Srimad Bhagavatam speaks of 24 gurus. Learn from everything around you. Yes, you need to be loyal to your guru, but the beauty of a true guru is, he will accept you and cleanse you even if you are disloyal. He will not disapprove of your having multiple gurus not speak ill of the other gurus. Another sign of a true guru is that your Conscience will be clear when you're anywhere within his vicinity. You will feel content with yourself - not superficially - like many people want to be associated with the brand Isha, not the deeper meaning... you don't feel any contentment superficially, but inside of you...those are gurus you must stick with.

Those 24 Gurus in Bhagvatam belong to same tradition. But 98% vaishanava Gurus will not accept any Guru outside their tradition

If you drive with two navigation systems which lead to the same goal but take different roads it could be very confusing and probably you will drive in circles and never get to your destination. So just choose one Navigation System and it will be very clearly when to turn left, when to turn right and when to go straight to your destination.
My Only worry about Sadhguru is that, he is relatively irreplaceable. How the road is gonna be when he is gone is my greatest worry. I may be wrong, however i feel he is irreplaceable.
It is said, you should use Master for improving yourself, but never depend on him Forever. You need to make yourself better to live without master.
Hi... In death book sadguru has written his presence will be there more stronger after he leaves body up to 80 years.... If u are sincere... He will guide u even after death.... So don't worry and follow him.... For better clarity read death book

In public schools, many classes are complimentary while very different. There's a teacher specialized in each subject so they can teach it best. If different gurus specialize in different areas, but have the same virtues and spiritual aspirations, then there is no big problem. Only that it takes more work to master what one guru teaches when you study under two or more. * If perchance that you could study under two or more gurus who teach the same thing, then you can develop a much thorough understanding of the lessons, because you get more than one perspective on the same subject. * What it takes in having more than one teacher is a harmonizing discernment in order to perceive the greater reality by filtering out the disharmonies. The highest truth leaves nothing out that has manifested in any way. It all serves a purpose, even though much is undesirable. ~ I speak to compliment Sadhguru. He has a place in my consciousness.

Maria Hunkins Guru has mainly 4 meanings. Teacher, Elder, Superior and Heavy Heavy (both in terms of mass and personality, as we say weighty). The teacher is the most used context. It doesn’t mean Master. Master is Swamy or Prabhu

Buddha said don't look at my finger look at the Moon. Gurus are fingers. People are discussing about their attachments to fingers and Gurus can't be Buddhas to draw the attention away from him. Buddha also said " if I am a Banyan tree I would never wish my seeds fall under my shade. They should be far away from my influence to germinate and flourish and grow bigger than me". Neither the sea nor the ship nor the navigator nor the sailor that matters at the end . It is the spiritual destination that has the Absolute Significance.
