even if you are mild. If you need to use it a lot, you might benefit from a steroid inhaler as well. I would also recommend a spacer as you will get more drug into your lungs that way. Xxx

    What a lovely update its all coming together nicely.
    I wss wondering are you doing a q and a or anything like that? I'm interested to know if you're going to be doing a birth story blog type thing or a speaking video and if you'll be revealing things like name or just an initial etc. I love your level of privacy I have the same with my children in regards to social media etc

    My round legiment pain wasn't terrible with my first, but it got worse and worse with my next two pregnancies and actually my first symptom of pregnancy with my first!
    Random question (not passing judgement :) ) is your hair darker? I was blond but my hair has gotten much darker with each pregnancy and now is very brown. Just wondering if you were experiencing this as well?

    I wonder if carrying a small battery operated fan might help? It might relieve the anxiety of the asthma breathlessness along with the inhaler. Plus you could use it to cool you off if you get overheated and feel faint. And I know for me the breeze on my face can help when I’m feeling anxious

    I wonder if you passed out during the massage due to your IVC being compressed. It sounds like it could have been possible since it was then relieved by moving to your side.

    My whole pregnancy I had a different midwife I never ever saw the same woman twice :( I had to explain every time I went in I was going for growth scans and baby was breach and blah blah the majority of the appointment was taken up by me explaining the first 30 odd weeks of my pregnancy :/

    The perks of asthma hey? Maybe try using a spacer, mines not been doing well in the last few years so my doctor put me back on one, I have the big rugby ball one so that’s fun to take places!! Not much longer!!😁

    Everything you’ve experienced is normal… it’s not a “symptom”, it’s just the basic physiology of pregnancy.

    With respect. Is she aware her -- is showing through?

      What ?

    • @BeccaB00xox
      @BeccaB00xox ปีที่แล้ว

      @niamh marie I think the op is trying to ask if she is aware that during the showing her bump clip, her top is on the sheer side and you can see her chest through it

    • @elliekinzz1
      @elliekinzz1 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      She’s probably aware. I don’t think it matters though, it’s only a body 😊

    • @BeccaB00xox
      @BeccaB00xox ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @elliekinzz1 I'm assuming she knows since she has to edit the videos. 99.9% of the population have nipples so I never understand either why its so taboo to show them 😆

    • @raigenhuss7030
      @raigenhuss7030 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      She said she’s been breathless. Wearing a bra is probably very constricting. We all have nipples. I’m sure she doesn’t care

  • @Fudge-go4xl

    • @raigenhuss7030
      @raigenhuss7030 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Bras are restricting on a normal day. Having tight chest and breathlessness makes it hard to wear things over the chest. Also, who cares. They’re nipples, we all have them
