A re upload of DMC 5 with the music included. =)first time around we did it without the music, and as you can imagine, that sucked lol. Loved the game and just wanted to redo it
The story takes place several years after the events of Devil May Cry 4, Nero having set up his own demon hunting agency based out of a van adorned with a neon "Devil May Cry" sign Dante gave him with support from Kryie and his engineer Nico. But on April 30, Nero encounters a dying demon who rips off his Devil Bringer arm to acquire the Devil Arm Yamato, intent on settling a feud with Dante. A few days later, a man known as "V" comes to the Devil May Cry office to hire Dante, Lady, and Trish to kill a certain demon from their past that is about to return. The group arrive in Red Grave City on May 16, crossing paths with Nero as they are both after the same figure: A demon named Urizen who has planted a demon tree called Qliphoth in the city. They try to attack Urizen together, but he overpowers them all and Dante holds Urizen off so V can get Nero to safety. Dante is ultimately defeated and his Rebellion sword breaks, while Urizen turns Lady and Trish into cores for the demons Artemis and Cavaliere Angelo...

Hey, just to let you know. The Division was not supposed to be cheesey or anything. Operation Dark Winter was suppsoedly real, as the game title, Tom Clancy, is used for near-real-life occurances. The Division was made to show that the possibility of a biochemical attack is very real. I do hope you understand.
Generally I wouldn't make such a stink about the music, but... it's Devil May Cry, man. The music is such an integral part of the experience. Thanks for redoing this.

I love the different facial features they gave everyone. They all have really unique faces, not just “traditionally attractive” like other DMC games. Lady is SUCH an improvement, her original face should’ve been a crime 😭 and nicos is so perfect too, it fits her voice so well.
And they keep showing off V’s side profile 😭 now all the game needs is a little color 🥲

it took me until the final fight to realize the nero's voice after was the same one that did the english dub for bleach's ichigo korusaki.

Nico is the Hanji Zoë of this franchise
So in DMC, both Dante and Vergil have the same power level with Dante beating Vergil.
In the first fight in DMC.3 Vergil wins because he had awaken his Devil Trigger, the next fight is a draw again because Dantes Devil Trigger awakens but in the fight Dante looks like he is not giving it 100%.
In the final Fight Vergil loses ( gives up) to Dante, maybe because he used a Sword he was not used to.
In DMC1 Dantes wins against Nero Angelo( Vergil).
Now Vergil uses Yamato to break up his human and demon half and turns and by doing so is somehow stronger then Dante and his Devil Trigger maybe by absorbing Yamato but Yamato is shown to be still intact and is used by him.
Dante absorbs the Sparda and the rebelion and is stronger then Vergil.
Vergil eats the Fruit and evoles and is still weaker then Dante.
V and Vergil merged bodys again and is now as strong as Dante... Did i miss something?
Dose it not feel like Vergil should be either way weaker then Dante or way stronger?
And since when is Vergil the older brother, i thought they are twins?
To answer your question, let me explained the process into how Vergil acquired his sin form. Urizen acted as the Yamato since he became one with it but he was incomplete due to being a one half of a greater whole. So I believe this could be the equivalent of Dante’s broken rebellion due to it. The fruit that Urizen ate is basically an edible sparda since both grants the wielder incredible powers. Plus with Yamato being inside of Urizen it possible combine with the fruit and him thus creating what I think is incomplete sin trigger form. The reason as to why it’s incomplete is cause it lacks humanity. Dante’s sin form was created by absorbing sparda with the rebellion while fusing his demonic and human blood together. So when V and Urizen became whole it was the equivalent of that while also realizing that the two of them desire the same thing and need each other to be one again to gain greater power thus reconciling Vergil’s human and Demonic halves spiritually and literally

We see him use the sword as a defence mechanism.I find it weird to think that the Fruit that Mundos ate to defeat the former King could not give Vergil a bigger boost. Bruh u had me at fairy tail. Also the Yamato disappears and reappears out of thin air just like how Nero use in DMC4. To answer the question of the fruit is that he was incomplete, not whole to utilize its true power

So i maid a List of the 7 Dragon Slayers with some explanation from strongest to weakest. What do you think?
1.Laxus: Rank.S, second Gen. Slayer he beat Wahl one of the Spriggan 12 and enemy who had a immunity to Laxus powers. He beat him with his new Mode Red Lightning and just recoverd from his bainpartical poisening.After that fight he fought against the memory of Hades. In the newist Manga he showed that he can control his new Mode and beat Erza with it. He also learnd the spell Fairy Law. But he and Gajeel both have not yet learned Dragonforce not a pure form ( Not sure if second Gens. can have a pure one) or the weaker from.
2.Natsu: Rank.A first Gen. Slayer he beats all the big bads like Jellal, Gajeel, Future Rogue, Jacob Lessio, powerd up Neinhart, frightend Dimaria Yesta and of course Zeref. He has leanrd and can controle one or two of his Mods: Fire and lightning Dragon and Fire dragon King. But can´t use Dragonforce at will
3.Sting: Rank.Guild leader, third Gen. Slayer. He and Rouge beat the newist Demon of the Underworld King and as the Light-Shadow Slayer he beat Larcade Dragneel, the latest Demon maid by Zeref. He has shown extrem sense of endurance in the fight against both Larcade and Acnologia. He was able to Kill his formal Guild leader in a Rage surprise attack and can contral his weakend Dragonforce.
4.Future Rouge: Rank Dragon King, third Gen. Slayer, he was able to kill Sting and turn himself into the Shadow-Light Dragon Slayer, he learnd a spell to bend Dragons to his will in the intent to take on Acnologia. He went toe to toe but lost to Natsz who consumed fire from the Purgetorydragon.
5.Wendy: Rank.A, first Gen.Dargon Slayer she with the help of Erza took out the strongest woman if the Spriggan 12 Irene Belserion. She is the only Gen.one Dragon Slayer who has masterd Dragonforce. In the newst Managa it has been revealded that she inherted some of Irenes power and created the Irene Mode/enchantment. Like Sting she has shown great endurance and has the ability to think on the fly as its shown in the battle against Irene where she has enchanted Erzas blades with Dragon slayer magic and in the battle against Acnologia where she enchanted every Slayer power into Natzu.
6.Erik/Cobra Rank. unkown, second Gen. Slayer, the reason for me to put him on this spot on the list was his fight against Acnologia, in both the anime and manga was he the person after Natsu who was stood back up and tried it again where the others stayed down. He has control over his weakend dragonforce and has shown other abilitys like mind reading that have helped him in a fight.
7.Rouge Rank.S third Gen. Slayer with the help of Sting he beat the newst Demon created by the Underworld King.
He has control of his weakend Dragonforce and has the ability to merged with the shadows.
8. Gajeel Rank.A first Gen Slayer. by sacrificing his life and becoming the Iorn-Bainpartical Dragonslayer he was able to beat Bloodman the weakest of the Spriggan 12. Gajeel was able to absorb both the Bainparticals to create a new form and Rouges shadows and became the Ironshadow dragon slayer Mode. Both Modes have not yet reapierd ( In the Manga i blieve he used the Iron-Shadow from twice) which tells us either that he can not control these or sees no use in them. He and Laxus are the only Dragonslayers who have not yet learned Dragonforce.

They are twins, but Vergil was born first, so he's a couple minutes older.
Just wanted to point out, Urizen literally is drawing off virtually all the bosses in the game, his attacks similar to another's attack, cept maybe malphas and his own tendril attacks. Okie byyyyyye
his own tendril attacks are really reminiscent of the arkham fight in dmc3 where he shot a purple tendril at you, fuck those attacks

I want to know wth was Nico's van made of, it has more endurance than the entirety of Sparda's family combined. If they threw that van at Urizen right from the start this whole game would have been over in 2 minutes.
Its made of a rare demonic mineral wich can only be obtained by a blood relative of sparda. Its also known as plot armor.

I would like to see Vergil joining the egency in the next game, it be funny if he actually keep the light on and water running in the egency as he makes them take other jobs, but also show to share some of his brothers laziness at times. XD

I thought the same thing, the monologue is a bit vague. Dante says “If the Yamato can separate man from devil… Then what about the Rebellion?” At first I thought he was saying the Rebellion can do the same. Maybe he was trying to imply that the Rebellion does the opposite, and instead of separating them, it fuses them together?

The Yamato was used to seal the underworld from the human world which is why it separates man from devil. The Rebellion was used to unite with humanity in rebellion against Mundas so it unites man and devil.

...V reminds me too much of Genesis from Crisis Core. Dunno if they have the same VA or not, but the way they act and motivations are actually similar if you pay attention to them. Hell, they both even have the same vibe in their looks, in a way. Well, mabybe less the clothing choice but their more their vibe in design more than anything else.

Descent graphics and all, but the game itself is not all that good. Besides, the only game I like with Dante in it is Dante’s Inferno which is a much better game to me.
Dante's Inferno is a boring, paint-by-numbers, God of War clone which bastardizes the source material to tell a watered-down, "edgy" version of the tale. At least DMC has an original story.
