Angelina is the writer of her songs. Indubitably. Since being at Republic, she has had a couple of people in her team help with the writing .. but all her songs are basically hers. Her other originals in the EP are brilliant non-videos. It's good to get to know her writing. She is an amazing poet. Someone recently asked her how many songs she has written that she might make songs out of and her answer was over a hundred. I totally believe that number. Especially right now with her EP that houses six new originals. Two of them videos. She is phenomenally devoted to her craft and her music. And we are the lucky ones who get to receive those amazing gifts. I have heard all of them .. some 2 or 3 times already (except the 2 videos, which I have watched tons of times ..) I very much recommend you hear all six songs .. I have heard they are in some kind of order of watching, which I didn't follow cause I hadn't heard that before but just started about a half hour ago to listen all over again in the "right" order: 1. Love, Don't Let Me Go (video); 2. Now I'm the Fool (video); 3. Fire and Rain; 4. All My Fault; 5.Good in Goodbyes and 6. Diamond. It is great to have a reason to start over and watch them in the order I heard was the ideal of how she wanted us to watch and/or hear them. I have just watched the first three and about to continue with #4 to #6. I'm curious how they all might follow each other .. I had found them all pretty complete on their own. Onward!!!
You'd think so but it's not really uncommon for someone to blank on a verse that they themselves wrote. There's a sort of threshold of memorization that you can reach when you do things like this professionally when it becomes incredibly difficult to actually, even momentarily, forget a line. You can have something memorized, sure, but then a stagehand drops something, a scene partner forgets their line or jumps ahead in script, you get some upsetting personal news, whatever the thing is, and your mind just misplaces the words. It happens. BUT, there is a place where those words can become so engrained that even with those circumstances, even when you don't think you can consciously remember them, they just seem to appear in your mouth the moment you need them. That's the place I felt like Angelina was in here. Of course, understand that I have no way of actually knowing this. So much of what I do here is speculative. I'm just a viewer, like you guys. The only difference between me and most of you is that I've had the privilege of seeing things from behind the curtain. That's all. I'm nothing special. Glad you enjoyed the reaction!

Yeap I totally agree with all your past reactions to Angelina, I just watched them all until this one. The only thing she had to work on since she was a child is acting the role of the person singing the song not only bring the emotion the song deserves. And this right here is the final result in my opinion, she mastered it right here, the moves and hand gestures and face expressions are spot on. It feels like she broke the shel she was in 😅 Angelina is a shy person and humble, so that explains why she was shy to make certain moves (my theory). Using her voice to tell the story of the song to captivate you and bring the emotion of the song forefront to us was her strong point since she was a child. When a special human being like this comes to the world and shows that they really are a good person and touches a lot of hearts by her humbleness and humanitarianism makes some fans overprotective. I admit I am one of those that think she is going to become the greatest vocalist/artist of all time. To associate her skill, her fantastic growth, her unique voice, enchanting lyrics and the beauty of the emotions they convey simply leaves me in awe and grateful to have known her 10 years ago and have had the pleasure of being able to follow her over the years. My personal favorites on the EP are this one, Diamond (there is a rap section lol) and Fire and Rain. My favorite original is still Million Miles though, cause it has the emotion she is so good at expressing.

I got home from work and was exhausted, Fell asleep listening to some of AJs new stuff and then my play list kicked in but, in my dream, somehow my mind put AJs voice to the song that was playing, and it shook me.
